Brooke Cheney, a mother of two toddlers in a home with firearms, sought gun training to keep her family safe. She competed and trained until she felt confident handling guns, then opened A Great Start Shooting School to teach others to do the same.
Imagine if you will a house full of guns, and then there are children in the house running around. What would you do? As a mom of two small toddlers, I realized I needed to find a way to make sure myself and my children were safe in our own home. So I decided to get education. I started going to competitions. I started going to training. And I learned because there was nothing more important to me than my family's safety. I love knowing how to control and handle a firearm. It gives me great confidence, and once I had that confidence, I then desired to share it with others, and that is why I opened A Great Start Shooting School.
