All right, welcome to my range. My name is Brooke Cheney. I'm the owner instructor here at Great Start Shooting School, and I'm also part of the Bombshell Goal Digger Challenge. Oh my gosh, this frog goes up as soon as I talk. And what am I doing here today? I'm going to do some of my goals. One of my goals this week is week 2 of of the Gold Digger Challenge, and what we are doing is 100, 1-0-0, 100 ab exercises each day this week. Tuesday through Monday, we've got one day off to give our little bellies a chance to recover. So today's crunches or sit-ups, and so what we're gonna do here at my range today is I'm gonna be doing my crunches and sit-ups because, you know, We'll see. Some of it will be sit-ups, some will be crunches. So here's what the setup is. I'm going to set up my range here and put a target up and load my ammo. I have 4 10-round mags, so each one of the magazines is going to be 10 sets or 10 reps, which is 1 set, and I'm gonna do a sit-up or crunch, and then I'm gonna shoot my target. I'm gonna do sit-up and a crunch, and then I'm gonna shoot my target. And here's the deal, just so we're clear, this is a closed range. I'm the only one here because it's my range, it's my private range. Number 2, I have been shooting professionally for over a decade and a half now. Team Icarus, gotta shout them out, that's who my sponsors were when I was doing competitive shooting. I am not suggesting that people go out and do this, but in my Bombshell Challenge it said do a video of a place where people wouldn't think you would do crunches necessarily. And so my little brain said, well, most people don't have a private range. Hmm, most people don't have the training to be able to do what I am about to do. And I'm gonna give a shout out to Kathy Jackson and Tatiana Whitlock and those people who taught me me how to get up and down off the ground with a firearm safely. So, uh, trained professional, please don't try this at home. This is not for everyone. This was a challenge put out there by Bombshell, and I just wanted to say that, you know, they are all— this was not their idea either. They're like, you come up with something, and this is what I came up with. So here you go. I'm gonna put in fast forward so y'all get to see it a little bit quicker so you're not here for 20 minutes because that's probably how long it will take me to do all that. All right, enjoy. All right, this is what my video— my range looks like prior to setting up for my ab challenge. I'm going to try to put this at the other end, do a time-lapse so you see what it takes to put together these 30-second videos that people watch. All right, so let's talk about what's gonna happen here. There's my target. This is where I'm gonna be lying down to do my crunches for today. And I'm gonna do one magazine, and then I'm gonna change where the, um, where we're videoing from, and then I'm gonna do next magazine, next magazine, until I get to 40 crunches. Each one will have a different view, so first one will start from behind. All right, first time. And yeah, I'm catching my breath. 10. You're up to 20 crunches. All right, girls, getting hot and sweaty now. All right, round 3. Oh my goodness, I think there's a rock right there. Not as low that time, not all the way down, but you know, I can't tell you the last time I did 10, much less 20, versus 30 crunches/sit-ups in the hot humidness of the fall of New England. All right, all right, are you ready for number 4? 40 crunches/sit-ups. All for the bombshell challenge. Just so we're clear. Hold on, folks, I'm fogging up because I'm hot and sweaty. I need to be able to see. All right, I need a little air. Wind come up just, just by a bit. I see it a little bit. All right, 10 more. This will make this 40 of my 100 I was supposed to do for today, so almost halfway there. All right, ready, set, and go. A good, bad, and ugly, folks. It's working out for the best. And that was 40. Oh, I'm gonna be sore tomorrow, and then I gotta do 100 more. Not crutches, but a different one. All right, there's my gallon. I got 40 of my 100. Got some practice. Empty magazine. So if you want to see the target, it's not very exciting, but here's my target. Could be worse, could be better.
