All right, so we're going to go over decocking your double-action revolver. So your hammer is cocked, you're ready to shoot, there's a lot of ammo in here, but there's been a ceasefire called, so you're not taking the shot. What do you do? Well, fingers off the trigger, gun is pointed in a safe direction. We're going to take our left thumb and put it in front of the hammer. The rest of our hand is going to be around the gun, so basically it's holding it there. Our thumb for our right hand is going to be placed on the hammer spur. Once all of that is in place, now our finger goes onto the trigger. We're going to pull the trigger to release the hammer, then our finger comes off the trigger and now we're going to allow our thumb to slowly drop the hammer. While we're doing that, we're letting our left thumb roll out of the way. So thumb goes in front of the hammer, thumb goes on the hammer spur, finger goes on the trigger. We pull the trigger, take our finger back off the trigger, We allow the thumb to slowly release the hammer and get it back to the fallout. Now we are done. Blah.
