Ta-da! We are live. I am live. You may or may not be watching me live. Generally, no. Only the beginning do the replay viewers get to hear me babble on until someone actually joins my live. So with that, I had to drop— but speaking, I've been doing that all day long, teaching my NRA basic pistol class so that people can get to their applications for their pistol permit here in Connecticut. So I've been speaking a lot today, but that's okay because I can do that more because I'm good like that. All right, uh, super excited. This weekend I have a skill builder class. I have a guest instructor. His name is Steve McGow, and he teaches up at SIG, and he also teaches for Opspec Training, which runs courses all over the country. So So super excited to have him here. And I had to hop on to tell you about this because we have less than a week. It's on Saturday. And someone's like, how come it's not full yet? I'm like, cuz I'm not that great at marketing. So I'm gonna ask you who are watching, hey, CNT, I'm gonna ask those of you who are watching and in the area, ideally, cuz obviously you're coming here to Connecticut or hey, you know, it might be worthwhile for you to fly out here. I don't know. Um, for this class. Um, so I'm trying to catch up, man. That's how it goes. Uh, I have this awesome class coming up this weekend. It is called a skill builder, and I'm looking at my notes because that's just easier for me to do. But the short version, it's simply this: it's 9 to 5, we're doing classroom, and we're doing range time, 150, 200 rounds, could because we know everyone's having ammo stupid expensive, right? So it's an amazing, amazing thing. So if you're a seasoned shooter and you would like to get better and faster with a handgun, this class is amazing. I don't want to tell you what you can do by the end of the class, but it's— I, I, we did it for the first time last year and it was totally awesome. So for those of you who would like to be able to truly— oh dude, you would love this class. You would I so love this class, but I know you are a slave to your concert schedule, so it is what it is. However, there's no reason, Miss Fiona, that you should not at least sign up for the basic pistol instructor qualification, uh, class, uh, just to see whether or not you qualify or not, because that would be interesting to see. You already are an RSO, so instructor is possibly the next step for you would be my idea. So this Saturday, Skill Builder, be, uh, available for improved trigger control, which means improved accuracy with learning all sorts of fun technical stuff about how and why what we're doing does what it does, and then go put it to use on the range. Will we work out of holsters?. And if you don't have a holster, don't let you stop. Don't let that stop you. Steve and I have stuff that you can borrow, whether you're left-handed, right-handed. I have Sig. Oh no, he has Sig because they let— all right, I'm just gonna stop right here. Here's the thing. You want to do it, but I don't think you're there. The whole point of coming, you only have to pay $65, come for an hour and a half. We will go through— ready? The NRA Instructor Program Pre-Course Qualification. And here's the deal, it's the same cost as a regular class, but you get an hour and a half and we go through safety stuff and your marksmanship stuff. You only have to bring like 100 rounds for it. We usually go through 50 of those rounds. Um, so if you don't try this, you won't know if you're there yet or not. And on top of that, um, oh wait, I got, I got, I put it out of focus. Um, and then if you're not there, then we can work on what you need to work on. If you are there, then you have the option. Just because you take the prequel does not mean you have to take the class. So there you go. Hahaha. How's that for taking, um, you know, get you an idea? Because it would be interesting. I mean, you might be the, the hardest part of this is the qualification the Marksmanship Qualification Program. And due to the fact that we're going to be working on that all this coming Saturday, I love learning from other instructors, and Steve is awesome. So I will be able to coach you even further if you need to work on the marksmanship side of, um, the instructor thing. So Fiona, you could probably do it. At the very least, you can try. So this is my little, um, whatever that's called. I'm going to show you all what I am looking at. Sort of, kind of, nope, I'm gonna log out first. Hold on. So it's not showing you the admin side of things. Oh, that's not what I want. So if you go to a Great Start to School, I'm gonna show this to you because this is also helpful, I think, at least. So if you go to a Great Start to School and I'll try to make it even bigger, although that's kind of almost too big. All right, so go to events. When you click on events, it then brings you to competition and training. So the 1-day Practical Fundamental Skill Builder is what is this Saturday. There are 4 seats, and we have 2 taken and 2 ready to go. If you want to do more information about this, click on it, and if you like what you see here, um, here are your prerequisites that you need to know. We're Like I said, we have stuff you can borrow if you don't have a holster for your gun. And then just click on Register for This Course if you would like to try that. Now, the other thing that I'm talking about is— oops, I'm scrolling on the wrong thing— is the NRA Basic Instructor Training. It talks about signing up and qualifying. The problem is on here, I do not have a way for you to sign up yet.. But if you want, are interested in the training, you do have to do the qualify first. Ta-da. So there you have it. That's it. I just wanna pop on real quick for this commercial break from whatever else you were watching so that you can, um, consider doing this stuff. So with all of that, please do me a favor, especially you Fiona, since you're actually local. C&T, I'm not even sure where you are. But I just assume all of you that watch are out west. I should make a little— or wait, are you in New York? I always forget. Anyway, I need to make a little YouTube map so I know who is where. All right, all of that. So this weekend, Skill Builder, very cool. Get very accurate. It's very cool to learn all this stuff. Next month is the Instructor Training. Fiona, you should absolutely try the Who's and What's It, the instructor training qualification, because then we'll know if you're ready or not, and then you can decide from there. Hello, Daily Gunjo, and thank you for the third thumbs up. And hi, Crabby Turtle. I know it seems like it's rude to call you just Crabby. So I am quarking Amanda Selfless's quote. Well done. I don't even know what quarked is, so I'm pretty sure I couldn't have done that before. I don't know. What is Amanda? Wait, does that mean like Amanda's on right now and you guys left her to come here? If that's the case, I'm gonna, I'm done now. So yes, I have no idea what quarking is, so I would not know. All right. What is weird? G webs, tell me what is weird. So 8 minutes in, just so y'all know who are just joining us now, this is supposed to be my short little commercial of The cool stuff I've got training coming up this weekend is a skill builder to get really, really awesome. After we have this class, hopefully I will get some video so y'all can see what some people were able to do at the end of this one. Um, and then next week or next month we're doing the instructor course, and I'm trying to get people to actually go to the pre-qualification. I'm gonna hold it back here because last time I held it up, my poor little camera couldn't whatever that's called. I have no idea. Oh, focus. There we go. Like me trying to think so. Oh, oh, all right. Well, if that's the case, I'm just going to hop off so y'all can watch the replay. I don't want to quark on Amanda and It's almost 7 o'clock, so I'm gonna go see what Amanda's talking about. Hopefully, probably all about the DC Project Weekend, I think. I don't— I wasn't there, so I don't know if she was there, but I assume she was there. So anyway, I'm gonna go. Goodbye. Thank you all for hopping on. Uh, yeah, I'll apologize to Amanda later because I do not have a YouTube schedule. I mean, like, I don't know everybody else's YouTube schedule. So, all right, love y'all. Thanks for letting me know, and I will talk to you guys later. Bye.
