Icarus Christmas!!!

All right, hey CNT. Um, yeah, y'all are crazy. Like, I didn't realize that once I click this before I go live that it shows that I'm going to be showing up. So hi CNT, how are you? Um, all right, so it's Christmas. It's, um, whatever, it's Icarus Christmas. And so I got this in the mail while I was away in California. So now it's like an unboxing because I have not seen any of this yet, so I have no idea what it looks like. But on top of the box. I got my hat. Oh wait, I got two hats. So this is our cool 2022 logo, um, and it's super soft like my shirt because my shirt was made by Icarus too. Um, and yeah, I haven't worn them or anything, but I don't know, it's like, it's, it's like a super fancy hat. So anyway, Here is one thing that I got for being a competitive shooter and talking about their stuff from time to time. We don't have any sales or anything we have to have to do, but there's stuff and it's going to make lots of noise. So my team captain, or I don't even know, thank you, C&T, um, is Oh my goodness. So here we go. Anyway, we have more stuff this year than we've ever gotten before. So first we've got my— we'll call this the black one. We're just gonna go by, by, uh, by colors. They put my logo, my Great Start Shooting School logo, on my sleeves. And then, ready? Ready? How cool is this? There's my last name, Team Icarus. And then we got my logo on the back, DC Projects smack dab in the middle, all that good stuff. So here's the black one. Oh yeah, it does say Brooke on the front, you know, so no one can have my shirts, but I'll let y'all decide which one I should wear. So there's one, there's my black one. Ready? There's more, hold on. Ready? Now we got green, same deal. Got my name on the front, got my name on the back, Team Icarus. I got the logos going on here. I always go this backwards, so— oh yeah, wait, so maybe I should hold it up like this so y'all can decide which coloring goes best with me. But how cool is this? It's like, it looks like a giant wing, right? Um, so there's green. Oh, and by the way, don't be jerks and all vote for black because black is usually hotter. So I'm just saying, it doesn't mean that I'm not gonna look awesome in any color you guys decide. So here we got gray, gray and white, um, same idea. Now here's the thing is, this is the— for what the heck is it called? It is called— I think it's called Coolmax. So these shirts are wicked soft and super cool for the summertime. Um, so yeah, sorry, are you calling me big time, you know, because I got my name on a shirt and stuff? Is that the thing? Um, and yes, but black is so slimming, it's true. But anyway, Um, who knows, maybe I will just wear a different one to my dry fire live fire dry fire lives that I do. All right, so I'm not gonna lie, blue is my favorite color. Um, logos on the back, and, uh, that's pretty awesome. I'm not gonna lie, I think the logos pop probably the best on that white and gray one that we just did. But wait, there's more! I got sleeves. I've never worn sleeves before, but I love it because now— because like, I hate wearing sunscreen. I am so not gonna be here. Hey Uncle John, how are you? Happy to have you as always. Um, but yeah, I love the idea of not having to put sunscreen on, so that's what I love about my sleeves. I don't know if the compression is going to make any difference or not for me, how tired I'm going to be or not going to be. But now we're going to have to mix and match. Do I do black with blue or gray or who knows what, um, or green? Oh, but wait, there's more. Hold on. Um, I got gray sleeves too. So again, it's that coordination thing. It's like, all right, which ones do I put them with? Hold on though, I got more stuff. So that was the first bag of things that I got sent to me from Icarus. Oh, but wait, I got a sticker. Trying to figure out how many Icarus stickers I have, so it's kind of cool. I like, like I said, this is sort of a new, it's a new type of logo. So yeah, our team captain went a little bit crazy, but hey, ask and you shall receive. Are you kidding me? I have a jacket. I now have a super fancy, when it rains, I'm still repping my Icarus stuff. Nice and light. Um, and how awesome is it, they sent us jackets as well. Ta-da! No, my name is not on this one, but, uh, I actually do love that song. Blue on black, tears on a river. Anyway, so yeah. Oh, it's got it on the sides. There we go. See, I can even get this on now, and it's nice and big because when you're at the shooting match, you have so much crap on your waist, you need something as big as possible. So, but yeah, I do like that song. All right, but wait, there's more. All right, so for shirts though, we do have the 4 choices, right? We have gray, blue, black, and green. So those are your choices. You can vote for them. You have until probably Friday because I'm probably gonna pack on Saturday. So pick a color, and whoever votes— I mean, whatever color gets the most votes, that, um, that's the shirt that I will, will wear on Sunday. So you get to dress me by choosing what color you want. I have pants. I have a new pair of pants. You know what's really crazy about this? They're custom, like, to my measurements kind of pants. I got shorts, which I'm super excited about. I am sort of self-conscious about having stuff written across my butt. But you know, the things we'll do for free stuff. Um, because yeah, the juicy thing never been my thing. So my— that— oh, sorry. So this is my pair of shorts, which I'm super excited about because they've got nice wide legs, and yours truly has very wide legs. Um, and then— are these shorts or pants? And then I have a pair of actual pants. Again, super happy because they're nice and thick in the bottom and not tapered terribly hard. So depending on weather, I'll be wearing my new pants or my new shorts. They were custom made just for me by Icarus because that's what they do. And, uh, let's see, blue shirt, black sleeves is the first, uh, vote here, right? So, uh, I know you should be watching the fashion show, but nice poster. Wait, Which poster? Uh, there's so many of them. Or are we just talking about the— I don't even know what kind of pants. Um, so these are from— my butt is going to say Team Icarus. So that's what kind of, um, that's what kind of pants. So these are custom made. Um, what are they? They're all like breathable, super light, um, whatever this is called, super light fabric. And it's fancy stitching. I don't know how well you guys can see it or not, but it's actually not white, it's actually shiny silver. So I will have Icarus on my butt regardless of whether I wear my shorts or my pants. So I've got that. All right, so final review if you're all ready. Now you got more of you people here. Um, yeah, over my dead body. Just no skinny jeans. Just no. My— I've been a hiker and a horseback rider for a long time. My calves are like this big. They are small tree trunks. All right, so just final review. I've got black, and the first, the first vote was black shirt with my silver sleeves. All right, so that's vote number 1. I forget who said that already. However, for those of you who want to be contrary, we can always go with gray shirt with my black sleeves is another possibility. Oh yeah, that's going to work really well. And then of course there's my favorite color, blue, with my logos and all of that. And then there's my son's favorite color, green. So that is everything. We got through the entire package. I just finished, uh, what did I just finish? I just finished a pistol permit class and I just was so excited to get into all of this. All right, what else do y'all say? Yes, it is very cool that custom made is awesome and nice. Um, the caliber— oh, that one! Yes. So, uh, oops, wait, I hit the wrong thing. So yeah, so here, let me, let me go over here. It's even— oh, the reflections on it, you can't really see it. So anyway, when I'm teaching my pistol permit class I tell everybody how I hate calibers because they make no sense. When you're taught 0 to 10, 0 is small, 10 is large, and I expect numbers to go like on a number line. Ammunition does not do that in any way, shape, or form. And so I tell people, you only know one ammo, and G-Webs isn't watching, so it's not.45. No, you only know the ammo that goes into your, into your, um gun and start there. So anyway, all right, well, you know, it's just I don't like being all compressed and whatnot. Just not so much fun. All right, yeah, so the blue on black, I get that, because like then I'll just have the song stuck in my head all day. But I am giving people time to, um, yeah, I'm gonna give you all time to whatever that's called, vote. Or choose because, um, what is today? Today is Sunday. I really, I really have to think about that. Um, and so I'm going to let you all review. Hey DJ, what's up? And, uh, let's see. And Tara is cleaning and listening. Good for you. So I got to share with you all my awesome, awesome, free, awesome stuff and custom made. I mean, so excited. I can't wait to put these on, um, because they were made for me, all my measurements.
