Mail Call - My Prize arrived today!

In this short YouTube live pop‑up, the host (Brooke Cheney) shares a "mail call" segment where she opens a package that contains a shiny skinny knife she won from the Hillbilly Up channel’s long‑running giveaway. She explains her limited online‑shopping habits, describes the knife’s features (color‑changing, clip‑on everyday‑carry), and references a previous win of a black skinny knife, highlighting that multiple wins are possible. The host then showcases a set of Hillbilly Up stickers, offers to send the two variants (shiny and flat) to the first two viewers who request them, and ties the giveaway to the channel’s "Make Someone's Day Better" ethos. Throughout, she interacts with community members (DJ, Pat Rack, Crabby Turtle, etc.) and mentions YouTube’s weapon‑handling policies, keeping the knife closed for safety. The segment also provides personal updates: she will attend her daughter’s high‑school volleyball game, notes the realities of running her own business (client scheduling), and mentions her husband’s birthday plans. Finally, she announces an upcoming prerecorded "Mental Health Matters" episode airing Saturday, the 15th at 9 PM Eastern, featuring guest Jonathan Berger, and gives details about its length and format. The overall tone is informal, enthusiastic, and community‑focused.

Here I am. So I'm not on StreamYard, so I was not able to put in that handy-dandy little intro that DM Foss made for me. So my bad. Anyway, hi everybody. As usual, my pop-up lives are really short, and maybe this one will go 5 minutes, maybe it'll go less, we don't know. All right, so mail call. It seems like most uh, channels kind of do this sort of thing. And to be fair, I don't normally get things in the mail, so I don't usually do a mail call thing, but it seems like I should do that today because I just got done with a lesson and there's packages on my front porch. And normally I expect them to be addressed to my husband because honestly he buys way more stuff online than I do because I just don't buy stuff online very well. I buy things I just don't pay attention to. Hey DJ, um, I, I don't know, I can't measure things, and, and I buy stuff online and I get it and I'm usually wrong. So I'm, I'm an in-person shopper for sure. So anyway, I just finished a lesson with one of my new students, and there's stuff on the front porch. So I go and there's two boxes. One of them I did order, so I did know it was for me, but then there's a smaller littler one on top of the big box. And I'm like, huh, what did I order that I forgot? Because this is the other reason why I do not, uh, shop online, because I forget that I've ordered stuff or what I've ordered, all of that. But lo and behold, I bring my packages to the kitchen table, I go get the scissors, and I open up the box, and then in the box is something that I won. What did I win, you ask? I won a shiny new knife. Where did I win it, you ask? Oh, I won that on Hillbilly's channel, which in the description I put a link there if you'd like to go check it out. Or at least I did the @Hillbilly, so I think it will bring you to the channel. I don't know. And DJ is here. DJ is my hand, maybe that way. I'm not sure, um, because I don't know what y'all see, because when I do this, I'm pointing at the chat. When I do this, I'm pointing at the edge of my screen. So I'm not sure. Um, so anywho, so I got a new shiny knife and it's really shiny and I'm not going to open it because Facebook is so weird. Um, hey, Pat Rack, Pack Rat Attic. See, if I don't look at it, then I can say it. If I look at it, I always want to say Pat's Rack for some reason. Um, so, uh, yeah, because I don't know TOS on lives, so I'm just going to show it closed because, you know, there's all this thing about handling weaponry on lives and that sort of thing. So pretty and, and, and, and colorful and changes color and all of those things. So this is my new everyday carry. Uh, I love it because it's got the little clip on there, and so it can clip onto things whether it's, you know, a pocket or papers or anything like that. Now here's the other fun part. So I got this and then it occurred to me, well, I am partial to that sort of thing, so that's why I already had this one. Um, this one's a lot bigger than this one, so this will be a lot easier to do a sort of everyday carry because it's light and it's easy and it's pretty because I like shiny things and I like rainbowy things. This one is definitely more of in the office, more so than not. But it's been a long time since I've won a prize, and it's always fun winning prizes. So if you too want to win a prize, my suggestion is you can stay up late at night. Okay, thank you, DJ. So DJ tells me you can handle edge weapons in a live only in a safe manner according to YouTube. So who knows what that means exactly. So closed is definitely safe because I'm not going to cut myself or anybody else. Um, so over on Hillbilly's channel, this has been going on for a long time, but this is the skinny knife giveaway. And at the end of pretty much all of his Saturday nights, there's always a skinny knife giveaway. And it's been going on since he started his channel, as far as I know. And this is the one that I just won. Now remember I said I hadn't won anything in a while? Well, last time I won something was also on the Hillbilly channel. And guess what I want? I won the skinny black knife. So I now have a set of skinny black knives. So my Friday night sparkly ones that go with my hat, right? And then my— I'm trying to be a little more incognito, perhaps a little tuxedo-ish. So I have my flat black. So, you know, I'm not trying to get attention, we'll go flat black. If we want to be sparkly, then we're going to go lovely rainbow colors. So, uh, I've not won just one but two of the Skinny Knife giveaways, which is always fun. It's a crabby turtle with a pink hand waving for me. Nice to see you, sir. Um, so yeah, and so you can win more than once on Hillbilly's channel is also what I'm saying. So I don't know how well these are going to show up, but this is one of my favorite stickers. And it's like one of those things, if I get close enough, maybe— oh, there it is! Oh, sort of. It's hard to read, but anyway, uh, Hillbilly Up. And if I turn it so you can read it— nope, that's just gonna get— this is all gonna be Blair Witch-ish. But, um, I have lovely fancy of these things. These are called stickers. Words are hard some days. So, um, Are you allowed to do midweek daytime chats? No, DM Foss, I am not. This is— I'm not quarking anyone as far as I know because I don't know anyone's schedule, but I'm sure if I'm quarking G Webs, then he will let me know. Um, so I have this sticker over here. This is the shiny fancy one versus the flat one, and when I say flat, I just mean not as shiny. Um, so I have a bunch of these. So since I just won, won a giveaway and I got a knife If anybody wants a Make Someone's Day Better, you can email me and send me your address, and I will send you either the shiny one— wait, the shiny one, everything being backwards is hard— um, the shiny fancy one or the flat one. These definitely feel like quality stickers, and, um, Make Someone's Day Better is a, uh lesson and thought that we want to spread all over the world. So I will happily send these to anyone who wants one. Now, this is a limited time offer in that I have two. I have the shiny one, shiny one, and I have the non-shiny one. So first two people to ask for one or the other, and if whoever asks for which one first will get it. Now, I do have one more, and it is the actual Guns, Beer, and Therapy. But I think I need to put it about somewhere here so that, you know, we get the Guns, Beer, and Therapy in the background here. So we will have to see. Now, as far as midweek— yes, it's Wednesday. Uh, am I allowed to? Apparently I am because it's YouTube and it's internet, and for the most part it's still free, um, as far as whoever Yeah, nothing is free. We know nothing is free, right? So, oh, wait a second, Crabby Turtle put up a regular hand. He is not a pink hand waving. I'm not sure if I can handle that midweek DM. What do you think? So, um, yeah, so those of you looking at the chat replay, which I did make it so you can actually see that when you are watching the replay, so there is that. All right. That was kind of it. It's been 7 minutes, almost 8 whole minutes. I said 5 at the beginning of this, and those of you who know these things, I am very hard to keep on track. So, um, like I said, yay, my new prize from Hillbilly Up's channel. I stayed up late at night to win said, uh, uh, prize, and so I wasn't expecting it, and it was fun because it is really a random draw. And yet it's been a year or two, or maybe three, since, uh, I got my Skinny Black Knife, so I don't feel like I've won too much. And because I don't play that often, so there's also that. But, uh, yeah, so shout out to Hillbilly Up and his— any props? Props are always fun. Guns, Beer, and Therapy, uh, show on his Hillbilly Up channel. Wait, I'm gonna do the flat one because, yeah that doesn't shine as much. And everyone should take some time and do what they can to make someone's day better. And now I am off to the volleyball courts to go play with my daughter for one last time with her team as a— see, yes, the spats, the hat is super sparkly. It's actually really funny when I'm outside it sparkles onto it. Like, it like radiates sparkle because I'll walk up to my students' targets and we'll be there and, and the sparkles will be dancing all over the target. So yeah, outside it's even more sparkly than it is in here. All right, let's see this way. Oh yeah, better. Okay, so super amount. So yes, I'm gonna have fun with my daughter in our last, last high school volleyball. Hurrah! Which I'm actually going to miss most of it, but my husband will be there because I have to work tonight. Because as much as people think owning your own business means you make your own schedule, that is not actually how owning your own business works, because you have clients and you have to take care of your clients. And these clients were gracious enough to move from last week to this week so that I could see her last volleyball game, not knowing that they were going to have their senior send-off tonight. So Thank you, Crabby Turtle. Yes, I radiate too. Ask my husband and my children, they'll tell you different things. But anyway, you guys have a lovely, spectacular day. Make someone's day better. Smile a little bit brighter and maybe check out Hillbilly's thing right after. What is it, DJ? Oh yeah, Mental Health Matters on Saturday night here on this channel, 9 PM Eastern, in case you didn't know. So yeah. There you go. All right, my friends, it was lovely to pop on midweek in the middle of the day to say hi. And DM Foss, shouldn't you be sleeping actually? Because it's early there. And, or did you just finish work? I don't know. I try not to keep track of everyone's schedule. DJ, just so you know, Saturday night. Oh yeah. Before I go, Saturday night is prerecorded. I did talk to Barbecue. So Jonathan Berger is going to be my interviewee-ish. We have a chat ready for you guys. On Saturday night the 15th. And what else? There'll be an announcement sometime today, actually. I think it's supposed to pop up. We'll see if that worked out because techie things and me, not so much. And prepare, it is not 10 minutes, it is not 15, it's not even 30. And for those of you want to share out to G2, 3, it's actually like almost a whole 45 minutes long. So there is that. So I will not see you necessarily Saturday night. We're going to be at the movies because of my husband's birthday. And, um, but enjoy the show. Thanks so much, and I will talk to you guys all later. I gotta hit the end thing twice, not once. All right, everybody, or good afternoon, or goodbye, or good morning, whatever.
