Another Video From A Great Start Shooting School

here because I can't camera. But anyway, hello! Where are we? We're in Pennsylvania now. We still in Jersey? I don't know. We're in Jersey. All right, we're in Jersey. We're on our way to the Great American Outdoor Show. I didn't know I was going, so I didn't tell anyone. We have 2 hours and 26 minutes according to the GPS before we actually show up there, but I hear I got some friends that are there. So, Miss Amanda Suffolk, if you are there, I'm gonna come visit. Uh, I'm hoping that it really does stay open till 7 because right now. We're going to be arriving around 4, so I'm hoping it doesn't close at 5 PM, but if it does, we'll run in and run around. Uh, my first time going, so, uh, I checked in with Charlie Cook on our earlier portion of our trip today, and, uh, what'd he tell us? There's lots of stuff, it'll be fun. And, uh, what else we got? Let's see. My first time. Uh, G-Webs had told me about this forever ago. Most of my fancy gun friends go to this thing all the time. Barbecue, I know, has been dying to go, and we tried almost to get him there until I realized I have to drive past it and come back to grab him. So one of these days we'll get him there. But for those of you who don't know, my goal is to go to all of these things that some of you folks, like Shooting Shot— Riding Shotgun with Charlie, goes to every year, um, to just check them out so I can say that I've been there. So if Mr. Martin Sprick is watching, I'm coming for you, you grumpy Smurf, and I will see you there. And so the plan is we arrive around 4, walk around, keep our fingers crossed that it really is open till 7 tonight because it'd be a bummer to be only there about half hour, but we'll do what we can. My goal today is to look at safe storage devices for firearms because in Connecticut we got some crazy laws, and the more options we have, the better. The other thing I'm looking to find while I'm here is going to be the concealed carry options for women, because one does love a good concealed carry purse. Even if you carry on body, my good friend Kathy Jackson did say, um, that you need to have a secondary option in case your belt breaks, in case your holster breaks. It's not bad to have a fanny pack that was actually made for concealed carry, even when you carry on your body. And for those of you who don't know what Kathy Jackson does, go look up The Cornered Cat, because she She has an amazing blog out there, and yes, you can still buy her book, The Cornered Cat: Self-Defense for Women. I highly recommend it. One of my first ones. I can see my pink hand waving! Hey, Crabby Turtle, how are you, my friend? Always good to see you. I am looking at the road more than I am looking at the TV, but I saw that pink hand waving, and for those of you who know, you know that pink hand waving is always my favorite. Coop, good to see you, sir.
