Oh, and then playing with things. All right, so I am live now. I have DJ with me. Say hi, DJ. Oh, you muted yourself, but you can unmute yourself. Fix that problem. Um, all right, so there's like a little bit of confusion because I, uh, sent out my newsletter yesterday and I said it was gonna be at 7:30, not— or no, I said it was gonna be 7, but then I put the StreamYard up for 7:30. So hopefully those people who are the students who left me, um, the reviews. So let's see, let's see if I can do this. All right, so here is the, the table of stuff. Ta-da! Um, and why are we doing this? Oh, because this is a giveaway, because August is birthday month. And this is my microphone, but it's also gonna be the camera so we can go pick stuff out when— if people are here. Um, but August was birthday month, and so in my email I'm like, it's my birthday, I want to give you stuff away. So I asked all my students who, um, have been here to go to Google and leave me a review. So yeah, I'm gonna get good at this. So here are all the lovely folks who went to Google and left me reviews. And I just realized I wanted to show you guys another thing, so give me just a second because, you know, live is always so much fun, as Gwebs was just talking about today, um, that, you know, live makes things a little bit more real as far as we don't necessarily get everything done the way we expect it to. So I thought it would be kind of cool to read some of these reviews, um, before we actually do the drawing, in hopes that maybe, just maybe, some of these folks will actually get to, um, whatever, actually pick out their stuff. Because trying to share— oh wow, see, this is the one in my hand. Make you really Blair Witch-like. Ready? Um, that's not what I meant to do. Oh please, I'll figure this out, I swear I will. I want to share screen. I want to do entire screen. I want to do the other screen. Maybe this will work now. Ta-da! All right, so I got 30 reviews. In the most recent one— oh, this is very tiny. Hold please. I know people like DJ can't even see this stuff. All right, so I just— I'm gonna go with my newest because that'll show who just did the reviews. So here are the reviews, and these are the reviewers who are winning stuff tonight. Oh, barbecue is here, so I can start now. I am starting barbecue. I am. And, uh, well, but Mike White beat you here, and he's already on the West Coast, so I'm not sure if that counts. And G Web's got to be the first one, uh, to do— give a thumbs up. So barbecue, I'm afraid you are not number 1 today as far as giving guns— guns up— thumbs up. All right, so here are some of my reviews that I got, and this is why I'm doing the giveaway. Paul said, very detailed training, wife and daughter felt comfortable and relaxed. Robert said, quality instruction from quality instructors, great combination to get great results. So, oh yeah, I got to give a shout out to my man. Um, I have an assistant instructor who helps me with some of my classes, and so that's what he's talking about, um, from quality instructors. So yes, as much as I am the main instructor here at Great Start Shooting School, I'm not the only instructor because I have what I call my baby instructors, the ones who took my instructor class. Elizabeth has been— Brooke has been amazing to work with. I'm a new gun owner and she's helped me feel more confident and comfortable with my firearm. During our session, she has taken the time to provide feedback on my stance and firm— I think she meant to write grip. I have a feeling that was an autocorrect, which has helped improve my accuracy. I can't wait to go back. Mr. Bogan, he's been a lot, um, he's been a student for a long time and then he became an instructor. So I have taken numerous lessons from Brooke. Thanks to her, I feel that I can safely handle a firearm. Enjoy my time at the range. She provides a wide range of lessons for shooters from beginner to advanced skills in teaching. There's no question that with her, safety comes first, as it should. So yeah, so Peter came to me as a brand new permit holder. We did basic training with him and then we also did Find Your Perfect Gun, and then he is one of the instructors here now because he he also did. Sorry, unfortunately I'm like, oh, what squirrel? So Barbecue with, oh, what a rip, pay for Brooke Cheney, get baby Brooke, gasp. Well, no, they're not baby Brooks. They're just different flavors of instructors who've been taught by me. So it still works out. Let's see who else. Bridget, excellent instructor, takes time to make sure you are comfortable. Sometimes you wait your turn to shoot in the company of chairman of the board. So, yeah, she brought, she brought friends when she came. Excellent instructor, highly intuitive to a student's level of readiness to learn and provides exceptional guidance. And Chelsea, Brooke is a wonderful instructor. Her patience and hands-on training helped me relax and feel confident, and I had little to no experience going into class. I will certainly be coming back for more classes. We're almost done. Nick. And I need a classifier for upcoming IDPA state match, and Brooke worked with my schedule to fit me in. She even took the time to give me some advice on my draw. I'd recommend Brooke to any level shooter. All right, so here's the deal with Nick. I have to say this, um, I sent my newsletter out at 9:57 PM on like a Saturday night or a Friday night At 10:08 PM. So not— well, yeah, a whole 11 minutes after I sent my email newsletter out in order to get these reviews, Nick was the first one to go. So because Nick was the first one to go, he gets a special prize. Um, I couldn't believe that I hadn't even finished like cleaning up for the night and I already saw a new review and I saw his email. So I'm like, dude, I haven't even created a bucket for prizes yet. So what do you want? So he wanted a brass bag. So Nick is in the drawing for tonight, but he's already got the brass bag for being number 1, and in barely 10 minutes, 11 minutes response from when I sent out the email. So that is that. So, uh, Nick is our first winner for tonight. He is, um, this is, this is his— is a brass bag. For those of you who don't shoot revolvers or you don't pick up your own brass, you don't care about this. Nick does, he cares, so that's what he's getting. And it's a Competitive Edge Dynamics, and I'll bring stuff up because people always say, oh, what is that? So, um, that is the first prize that I get to give away today. Hello, Vanessa Kitty. Um, thank you for joining us. All right, so since G23 is at work right now, but he did teach me how to, uh, do these fancy wheel thingy. So here we go. Are y'all ready? Yes, congrats to Nick for sure. Now let's see if he gets to go again. Well, he will, because we're going to go until this wheel is empty. All right, so Chelsea gets the first pick. All right, so now here is the plan. We're going to remove Chelsea, but here's what she's going to get. Hold on, I'm going to try to do my, my hand cam thing. Okay, so Chelsea's first gift is the bag that we got from National Shooting Sports. She's getting this awesome insulated bag. And these things— when I say awesome, like, I don't like many of my bags, but this is like, it's big and it's, it's like you can put 5 gallons, maybe 6 gallons of ice cream in here. So this is an awesome bag. So that is Chelsea's first prize. Then I have to guess, you guys want to help me? Um, Let's see, I think I'm going to give everybody a Walk the Talk America band because I think I've got enough for those. All right, so that's going in Chelsea's bag. What else? We're gonna go de-lead wipes because who doesn't want some of those for after you're done shooting? And I definitely want you guys to see all this stuff because you know what, most of the stuff I won or they're from sponsors So that's going in her bag. We're going to make a pile of goodies for each person, and hopefully y'all won't get dizzy from me moving this camera around. Hat. All right, ready? We're going to go very fancy. Eeny meeny miny moe, catch a tiger by the toe. If it hollers, let him go. Out goes Y-O-U. All right, Chelsea's gonna get a Ruger hat. There it is. And Ruger is one of our big sponsors, and that's why I have this shirt out here. Because Ruger is a major sponsor here in New England for us. And without them, we couldn't do all the sporting stuff that we do. All right. Oh my gosh, I really need to change.
Here, maybe have a technical difficulty.
Hold on, let me put this on do not disturb. I don't even know if you can— you hear me now?
Oh yes ma'am.
Oh good.
Oh, I want to let you know that the Krabby Turtle, another East Coast Atlantic-bound, uh, enthusiast, is out there in the crowd. Good to see you.
Excellent, thank you very much, DJ. All right, we got one down. I, I said I was supposed to remove that one. No, that was all right, that was Chelsea's bag. All right, while that is spinning I'm going to put Chelsea's bag over this side and we're going to start the next one. 4 is going to be Bridget. Oh, it is Bridget. All right. So I'm going to remember to remove Bridget and we're going to go over here and grab stuff. I'm not going to make it—
And unfortunately we can't hear you again. And as you figure out which of the controls it is, I will bring this up on your screen and tell you that Mike White is out there saying, next will be one potato, two potato, three potato, four. There you are. Good to have you back.
Really? Okay. Because it said I lost connection on my phone, so maybe this was the wrong way to do the microphone thing. All right, this is Elizabeth's pile of stuff. So as I said before, we're starting with a bag. Then what shall she get? I think she's going to get a deer sticker. And eeny meeny miny moe, anybody, uh, what kind of hat? Black, gray, gray, white? Um, I feel like I should give everyone the same one because then no one will get mad at me. What do y'all think?
You said everyone, uh, does that include their co-host? Because those Ruger hats are fly. I like it.
Are you, are you wanting one of these, DJ?
Oh, you pushing it up closer to the camera. You're whetting my appetite. Those are, those are fancy, and it's good to know that they're, uh, supportive of you, your efforts, and others in the shooting sports.
Oh, absolutely. We would not have the matches that we have, like the match I just went to, the match I'm going to be volunteering at in 2 weeks. We would not have all of those available to us if it were not for them. All right, Walk the Talk America bracelet. Also, de-lead wipes because, you know, after shooting guns or cleaning guns, we want to keep our hands clean. What else? What else? Let's see. I think, I think Elizabeth would like a flag sticker because it's from— ready for y'all? It's the Second Amendment Foundation membership application. Um, so how fun is that, to give her a sticker and the opportunity to be part of the 2A community? All right, there's one more down. Here we go. Um, oh yeah, I gotta show you the screen, right? That's what makes it all official, like, show you the screen, show you the screen. Okay, oops, and then I hit the wrong button. Hold, please. And that was weird. Wow, this is way harder than I thought. This is way harder than I expected. Ta-da, I hit the wrong thing and poof, there it goes. All right. Okay, Paul, as we know— oh wait, y'all want to see this. Yay, Paul! I'm going to click on remove, otherwise we're going to be here for a really long time. All right, and you know what's going to happen is at the end of this I'm going to have to go back and see who got what because I'm not writing any of this stuff down. I'm just making piles of stuff. All right, here we go. Paul gets a bag because NSSF was nice enough to donate all of these for Shooting— August as the National Shooting Sports Month. So that is why they're all getting a bag, or at least I hope so. I don't know, I might run out. The people who get picked last may not get one. Uh, we're gonna go with a shotgun sticker for Paul. And who else? Uh, Walk the Talk America. And I might run out. All right, but we'll see what happens. And I don't know, I'm kind of leaning towards the National Shooting Sports, so he's got a matching set. I'm gonna go with National Shooting Sports for Paul. And what else? How about— oh, so many choices. I don't know, guys, what do you think? Should we go for one of the t-shirts? I need y'all to vote. I don't know what size Paul is, but my t-shirts that I have are— and why won't I— can't see this. All right, ready? Hold on. See if I cannot drop y'all. All right, this way, this way is better. All right guys, I want your— those of you in the audience, shall we give Paul the Aiming for Zero Active Hero shirt, or should we give him You Can't Buy Happiness But You Can Buy Ammo? And that's the same thing, kind of the same thing. All right, so what do y'all think? One potato, two potato. Well, I know Mike, I could do that. I'm not All right, ready? If you like the ammo shirt, say 1, and if you like the Aiming for Zero shirt, say 2. All right, you got 30 seconds, otherwise I'm gonna go eeny meeny miny moe, or 1 potato, 2 potato, 3 potato, 4.
So go ahead and get those out. We gotta need a number 1 in the chat for the one on the left, need number 2 for the one on the right. Got the crabby turtle out front. First vote in is for number 1. Got Mike White out there with number 2, so it's split right now. Need somebody to tip that scale.
All right, just Barbecue, you always got an opinion. Let's go. We'll make Barbecue the, uh, or Vanessa Kitty. One of you guys pick 1 or 2. Pick her 1 or 2. Oh man, I'm gonna have to do one potato, two potato at this point. All right, I'm gonna go 1, 2, 3. I'm gonna go for aiming for, or the We're gonna go for the Happiness is Ammo. And this is— sorry, I don't mean to make y'all— this is grunt style. I don't know how— like, it's hard for me to show you all this. That's why I thought I would try to do this. But, um, this is another one of those things. I bought this shirt and I just think it's awesome, and I certainly hope that Paul will also think it is awesome. All right, how do I switch screens without making y'all dizzy? See, now we'll just go Nuddy. Oh, DJ, you have the skills, you have the ability. I just say it and you make it happen. I forgot how good you are.
I got the power. Wow, that's late '80s.
I got that in one of my playlists. I know you don't respect me any longer for that, but I do. All right, back to our handy dandy screen. So I removed Paul. I'm gonna show y'all the thingy again. We only got like 6 more, guys. We'll be done in like 30 minutes or less, I swear. Okie dokies. All right, TSW sounds like gunshot wound, but that's not really what it stands for. Um, and because my students come to me and I really do, uh, treat them like as if you came to the doctor, because whether you have a firearm or not is not anyone else's business. So I don't put people's full names out because they— their names are on Google and they put stuff. So I only put up their names regarding that.
All right, hey Brooke, I'm bringing something to your screen. You gotta check this out. Gun Websites is being really helpful out there. He gave you the compilation of Paul's winnings, and I imagine he will do so for the remainder. So that kind of cuts down the, the work effort you'll have to put in to make sure everybody gets the right stuff. Thanks for that, Gun on websites.
Oh, look at that. That— wow. You know, it's good to have people who are smarter and more detail-oriented than I am. All right, so since we haven't done one of these yet, we're gonna go with the, the turkey, uh, sticker. And what else? Oh yeah, a friend of mine, uh, shot for Heckler Koch, so I've got some Heckler Koch stickers. And VP9s were fun. And of course we got the Walk the Talk America stuff, and I'm just gonna randomly grab something. Grab this one. All right, so he's got the light gray, uh, hat. So it's still a Ruger hat, it just is a different color.
Fancy. I like that colorway, black against gray when it's the right charcoal gray going. Yeah, I dig that. And the red ones, nice price.
Yeah, yeah, it's, uh, many— like I said, Ruger is like our number one sponsor here in, um, in, in New England. So, all right, what I'm gonna— oh, you know what, one more sticker because everybody likes stickers, right? That's what G-Web sells me. So it's gonna get the gun vote sticker. And again, I'm pretty sure these were sponsored by NSSF. So one more pile in the pile of stuff to go. All right, clicking on the remove button. I'm gonna share that screen again. Yes, I'm so excited. I'm going to click the right part, not the wrong part. Who do we got next? Hannah or Roger? Hannah or Roger? And right at the edge, Hannah. All right, so I got, I got plans for Hannah. Oops, dude, you did it. And I, for— I will keep my hands off the mouse, you keep pushing the buttons then. Um, I'm just gonna do the remove thing. All right, so Hannah is, um, I'm gonna, I'm gonna— all right, DJ, go to the hand cam. Thank you, sir. All right, so Hannah, I already know she is going to get the I-CORE stuff because Hannah is a revolver shooter. She came to me again with the Find Your Perfect Gun class, and she was very frustrated with how much the guys were all like I want, you know, they wanted her to have a semi-automatic, semi-automatic, and I am not a snob revolver versus semi-automatic. So I let her try some of my husband's I Corps guns. And yes, they're big, they're lovely competition guns, but she loves revolvers. So for those who don't know, let's see if this is a little bit better. I can't read it. International Confederation of Revolver Enthusiasts is what I Corps stands for.
Interesting. I was not aware of that organization. And that is cool hat. Look at that revolver cylinder bold in the middle.
Like, I dig that. Yep. And so she— and so now I also hooked her up with some SAS shooters. And for those who don't know what SAS is, it is, um, oh my goodness, uh, Cowboy Action Shooting. So I don't know about how many of y'all know about Charter Arms. But Charter Arms is right here in Connecticut, and guess what? It's a revolver manufacturer. So Hannah's gonna get all the revolver stuff I got because I know she loves revolvers, she loves the way they look, all of that. So she's getting a sticker and she's getting a mug.
So that—
what is it on that mug? So it says Charter Arms American Firearms. Oh, but wait, here, I'll tell you a little bit more. So it's 100% American-made quality revolver since 1964. And they're literally right down the road. Um, you know, especially for those who live in big states, Connecticut's a really tiny state, but, um, it is— they— oh wait, I have a dummy gun. Let me, let me show you my little Charter Arms dummy gun, and hopefully I won't get in trouble because none of it's not a working gun. But this is a Charter Arms Pink Lady. So, never heard of revolver shooters? Very funny, Mike. Actually, um, they have a huge thing in, um, in California. There's, uh, in like 3 weeks at the end of the month. So anyway, here's a Charter Arms, the Chic Lady, in.38 Special. And that is not the kind of gun that she likes to shoot. She likes to shoot a full size. But all right, so bring it back to the regular screen there, buddy. So that is— we got all the revolver stuff. All right, so you got it, DJ, so people don't have the blur. There you go. So, all right, so she got that. Oh, we're getting closer, we're getting closer. All right, DJ, you want to bring up the wheel? I'll spin the wheel because we've only got 5 left to go. All right, so yeah, all of these prizes are just because I've got I wanted people to help me with birthday month. And Robert, there is no question that Robert is getting all of these things, or, you know, that was definitely on Robert. So I'm clicking on remove. Robert goes. We've only got 4 left. Uh-oh. Oh no. All right, so Robert is going to be the last one who gets a bag. Um, so Robert's getting a bag. We're gonna give Robert a different Heckler and Koch sticker. This is the big, um, uh, whatever this is called, red and red outline one. We'll go with a shotgun sticker for Robert and a Tandem Cross. Now Tandem Cross actually also, um, volunt— uh, they, they support us a lot with our competitions. We're gonna go with another Walk the Talk America band. And let's see, hmm, I am pretty sure he has centerfire, so we're gonna go with.357, 9mm. I'm gonna check in with him before I send it to him, but I'm gonna give him some bore cleaning tips. And if I'm gonna give him stuff to clean his gun with, I should totally add in some De-lead wipes for that. All right, DJ, all you choose. What hat are we gonna go for?
I am really fond of that red over black.
Okay. Ta-da! For those of you just joining us, this is the red over black. So, all right. We have 4 left. So making that pile over there. Oh, DJ's got it all. Oh, thank goodness you showed up, dude. Just like, all right, we're gonna click, make that thingy spin, and it's gonna be Elizabeth. Full show. All right, I'm gonna click on the button that says remove, and we're almost done giving away stuff. No, seriously, I know some of you guys do giveaways all the time. This is like my first ever giveaway. And I'm having tons of fun.
Oh, it is a ton of fun. This is like— and these, the winners, you're being so generous, you know. It's like sticker plus a hat plus this, and, uh, for such a simple thing. And I'm glad that you're using different methods to get the word out about your business. And I want to remind everybody, um, in your— in her state or the ones surrounding it, um, A Great Start Shooting School, it's a good place to check out.
I, I like it. I like it. All right, so who do we got? Who's this for? I already forgot. G-Webs is staying on top of all this, so I got that going for me. All right, I think it was Hannah because I removed it already. All right, let's go to the hand cam, DJ, see what we got left here. All right, so we've got Shoot and See, uh, whatever these are, targets, um, stickers, DLED wipes, dead bugs, all sorts of fun stuff. All right, so I know, I think she will enjoy this sticker. The owner of this property is armed and prepared to protect life, liberty, and the property from criminal attack. There is nothing inside worth risking your life for. And guess what? It's another Second Amendment membership application, um, just because we can't have too many people supporting too many of our 2A-supported things. Now here's my challenge. I am not sure what size Hannah is, but she is the last girl on the list, so I'm gonna go for the t-shirt. And just simply has a picture of a lady with a shotgun and her dog, and it says, "Never depend on, depend on a man for protection." And this is going to be another one of our Which one is this? This is Operation Company Companion. So I do try to support, um, whatever they're called, Veteran, um, Soldier Solutions. That's who this is from. So she's gonna get that shirt. Voilà. All right, DJ, that's it for that one. We'll go back to the wheel, I guess. Makes sense to spin you all around my, uh, whatever my thing is, my office. There we go. I got words, I got words. All right, I hope you guys are having fun. I'm having fun. I've never given all this stuff away before. It's so much fun. All right, 3 left, 3 left. And, and, oh, it's going for Peter. Yeah, when we've only got 3 left, it's pretty easy. All right, so Peter is gonna get— what's he gonna get? You know what Peter's gonna get? He's going to get the crossbreed bag because I love what it says here. I pledge to uphold the Second Amendment and I cherish the freedoms bestowed upon me as an American. I will use this crossbreed holster to help me protect those precious freedoms. I pray that no harm befalls my country or my family, but if faced with evil, I will have the courage to stand against it. I will allow no harm to come to myself or my loved ones. God bless. Now Peter does not have a crossbreed holster that I'm aware of, but I know that he will appreciate that. Um, we're gonna go with— because he's here in Connecticut, well, like all my students are mostly— um, definitely gonna go with the Charter Arms. And we talked about Ruger being such an awesome, uh, awesome sponsor. I actually have probably enough of these to put one in everybody's, uh, bag. Now let's see, that's that. I know, you know what, he's gonna get the targets because I know Peter. And you know what, Peter goes shooting every single week, so Peter's getting the Shoot and See targets. All right, DJ, we're gonna go back to the wheel again. We're almost done, 50% of the way there. All right, everybody, I feel like we should do a drum roll, but no, I'm just gonna throw stuff on the ground apparently. All right, it's Roger! Yay, let's go Roger! Okay, well, I don't think I have to remove anymore because, you know, we've only got Nick left and he got the best prize because he got to pick his prize. All right, Roger's gonna get one of these. And one of these. Oh, sorry, I'm tilting the wrong way. And I will take these off. One of those. And we're gonna go with two of those. And oh yeah, and one of those. And one of these. And oh, I have a shirt left. Should we give away the shirt, DJ? Should we give away the shirt? What do you think? I think we shall. Aiming for Zero. For those of you who want to see the other side of it, here we go. Aiming for Zero. For those of you don't know, one veteran suicide is one too many. I'm actually— when is my next Aiming for Zero? Oh, there's an Aiming for Zero event here in Connecticut on September 16th. And unfortunately, I won't be there, but I am donating gift certificates to that. So now we have the Aiming for Zero shirt giveaway.
All right, you are like the swag queen with this stuff. You do have a full table for sure, and, and I am having a good time. It's weird to say like a good time hanging out giving away prizes, but it does. It perks you up. I'm glad to have this as part of my early evening.
Well, you know, it's like I don't even know what day we're in. Wednesday, aren't we? Yeah. Okay. Um, So yeah, so this is literally like years of going to things and collecting things and all of that. So this might be as big as I ever get, but it's still lots of fun. All right, so our final guy was our first guy, right? We just have Nick. Nick is the last one. And we do know that Nick already is getting his brass bag. And for those of you just joining us a little bit later, Um, because I did see some people come in, but Nick is getting the Competitive Edge Dynamics. Nick will also get a hat because why not? And maybe my co-host has to get a hat too, I'm not sure.
I think y'all in chat— jealousy exists for one of those hats, it certainly does.
Um, let's see, what else, what else, what else? Um, I think that's kind of going to be it. Oh, a D-Led wipe, because again, I— so here's the thing, a lot of the stuff that I have, I've won at raffles, because when we do an Aiming for Zero or a Veteran Suicide Prevention match, there's always raffles. So a lot of this stuff is all stuff that was bought and paid for by my raffle tickets and my luck. So that's how I can be so generous, because Honestly, I need to clean my office. I got too much stuff here. So with that— hey, Tactical Fudd! All right, DJ, I know I've missed some folks because I know I've seen here or there. Do you want to do one more, uh, roll call while we're all still here?
I'd be happy to do that. As you just said, Tactical Fudd has joined the conversation. Also here this evening, Gun Websites, uh, has been really helpful out there. Check this out, he's got Rogers everything there, so people in the replay will be able to check that out as well. Thank you for that, Gun Websites. We also have the Crabby Turtle has been out there this evening. Burnaby Sanchez is someone who was not mentioned, so Senor Sanchez, hola.
And I think that's who I saw that I didn't say before.
Yes, there you are. And Vanessa Kitty has been in the room also, good friend of mine. Guns and Barbecue. And you know what I'm surprised by, Brooke? Check out the entire, the entire chat, not one rigged #rigged shows up in every giveaway I've ever been to, and this one, yeah, is grand and that much more so because of that.
Right on. All right, well, I think, I think that yes, my, uh, my co-host has to get also assistance. So I'm gonna send you one of the— the— you're gonna get your hat and you're gonna get one of the Charter Arm stickers because, you know, that's from Connecticut. So it's like you get a little piece of Connecticut coming to you. So, um, yeah, I'll pop those in the mail to you sometime. Excellent.
Thank you very much. And yeah, Charter Arms, another one of my favorite manufacturers, and this was, you know, early days, is Iver Johnson. They spent— they began and spent many years, decades and decades of production right there where you are. And I have several of those, and there's someone out there in the crowd that I know now has um, a Charter Arms Bulldog.44, and I myself have one as well. Yeah, it's great to see that as part of it. And thank you so very, very much for that hat. I'll be able to sport that. That looks like evening wear to me. Now I've got a quick proposal here. You got 6 people out there in the chat. How about putting together something for the crowd that's out there?
All right, well, like, for like— so I got to put their names all in and, and do the spinny and, and then get one person for that?
Is that where you're trying to tell me to go? No, we'll be able to do it by this. Say right now, because there are 4 people live in the chat, at least the ones that I'm aware of, maybe a few over there on the Facebook side. How about you pick a number, write it down on a slip of paper, not on camera, a number between 1 and whatever you want. And then we allow the, uh, people out there in text chat to put their number guess in there. And the one that's closest without going over would be the winner.
What do you say? All right. All right, all right, then I will do that. All right, so yeah, like you, I see that there are 4 people watching, so I'll give—
that's a, you know, 25%, you know, woo!
That's great, I like that. I'm gonna go pick a number, but oh wait, I need to write it down so y'all don't know that I'm just like lying and messing around here.
So hold on, I gotta get a pen so I can show it to you. I'm glad— no, not yet, but, um, after the drawing. I'm glad that you're being that diligent because we're going to continue to be able to avoid hashtag rigged if you do it that way.
Thank you for Exactly. All right, so since there's 4 people, we're gonna pick a number between 1 and 24. All right, so G Web, Sack of Fudge, Mike, um, uh, Barbecue if you're still out there, Vanessa Kitty, um, wait, there was, there's a cowboy or somebody, Burnaby Sanchez, Mr. Sanchez. I can say Sanchez, I can't say the first name.
How do you say that first name?
Burnaby.
So here's the deal. Guns of Barbecue had to break it. The man's got jokes constantly. And he's also got the first— and he's also got the first guest out there. Want to, uh, show on your screen that number 19 has been chosen by Guns of Barbecue. Uh, but chat, let's get those entries in, and otherwise he's gonna sweep it. Check it out, Mike White is out there with his guest as well. So we got a couple of respondents now. It's a 50% chance, right, Barbecue? He's the math man.
Like, right up there with the 9s. Okay, all right. And yeah, we're gonna do Price is Right, like closest without going over. So, uh, yeah, it's a matter of— is G-Webs— G-Webs, come up with a number, man. I know you send out stuff to people all the time, so maybe I could send stuff to you. So the, the number is between 1 and 24, and I wrote it, and now y'all get to figure out what it might be. Closest without going over.
All right, um, we got a little bit more humor as we close out the clock for people to enter. Um, last call, y'all, put your numbers in there. And I'm going to bring this to your screen, Brooke. On website saying this whole thing could have easily been prearranged. I know a scam when I see one. And he continues with it. Here comes the cavalcade of, uh, rib pokers. 23.75 is where he's going. Are we allowing decimal points?
Well, we said without going over, so he couldn't choose 25. So if it is 24, then he's chosen without going over. So there's that.
That's all right. In up there where there is no more headroom. Nice to go to the 24. That's an interesting strategy. I think those two— I think also, uh, going with the number 1 or 2, going low kind of thing. Yeah, go high-low and sometimes it'll pay off. So we got 23.75, we got Mike White with 9, we got Guns and Barbecue with 19. You want to show us that number?
All right, on the phone call today that she prearranged with Mike White. Oh, wait a second. See, I wish I'd showed this to you beforehand because Mike White is actually the winner because he didn't go over. Barbecue was the closest at 19, but Mike White wins for not going over. All right, so that's what it is, 18. There you go. So congratulations, Mike White. I don't have your contact info, so you're gonna have to send it to me.
Um, go ahead and let him know what that email address is, or we can just refer them out to the website.
All right. Um, no, definitely the email address. It's just going to be Brooke, B-R-O-O-K-E, at A-G, and then 3 S's, sss.com. Um, hold on, let's see, because this is what I get for having this be my mic. I'm like, I'm one-handed here, man. All right, all right. So Mike White, you're gonna email me at— did that work? Did it work? Yes. Oh, so Barbecue, for those of you who are watching who don't know, and Barbecue says I can't see the number, that would be because Barbecue is legally blind, so he really can't see the number. So, uh, all right, so there you have it. All right, well, congratulations, Mike White. Congratulations to all my awesome students that took the time to go to Google. And, um, like I said, I've never done this before. I don't know if I'm ever gonna do it again, but I said the same thing about Suicide Prevention Saturday, and that was 2019. So this might happen again after another lovely competition season because we are at the end So that was a lot longer than I expected. So DJ, I miss anybody? Gotta say anything to anybody else?
What's up? Uh, we hit the roll call, so everyone has been included, and I'm glad that everyone stopped by for this giveaway. This is a good time, Brooke. Thank you for hosting, and thank you for that, the generosity that you're showing.
No problem. And you, Ebs, thanks for keeping me all together so that I can know who I'm giving what to. All right guys, I will see you Saturday night for Suicide Prevention Saturday. Uh, G-Webs was actually sweet enough to be talking. Oh, Crabby Turtle! Crabby Turtle, you forgot to give us a number. And now Woods. Woods was driving, so he couldn't give us a number. Oh, you know what, DJ? This has been so much fun. I, I think, I, I think the blind guy deserves a hat because I haven't had one more, one more hat. And you know what else I think? I think I can't help myself, but just for playing, G Webs gets one too. So that's awesome, guys. I can't stop giving stuff away.
I want to have Christmas at your house.
Yeah, you do actually. I'm pretty good like that. Oh, all right. Well, with that and my final gift to those of you who got to play with us, so I appreciate you. I bid you adieu and have a lovely day. Oh, what I started to say, G-Webs, uh, talked about it on Monday night. I'm doing a free event here in Connecticut in Thomaston, and it is what the 6 things are that happen when the police respond to a self-defense incident. So looking forward to that. Um, so I will let y'all know how it goes the following week, but for right now, apparently DJ's Uh, our gun website says blind people don't wear hats, so maybe I won't send Barbecue his hat, but I probably will because I try to do what I say. All right, and Woods can't—
Woods here with a strong statement, strong statement there. He's, he's got the— Woods is a wise man. He's got the answer to life, the universe, and everything.
42. All right, well, y'all have a good night. I will see you— I'm leaving Saturday night, 9 PM. Other than that, I have no idea when I'll pop up again. So good night again, everybody. Talk to you later. And then I will hit the
