In this brief YouTube announcement recorded on Thursday, June 22, 2023, the speaker promotes a free "Train a Teacher Day" training event scheduled for Saturday, June 24, 2023. The event targets teachers, bus drivers, school volunteers, and Boy Scout helpers. It consists of two sessions: an NRA Basics of Handgun/Gun Safety class from 9 AM to 12 PM and a USCCA Personal Protection (situational‑awareness) mini‑class from 2 PM to 5 PM. Registration requires a $25 fee, which is refunded to teachers or volunteers who attend; non‑teachers can still attend for the same fee. Only six seats are available, and the speaker urges viewers to share the registration links (provided in the video description and on Facebook) with relevant community groups. Throughout the video, the speaker interacts with live commenters (DJ, Tara, Mike) and emphasizes the low cost, the value of the training, and the goal of reaching as many educators and child‑care professionals as possible.

Ta-da! For a moment, my internet was very, very slow. All right, this is gonna be really short. I always say that and I say bye 5 times and then it becomes much longer than it needs to be. But here's the deal. Today is Thursday, June 22nd, 2023. So this weekend I'm doing my Train a Teacher Day, which is free training for those of you who are teachers, bus drivers, work in our schools, volunteer with our Boy Scouts, whatever it actually is. Wow, you guys are super fast, man. I think you must— hi DJ, hi Tara. Um, and, uh, so this Saturday, which is only 2 days from right now, I am doing my Train a Teacher classes and I have to read what they are. I have the USCCA mini class, which is going to run 2 to 5 PM on Saturday. And then I also have an NRA basics of handgun or basics of gun safety in the morning from 9 to noon. And here's how this works. There's links in the description, whichever you're on YouTube, wait, Facebook or YouTube, or yeah, Facebook has it above, YouTube has it below. So, um, here's the deal. When you sign up, it costs $25. If you are a teacher or volunteer or one of those types of people, then you'll get your $25 back when, when you show up. And then, oh, look at him. He's DJ. So DJ, for those of you on the YouTube side, DJ is commenting. If you are on the Facebook side, the link is in the description for real. So I have 2 people in the morning and I have 2 people in the afternoon and I would love to fill the classes. I have 6 seats available total. And whether you are a teacher or not, the only difference is you can still come for $25, just you're not gonna get your $25 back. But that's okay because this is super inexpensive training and it is situation awareness. Like the afternoon one, the protection plan talks about how to not look like a victim, things that you may or may not have thought about in general. One trying to stay safe. If you have never touched a gun, if you're curious about guns, if you think you know stuff about guns but you're not sure if you know stuff about guns and safety handling and storage and that sort of thing, the morning event would probably be for you. So that's what I have. I know I want to make this super short, but I don't know if 2 minutes— see, I should have made it a minute according to the, the gods at YouTube. But anyway, That is it. Please share this. I would really love to train as many teachers for free as I can this weekend. However, I'm also not opposed to just getting people training super cheap because $25 for 3 hours is a good deal, I promise you, and we'll have a good time. So take this, share it with your friends, like it, do something. Find a teacher's group and see if there's somebody or bus drivers people who work with our kids. That's who we are trying to reach on the National Find a Teacher Day. All right, DJ, Tara, thanks for popping in. You guys are super fast, and I will see you tomorrow night— no, tomorrow night, Saturday for Suzette Friends Saturday. And I'll get to tell you all how many people I actually got to teach on Teacher's Day, which is Saturday, June 24th, for a great start. Yeah, uh, don't be the little gun that could. I think I know, I think I know, I think I know. Get in the know now. Absolutely. Uh, couldn't be cheaper, for real. Oh, it's Mike White! Hi, dude. I was just about to sign off and this is why I started and said, I'm gonna be super short. But Mike, I gotta say this because you might know people to share this with. I'm just going to reiterate, this Saturday, Train a Teacher Day. In the morning, gun safety. In the afternoon, situational awareness. More stuff free for teachers, bus drivers, people who work with our children. Learn, and other people can just show up for free. So share this. That's what I'm going to tell Mike to do. Yeah. So anyway, I know you're not in the same state, but you might know teachers in Connecticut. I don't know. For real.
