Ta-da! It says go live and it says I've been live for like 4 seconds already. All right, so, uh, it is Saturday night. This is not Suicide Prevention Saturday. No, no, no, this is a preview and a— oh, so much is going on! I cannot wait to tell you guys, but because tonight's show at 9 o'clock is pre-recorded, I can't tell you everything. Um, because all of these things are going to tell you didn't happen until one day. Wait till— never mind. Anyway, hi Gwebs. Thank you for my thumbs up. For those of you who are new to, please give me a thumbs up down there or down there, depending on whether or not when you're watching it, the opposite. DJ. Yeah, he knew this was coming because he knew like Thursday or Friday I was totally— and fear not, Gwebs. Those who are not going to find out right now will find out eventually. Big hints, big hints. Yeah, probably. Now I'm probably just going to be, oh dude, so excited to have Patriot in the Dark because one of my things I'm totally excited with, which I will lead off with because Patriot in the Dark is here. Oh, it's my girl. It's my DC Project Mass director, Carrie Anne. All right. Back to Patriot in the Dark. For those of you who don't know, Patriot in the Dark right here, blind, cannot see, still shoots guns as far as I know, or at least he supports 2A. He and I need to have a conversation beyond the emails we've exchanged so far. So anyway, today one of the things I am super duper excited about is I had my first blind guy. Now, can he see? He can see, but he is legally blind. He cannot drive, but he would like to become an NRA instructor. And here's a little teaser for you, um, he and his buddy who brought him here are both looking to be NRA instructors. And my, uh, I— when they were done with their pre-qualifications today, they agreed to go on, um, on this, and I recorded what they thought about the pre-qual, and it's very exciting. Um, it's funny because the jokes we made at the beginning was that, um, there's two guys. One guy's been shooting longer than the other. Now, to be fair, it's the guy who is, um, sight impaired. And on the first targets, the sight impaired guy totally crushed the other guy. Now, they're really good friends and they joked about it, but, um, you know, it's definitely one of those things. Ah, all right. So yes, thank you. And like I said, I try not to assume things, but I just don't know. And goodness knows I'm pretty sure that I have talked to Patriot. So I also am a little bit airheaded and blonde from time to time as far as that goes. And just carry on. Yes, we're actually not far enough away that we should not see each other more regularly. So we've got to work on that. So, and to be fair, the dude said when I forgot his name, his name is Sal and Salvatore. Um, but he, he— I, I struggled in the beginning, and he's like, just call me the blind guy. So when I refer to him like that, I am not being disrespectful. He is the one who suggested I just call him the blind dude. So, um, just so y'all know. All right, um, and, and Pete— sorry, so Patriot sent me to Pete because I knew this guy was coming. I wasn't quite sure how to deal with someone who is sight impaired, and Pete is helping me out. He and I just haven't managed to quite connect. We've, we've chatted back and forth, but I'll be working on that. Also, I will be calling the NRA. Um, yes, this is true. Sorry. Um, I'm going to be calling the NRA because they are totally all inclusive. So it's just super exciting because I haven't done an instructor course for like 2 years.. And, and the quality of people who are applying to become instructors. And this is one of the things we talked about a little bit in the video I did with Sal and George or Jorge. They are Puerto Rican. And I don't know, I guess Puerto Ricans are proud of that. So they had to announce that to me. So anyway, they, went on video. I'm going to be releasing that probably on Wednesday only because for those of you who don't already know and follow me, depending on where you're watching this, I am taking an EMT course right now. So my Tuesdays and Thursdays are crazy busy tomorrow. I need to sit down and just read all day. So I probably will not be editing the video. Uh, and I may or may not actually edit the video. I just may just give it to you raw because that's how it goes. All right. So that's the instructor training thing. Um, and let's see what else. So what else am I excited about tonight? The show that's coming on for you at 9 o'clock. Now, yes, I've been doing Suicide Prevention Saturday since 2018. And yes, last year I kind of dabbled in, in the beginning of this week doing interviews with various people, but I am super, super duper excited about tonight because you'll have to watch and see. How's that for a teaser? See, I'm not gonna, um, like really get everyone— give you everything. Because it was funny, because I was telling Sal and George that they need to watch tonight, and I told them how excited I am because I really think that tonight's really awesome. Um, but at the same time, like, isn't it like when you tell someone that a restaurant at a dish is really super good, so you have this huge expectation and you go get it and you're like, oh, that was so great. So I'm gonna let you all decide. I will be here in the comments, uh, when you are watching tonight. And, um, all right, so yeah, so barbecue. Also, the vision impaired, um, and call him the blind guy. And, uh, I don't know what Borqui pride is strong, um, but I'm— I don't know what that is. I'm gonna have to guess it's the Puerto Rican thing, but I don't know. And thank you, Miss Carrie Anne. I'm proud of us for all the things that we do. Um, all right, so super excited about blind guys learning how to become instructors because their hearts are where they need to be. 2, you will get to see a video of them after they went through that. Like I said, probably going to be Wednesday. 3, tonight's awesome. And 4, guess who's got a weekly radio spot for the month of October? That would be me. Last week, Wednesday, I went on a radio show, 600 AM here in Connecticut, and it is also 107.3. I'm pretty sure that's right. And it's talk radio. And, you know, as you can tell— oh, I'm sorry, Carrie, I didn't mean to leave you up there forever. As you can tell, I like to talk. So they invited me back. So on Monday, I have another opportunity to be on the radio for an hour from 11 to 12. It's actually 11:05, but it is very cool. So I'm super excited. So October— oh, and I haven't switched my calendar yet. So all 4 weekends, all 4 Mondays. And actually, I think there's 5 Mondays in October because it's a 31st kind of thing. And then the, the last Monday before the election, and that will be my radio stardom. For those of you who do not live in Connecticut, and I live in Connecticut and I can't get 600 AM here because it's on the coast, there is going to be a link down below. I just didn't want to blow it before I did this. Um, so you'll be able to listen on the internet for those of you who are, are far, far away. All right. So for those of you who were like me and didn't know what Boricua is, it is Puerto Rican. Um, and Fiona, my everlasting cheerleader and my unicorn for many reasons. Um, yes, I am not running for any offices. I'm just trying to help people get— oh yeah, that's right. That is the other thing I'm doing is making phone calls and knocking on doors for Oh, who is it? Leora Levy, who is here in Connecticut going up against Blumenthal. And even those of you who live everywhere, you know, Blumenthal is like the most anti-gun person we have. So Leora Levy is where I'm putting my time. So yes, Fiona, there was something I forgot to tell you I was doing. Ha! Hola, CNT. What does it say? I have a sweet radio gig. Will you start podcasts on YouTube anymore? Oh yeah, dude, are you kidding me? Y'all are my family. I would never leave this. This is interactive. Active. We're talking about whether or not my radio show is going to have any call-in features or not, but I will be doing— what am I doing? Like, what's it called? Like specials and stuff. So there's going to be a weekly special that I offer for a great start shooting school. And as far as blind guys, then you ever thought possible, and even blind lady shooters, that's cool. Because one of the things we were talking about with Sal is just how important it is not to be limited by anything that you think is a limitation. But I'm gonna, you know, I want you to hear it from him, so you have to choose— try and— try and— so whatever this is called, pay attention on Wednesday and I won't drop it. So, oh, DJ of course is faster than me, so, um, and he knew this was coming, so that's also a helpful thing. But there you have it, uh, wicc600.com. And like I said, they've got it on AM as well, but I'm pretty sure if you go here, it has both of the places where you can stream to. And for those of you who are on Facebook side, I will do the check-in on Facebook. And so I know on Wednesday when I did it, that it— when I marked where I was, it automatically showed it. Oh, let's see, how am I doing? Where am I going? All right, so Mike White joined. Did I say hi to— did I say hi to you yet, C&T? Hey, I don't know, how is your sister? Do I know your sister? I don't know. Or is it, how is it my— never. Anyway, I am being a little bit silly. Hello, Mr. White. Are you down at that Texas place where everybody else that's cool is that I am not? And I can't— oh no, Fiona is on the— never mind. I put that up because I thought Fiona was over on the Facebook side. Um, so anyway, and what else? Oh yes. So Fiona, here's the deal. Ha, uh, you need to take the NRE prequel. I should have already sent it to you. Don't know if I did or not, but, um, if I have not, I'm gonna— it's gonna get up on my page because we're creating a whole instructor page for there. All right, I got it. Did I miss anybody? Um, all right, G-Webs. So the radio show is for anything. Like, I actually sent the producer a whole bunch of different ideas, um, so we don't know what we're going to be talking about. Uh, it's not for the shooting school per se. It's because when I was on last week, we talked about Girl and Gun, we talked about DC Project, we talked about the journey of going from Clueless to Confident, uh, we talked about suicide— suicide prevention and suicide awareness. And who else did I talk about? So we kind of threw a lot of stuff out there. So the radio show can go down any one of those things. If I look real quick, if I can do anything real quick while I'm also watching the clock to make sure I don't step on my own show at 9 o'clock, um, I'll give you some ideas, but I know, um, they also offered me a different, uh, bit of what do I call it, additional time. So like the first hour is me and the radio host chatting, and, um, then they offered if I have additional guests that I can bring on that I could then possibly have the second hour. So here are some of the things, um, suicide prevention, how to find training, what is competitive shooting like, how did I go from thinking a 10-round mag ban was okay to realizing it's a gun ban. And then going from not knowing what a Republican town committee was to becoming the chairperson of it. Why learning and understanding freedom is often learned best from those who have watched Opposed. Ooh, who do you think I'm setting up for that for my guest? Would that be Gabby Franco? Maybe. Yes, it might be, but she's kind of busy right now. Additional things, the importance of gun safety, how just because someone's done stuff for a long time doesn't mean they're any good at it. Myths around training. So as you can see, there's lots and lots of different things. So as far as this question goes, it could be yes for all of it. The awareness for the shooting school is going to be offering free training, discounted training, stuff like that, but working it into whatever the topic is going to be, except not suicide, because that would be a horrible combination. So, but because of people like G-Webs, I will be thinking about ways to push people to, um, help donate to places like Walk the Talk America. Oh, which you're gonna see in like 8 minutes because you're gonna get to see Jake. Um, and I usually freak out at the fact that it auto starts and then I'm— but anyway. Oh, what is this? Been shooting in weeks. Yes. Well, yeah, the concerts. I know you're not going to the competition because you're going to be Metallica And what is this? Yes, I am a guest. And yeah, well, okay, sorry, I didn't read that whole thing before I put it up. So yeah, I was so amazing, um, that they gave me, uh, more time to come back. I'm still gonna be a guest, so it's up to the producer who or what, um, we are going to talk about. So that's kind of that. Um, Yeah. And it's, it's going to be, I'm going to cut off probably with like in like 5 minutes. Cause you know, I'm that nervous Nelly. I know that StreamYard has it up and it's supposed to just automatically go, but I just want to get in like you guys and just sit there and wait until it starts and we can chat in the chat. So I think that's everything. Is that everything? Working for Leora Levy, making phone calls, knocking doors to try to defeat Blumenthal here in Connecticut. Pray for us. That will be a miracle should we do that. Um, work in the town fair because, you know, that's fun. Working on my EMT certification or seeing whether or not I can do it because just because I try does not mean I will be successful. Um, let's see, uh, super excited about the candidates I have for my instructor course, which is now being moved out to January. So Fiona, you have time to, uh, figure out how to get one weekend off from your busy concert schedule. And yeah, I think that's it. And you'll get to see my little— my little— my instructor people that came today on next Wednesday, probably. And thank you. Yes, I'm super excited. I'm like, I'm nervous, freaked out, because like, oh, you were great on Wednesday. Come back and continue to be great. No pressure. No. And radio does reach a lot of ears. And one of the things I realized, I think I want to throw out there also as a possible topic, is going to be, um, what the heck is it going to be? Just myths around guns, like what happens, what doesn't, violence prevention, stuff like that. We will, we will see how this all works out. And yes, when it comes to Second Amendment, Mr. Blumenthal is not friendly in any way, shape, or form. All right, okay, yes, so I need my pro tips. When you leave here, click on the duck at the top left and it will take you right to the control room list where you get to your other shows in two clicks. Okay, I will click on the ducky. Um, for those of you who don't know, that's the, the logo for StreamYard, which is how I'm putting this out everywhere. Are you laughing at me or just saying how that I, you know, Mr. Blumenthal? All right. So for those of you want to type it because unfortunately, oh well, if you're on YouTube side, you can just cut and paste. DJ's got us queued up for the next thing. And yeah, I'm super excited. And my blind guy was also really curious to find out what, uh, what the NRA does as far as if he has any allowances. And I kept telling him, like, truthfully, like I said, he outshot his buddy who has perfect vision on the first target and then continued to do so. And I don't think he needs any special allowances, which is the part that I'm super, uh, super cool. All right, and do you want the link? Oh, so Carrie Anne, you're on the Facebook side. So it will be on Facebook too, because it'll be on my personal, it will be on A Great Start Shooting School. So with that, ladies and gentlemen, thank you for getting to have some of my excitement here and let stuff out and tell you, and I'm going to hop off now and I will see you all in the chat, assuming that's really where I see it. And did I say hi to Gary? Hi, Gary. Um, I did see you pop on. I don't think I clicked on you yet, and I hadn't seen you for a while, so I will see you in the chat over there. And yes, and this is going to be in the comments— or sorry, in the whatever description for the other one. All right, for real, I'm leaving. Goodbye, goodbye. I will see you in the chat on
