Shot Show Bag of goodies!

In this informal, live‑style video, the host (SPEAKER A) unpacks a bag of free swag collected at SHOT Show 2024, describing each item, the vendor that gave it away, and any personal connection or story behind it. The video covers a wide range of products—gloves, earplugs, patches, stickers, hand‑warmers, gun‑cleaning tools, knives, and apparel—from vendors such as Glove Station, Decibulls, USCCA, BoreSmith, Silencer Central, CZ Custom, Barry’s Bullets, Walk the Talk America, and many more. Throughout the unboxing, the host repeatedly mentions a commitment to suicide‑prevention outreach, noting conversations with Decibulls, BoreSmith, and other exhibitors about supporting mental‑health initiatives. The host also outlines future content plans: hands‑on reviews of earplugs, gun‑cleaning sessions, and deeper dives into specific products. The tone is conversational, enthusiastic, and community‑focused, with occasional humor and self‑deprecating remarks. The video ends with a call for viewer feedback and a promise to follow up on any items of interest.

All right, so my student just canceled, so I was down here in the classroom and I gotta clean up and find stuff. So what am I gonna do? I'm gonna make a video instead because that's way more fun. All right, are y'all ready for this? SHOT Show 2024. This is a bag. It was available every day from SAR Firearms, if you dare read it that way. And well, I'm just gonna pull everything out and show you what I got at SHOT Show. So, even before SHOT Show, I got stuff in the mail, and here are, uh, let's see, I'll come closer, 5.11, uh, Liberty Pack, What else? Alien gear, holsters. Did I get to see them? I did not. I walked by them, but I didn't stop yet. An SSF, for those of you. And guess what? Oh, you know what this is? Are you ready for this? You know, if you know me, you know I'm excited about this, right? Support for suicide prevention. Yes, love that. Embarrassed. Range is done right, build and maintain. Yeah, I'm not that fancy yet. Maybe someday. North American Arms, the wait is almost over. SHOT Show 2024, they had a new product unveiling. Did I get to see that? I did not. There is too much to see at SHOT Show. So, um, let's see. Veterans Guardian, underrated by the VA, we can help. VA Claims. Mossy Oak Sherpa Fleece Hoodie. And I don't know if I was supposed to go buy one for $14.97, but I gotta say, my bag was packed. And then here's a little card that says where everybody is and what booth number they are. Alright, so like I said, you got SAR. What else is in there? So much stuff. I don't know if you guys can handle this. Alright, so I'm totally gonna talk about these guys.
Ready?
There's gonna be a couple different things. DSG— well, DG, sorry. DS. Wow. Okay, glove station. I know it looks like a D, but that's really a backwards G. Anywho, here is my new school gloves. So they are gloves for this lovely weather. That we can keep our hands mostly warm. It has an open thumb and finger, and they come in multiple different types of grips. As far as you can have all your fingers, you can have, um, you know, just this but the thumb is covered. But for shooting, these are awesome. And you know what? They gave them to me, and they gave me this little because the smalls are what they had on hand, and the smalls do not fit me. However, I said, can I get them? Can I have them so my students who have smaller hands can have them? And they said yes. So that is why I love Glove Station now, because I got to meet them at SHOT Show, and they gave me free stuff because that's always fun. I'm going to read this. Thank you for choosing Glove Station. Our goal is to provide you with a complete and exceptional shopping experience. So yes, it is lovely. What else? Oh, here we go. Muffin glasses. Why'd I get these? I won them. I did. We were at the women's event on Thursday? Wednesday? I don't know. It's kind of all of a blur, but we just had raffle prizes and I got to win these. And I don't know if you can tell how shiny they are, but they are purple shiny and these will probably go for for a raffle at some point in time because I already have enough of these things. I got to meet a Connecticut girl while I was in Vegas, uh, because she works at Silencer Central. And, um, we're not gonna talk about the Silencer shop, but this was the original lanyard we all got. So we got the koozie from Silencer Central. Do I own one of these? Did they help me buy something?
No.
Did they help my husband buy something? Maybe. So, uh, that's more fun. Let's see. Oh, Barry's Bullets. We stopped by them because as reloaders, we use Barry's Bullets all of the time. And so when we told them that, they're like, oh, here, have some more, have some more. So there is another Barry's Bullets hat. All right, what else This is going to take a little while. This might be a really long video. All right, Taran Tactical, the 5.11. Taran was actually at the SHOT Show, and I'm figuring out how you can see this the best because everything is backwards, gets confused. So we have an autographed— my husband got an autographed hat from Taran. And for those of you who don't know, Taran is the one who kind of maybe kind of taught John Wick how to shoot for real. So yes, so there is that. What else do we have? There's another one. Oh, the Silencer Central. Like I said, we got to meet these guys and we actually have some of their products, so that is cool. What else is in here? So much more, right? So we got some MOLLE, and for those of you who love MOLLE, explain to me how to use this because I really don't know, but it was coming out of N-Star, NC Star, and that was a booth there. So I have to check them out more because I got the Molly and it was just randomly at a door, so I did not see their booth either. Ooh, okay, so for those of you who don't know, I have a CZ that I shoot in competition currently, so I stopped by the CZ Custom booth and this is what they gave me. There's going to be more CZ Custom stuff here, but I'm like, I want you to be able to actually see the thing. So there's gonna be more CZ Custom stuff. I really do use them. Last year, I think, I sent my guns away to them to make them into twins. So they go through your gun and fix everything up, and they say they love guns like mine because they come all worn out. So they love to know that people are actually using the guns. All right, because it is wintertime and we are here in—
where are we?
New England, Connecticut, the cold places. Hot Hands to go kind of along with my gloves, my new gloves. So Hot Hands are awesome because why? Oh, I don't know, because these were free. Because at the end of the show on Friday, they're like, take whatever you want. So you're gonna see more Hot Hands too. But for right now, I'm just sort of, sort of, sort of, sort of sorting things. Do you know what else they have? Which is something I had no idea that Hot Hands had. They have big honkin' lap warmers. Have you ever seen these? I've never seen these before. So this was super fun that, um, that they did this. So we now have lap warmers. So next time I go somewhere, I don't know where, I will totally bring those with me so that I can try them out. Let me see. Oh, there's more, and there's still more, and I think that— oh wait, is there more? There might be more, but anyway, we have lap warmers now for when it's super cold out on the range. If anyone doesn't want to sit in the truck, maybe we'll put them on the— in there, under one of those. Yes, that's what I was trying to say. Say. All right, are we ready for more? All right, Decibulls, here we go. Uh, custom molded earplugs. I have not done these yet, but they're super easy. You put them in boiling water, then you mold them to this part of your ear. They're not going in your ear, they're just going here. And if you don't like how it turns out, you can mold them again. By boiling them again. I'm not opening them yet because I think I'm going to do an actual video of doing them. I was really excited about talking to these guys because I talked to them on Friday and we talked about suicide prevention and they want to hear more. So I'm looking forward to reconnecting with these guys. So not only do I like the product, or at least, all right, I like the people who have the product because I haven't used it yet, yet, so I can't say that, but I'm actually excited about trying this out. And here we go, there's still more. Alright, USCCA, I did get to go to the VIP event. Ha! See, VIP, I'm so important. No, just kidding. But it was a lot of fun, actually. They have, if you've ever been to a USCCA VIP event, one of the things they have are these USCCA drummers. And I know it seems odd because here we are in a nightclub and there's these drumming guys, but you'd have to be there to see it.
Who is it?
Oh, look at Beth Alcazar's Facebook feed, I think, and she's got some pictures of the drummers. I got to play the drums. So that was fun about that. And it was also fun hanging out with folks. So, oh, remember I told you there's gonna be more? There is more. I'm gonna have this all sorted out by the time the end of this video. All right, what else, what else, what else? More Hot Hands. Oh wait, no, these are hand warmers. I think the ones I showed you before were probably actually the toe warmers. So we got a bunch of different types here. All right, I didn't know that there's new ways to get your gun cleaner. Than before. So what the heck am I talking about? These guys were one of the folks I ran into at SHOT Show on Friday, you know, again, when people are kind of giving their stuff away anyway. But they had the thing where you walk up to their booth, they're like, hey, if you clean this rifle barrel, we'll give you free patches. So all you have to do is try these. So here are the patches. They are currently patent pending, and what happens when they have you clean the barrel is they show you the difference between a patch like this versus a regular square patch. And the thing about these is these will never get stuck. For those of you who actually like cleaning your guns, God bless you, but I'm willing to bet you've done it enough so that you understand that sometimes these will If you get square ones, they get caught because they get folded over 5 times and then all of a sudden you can't get it out of your barrel even though it's made for your gun. So with these guys, they do not get stuck like a square patch. So remove 5 layer folds, notches are for 17 through 58, and more contact, less radius means reach down farther. A jag, duh, farther down a jag than does a square patch. At their, oh, what do you call it, at their booth, so this is, wait, is that in focus? I can't tell. I think I need to put my glasses on. Oh, there you go. So at Boarsmith, and go to trianglepatch.com. Why is it coming in and out? Oh, there you go, trianglepatch.com. Oh, silly. Anyway, hopefully you can go back to where it was actually clear. All right, so you can go there and get these, and why would I suggest them? Not just because they gave me free stuff, but it really was kind of cool how the difference was. Like, they showed you a clean patch, a triangle patch, and then a square patch, and it's really weird. There's less physical surface area on this, but it really does pick up more dirt. So that was really kind of cool. You know what else they did? I told them I'm a pistol girl because, like I said, they had you clean rifle barrels, but they gave me a bunch of brushes as well, so that was very sweet of them. And, uh, let's see, match patch to picture. Oh, so because this is a free sample pack, it occurs to me there are different sizes in here. So the fact that it has a key in here to tell me what to do, definitely helpful because And then I have a— oops, I have their cards and I have price list. Uh, and it was funny because I also talked to them about Suicide Friends on Saturday, and Shane sent me back an email replying, how do I know this is you? What did we talk about? So I replied to him because it happened before SHOT Show floor actually opened, and I'm not an exhibitor. I just walked right in and we talked about how if you look like you know what you're doing, sometimes that's enough. So Shane Smith over at Bore Smith— and that is funny that his name is Shane Smith, I only just got that now. So anyway, so there we have it. Here are my free things, and yes, we'll have to try them out on a Friday night because at some point Fiona's going to come over, we're actually going to do gun cleaning on Friday night. All right, I ran into G-Webs. For those of you who don't know, look up gun websites on YouTube. I got a patch. This is Elmer Fudd with not a shotgun, but a rifle. What else did I get? Oh, we got Barry's Bullets. This was my husband's patch for SHOT Show. I have to tell everyone, everybody thought this was hysterical because on my husband's patch Like, my patch says "A Great Start Shooting School," and it says "owner" or "instructor" or something. My husband's says "spouse." Everybody walking around me thought that was hysterical, that my husband was just the spouse. So, there's that. And like I said, that's another Barry's Bullet patch. Like, my husband's like, "Oh, you can keep the pouch," but he wants his patch back. So that goes with our Barry's Bullets. Stuff. Oh man, now we're really getting into it. All right, glove station had this really cool keychain with— what is that? It is a USB. What's on the USB? Well, that would be their catalog of products. So I thought that was a really cool giveaway. On top of it being cute, it allowed me to go back to them after I talked to them, because I think I talked to them on Thursday and I had tried on the gloves that they had in the booth that actually fit me. Those were gone, but they like come back the next day and they would give me whatever they had left, basically. So this was a very cool little memento to make it easier for me to find them. So I thought that was cool. And yet there's still more. So much more. Oh. Hold on. Let me see if I can find it more. Alright, anyway, I'll just show you— well, can I show them? Here, if I do that, I can show you this because if I don't do that, then I don't know if it counts as showing off boobs because she is not fully covered. So this is one of the patches we got at the Flamethrowing Company, and hopefully I've got another patch in there so I can say the name of them. Because I don't know off the top of my head. Can you tell there was a lot of stuff that happened? Alright, VIP event from USCCA, Silencer Shops, not to be confused with Silencer Central, because these are our people. There we go. Because Silencer Central is awesome. Why are they awesome? Because they do everything for you. There's a lot of paperwork that goes into getting a silencer. Oh, see, I told you there'd be more stuff from CZ Custom. So here is another patch from— see what the world— all right, CZ Custom, I got another patch from them. Uh, I have some more NRA stuff. I shouldn't say more because so far you haven't seen that yet. Okay, I have cards. I got lots of cards from lots of people. I've actually emailed every single one of these people on this card, on these cards, because they're people I actually talked to at SHOT Show, and I've asked them what are they doing for— what's that called? Suicide prevention? Yes! Because I want to become either a conduit for people like Walk the Talk America to help them get their stuff in. And speaking of Walk the Talk America, Guess what Jake and Mike gave me? I got new stickers. How cool are those? I also have new— I don't know if these are stickers or if they're just little, um, whatever they're called. Well, I know these are stickers because I thought he had a mug that had this on it, but it was a sticker he put on a mug. So that I know. These ones I don't. I'll have to get back to you on that. I think I have something else in here from them, but I don't know. Ah, here's my official Silencer Central, um, lanyard. There you go. So I've got lots of lanyards now. Oh, because also on the last day, in case somebody wanted something from SHOT, I just grabbed some of those because those were free and everywhere, sort of like the SAR bag. So here's my Silencer Central stuff. So that goes with these guys right here. Silencer Central. Shout out to Amanda because, you know, she was my girl from Connecticut that works for Silencer Central that I had to go to Las Vegas to actually finally meet. So that is my— I think that's funny that I had to go to Vegas to meet somebody in Connecticut. So, all right. Gun Owners of America. We are no compromise. Dun dun dun! And that is another patch. NRA Foundation— what's that say? Teach Freedom. There we go.
I can read.
See? Oh, UltiClip. This is a sticker. Sorry, I'm figuring these things out as I go. And I have more from them. Probably gonna talk to the wife. She actually just published a kid's book. So all sorts of weird, cool stuff. So there is the Empowered group. Women's rights for gun rights are empowered. And this is also from Gun Owners of America, I believe. And I don't even know where I got this. It just says SHOT Show 2024. Oh, but either I got it or my husband got it or G-Web's got it for me. So that's Gideon Optics. I think G-Web's got these for me. Where'd I get this? Gun Owners of America. Save a pup, abolish the ATF. And for those who understand the difference between a dog and a pup, good for you. Oh, and then I got more of the patches from the other, whatever they're called, flamethrowing place. I'm sure I will find something in here about them. Alright, so here's something that you may I may or may not have thought of at the gun show. On the last day, on Friday, they're giving away beef jerky. Why? Because we all need something to eat on the plane rides home, or for people like CloverTac who drive themselves there and ghost. Well, you need road food. So Jack Link's was actually there and handing out snacks for those of us who are headed home. I thought that was kind of cool. Oh, and what did I tell you? More handleovers. Why? Because we buy these things by the case and they're like, take as much as you want. So we kind of did. Well, again, remembering we have to stay under 50 pounds in order to get back to, um, back home so they don't pay $500 for our luggage. Okay, I think that— oh, so I didn't tell you, there's a bag inside the bag. This is just a Target bag. But that is done. Ah, so I have a Walk the Talk America patch now. I have another Barry's Bullets patch, so now my husband and I don't have to fight over our patches. I have another CC Custom patch, which this one is not as beat up. Then, um, I was on Arms Room Radio. However, to be fair, I really don't know if the interview that we did will ever air, 'cause, well, we kind of screwed up the beginning and then never restarted, so I don't know if most of it's just gonna end up on the cutting room floor when they edit it all, but it was probably the most that I laughed the entire week. You guys have seen the NRA Foundation patches. And, oh, I have another FUD with his AR. And then for those of you who know what this is— ooh, should I do a contest? If you know what this is, I will send it to you. What do you think of that? I'm not going to tell anybody, but if you know whose patch this is and you don't already have one, because I am confident that if you know who it is, you may already have your patch, but if you don't, I will send you one. All right. And then more guns and mental health. I like these stickers because you guys know I like sparkly. So these are really cool. And actually, now that I said that, hold on. Oh, wait, so he'll be able to know. We're just talking about being in the black knife club. And I just love this knife to pieces because it's tiny and it fits in even girls' pockets. And ladies, you know what I'm talking about here. Girls' pockets are stupid tiny, so the fact that you can even put this in girls' jean pockets is a small miracle. Alright, but yeah, see, I think it looks much better when you can see it not in the plastic, and I have to figure out somewhere to put this. Ooh, I don't know, maybe— let's see, right there? Oh no, is it gonna take too long? Yeah, it's gonna take too long. So anyway, there you have it. Is there more? Yes, there is still more. Oh, but it's mostly— oh, here it is! Pulsefire. That is these guys. So, sorry. Alright, so Pulsefire is a flamethrower, right? Ta-da! And here's the crazy part. I don't know if you can tell from this picture here, but it's attached to a rifle. It attaches to a Picatinny rail if you so desire. So, um, yeah, I'll talk more about those in another time, in another video. And I think that's kind of it. The rest of this is just paper stuff. I just dropped a sticker. But, um, body armor and UltiClip and NRA stickers. Oh yeah, I might actually put this on my car. More stickers and more stickers, more stickers. I got the sticker— is this? Yeah, this is sticker too. Sorry, I'll figure that out. I have my Arms and Radio stickers. Lucas Outdoor Line. I do love Lucas.
I do.
It is—
I don't know.
I don't know if it's because they support the shooting sports, so I get free Lucas oil all the time. That might be it. So good job, guys. It's working. More stickers. Don't tread on my gun rights from the NRA. And then we had a guide all about everything that is NRA. We gave it away multiple times because various people didn't have them and they needed to know where stuff was, like Deb Ferns, for example. And this was really, really helpful to be able to find stuff. What else? Oh, here's the actual shot. So see how thick that is?
Hmm.
There were over 250 different exhibitors, and this is going to go into all of them. And it's like a little book where you can pop out the things, the dividers. There we go. And it'll tell you each piece of this. So I haven't gotten into this yet, but I plan on it, especially once I get back to following up I took lots of pictures of really cool stuff. The custom guns were so much fun. There were so many colors and so many different things. Again, I took tons of pictures and I don't know how well you can see this, but we're considering doing this with one of our rifles. I mean, not these particular pictures, but— oh, Red Lobster. We went to Red Lobster. Wait, Red Lobster. And we got to see G-Webs and DJ, and they took pictures for us. So my husband and I, because you guys never get to see my husband, so there we are. And oh no, where's the other one? All right, I was gonna show you the picture that we have of DJ, but apparently that's in the luggage still. And what else do I have? Ooh, for those who did not watch my little 4-minute thing on girls I've met at SHOT Show, You're gonna want to see the bullet casings dress, and more importantly, you get to see her actually wearing it, which I think is the cutest thing ever. So, Miona is a competitive shooter, and she just does all of this work by hand, and it's so much cooler to see it in person, but this at least gives you an idea. You can follow her on all of her Instagrams and all of her social media. And it was really fun hanging out with her. I have a— I don't know, I have an interview with her. I will work on getting that up for you guys. And then SHOT Show Daily, each day they put out a new magazine, and I got 2 out of 3, and I think number 3 got something spilled on it, so that's why I've only got day 1 and 2. All right, that's it. The bag is finally empty. I hope you guys thought that was fun. I thought it was kind of a fun thing to do. Leave your comments. Let me know what stuff you'd like to see more of. Like I said, the earplugs, I know I will— well, I don't know. I plan on using them soon and then doing a video of the whole process from taking them out of the box, sticking them in the boiling water, Obviously I'll do some time slipping there and then see how they work. So I'll talk to you guys later.
Bye. Haha, just kidding. So anyway, hi guys, how are you? Uh, did you like it? Was it fun? Can you tell that I'm suffering from a cold right now? Because I can hear it for sure. So anyway, I did not turn the bag upside down, but I promise you, DJ, that is everything that was in there. And so, yeah, so it's, it's alive because I'm here chatting with you, which is way easier than if I try to do all of it at the same time. And yes, Gary, I was like, hmm, how do you—
what do you think?
Were you surprised? So, yeah, there you go.
It was fun.
I hope you guys liked it. And seriously, if there are any things that you saw that you really want to see more of, My goal is to, uh, I don't know, to go over more of the stuff, or as I find out more or use the stuff. Because like, I was, I was not joking about the patches as far as like, I'm gonna talk Fiona into coming over. We're actually gonna do a Friday night cleaning. Um, so yeah, so that's the plan, Stan. Well, barbecue. The reason he said pause is because he knew that was a video because I happened to tell him beforehand. All right, so ladies and gentlemen, Vanessa Kitty. Uh, let's see, let me see if I can do my roll call right. So Guns of Barbecue, DJ, Gizzard Gary, DM Foss is out there. Uh, Gizzard, Gizzard, yep, did that. Sorry, I'm scrolling through all this stuff because yes, I commented a lot because I was able to watch with you guys versus trying to do stuff, because y'all seen me and you know I don't do that well. All right, I think I called out everybody. If I did not, I apologize. And with that No, somebody spoiled the surprise for me. Yeah, I know it would be me. So, because he almost was going to be the co-host here. All right, everybody, um, thanks for popping in on this surprise Sunday afternoon. And it was because I did have a student can— well, no, sorry, let me— we rescheduled. She did not cancel. Both her and I are sick. We decided we would push this off and try to rest and drink lots of tea. So yes, it did feel like a Ginsu knife commercial, or, uh, ShamWow is the one that— oh, and yet there's more. So yes, there are lots of stickers and that sort of thing that I have multiples of. So if you're dying for some, let me know and I'll let, uh, let Fiona know that you're sending her a patch and I'll give that to her, providing we can get her here. All right. Have an awesome rest of your weekend and see you guys next Saturday if I don't see you before then. And, uh, that's about it. Good night, everybody.
Good afternoon.
Goodbye. Whenever you're watching the replay. Bye, everybody.
