The Bible Tells Us When Jesus Is Coming Back
27 Feb 2026 · 47 min
John Bevere and his son Arden argue that 1967, when Israel regained Jerusalem, marks the start of the end-times season. They calculate a 100-year generation pointing to a window between 2067 and 2075 for Jesus's return, drawing on biblical passages and historical milestones to build their timeline.

What if God actually gave us a prophetic timeline? And what if we are living in that time period right now?
As soon as they hear that the world is ending—
Nothing else needs to happen prophetically according to Scripture for Jesus to come back for us right now. That shows why today you have so much controversy and confusion around prophetic scriptures. It's because people look at maybe 1 or 2 verses and they build their whole theology around it. The end of the world is coming next Monday, February 5th. The world will end in late 2012. 2025.
I will come to take you.
That makes sense. We are expected to know the season, not the day or the hour, not the week, not the month, not the year, but the season. Anywhere between now and— I'm going to tell you from the scripture, from what Jesus said, I believe we're actually going to see the return of the Lord Jesus. Now, I really go into this in depth in the book, but I'm just going to say this. Hey everybody, welcome to the John Bevere Podcast. I am John, joined by my son Arden Bevere. Arden, good to see you today.
Good to see How those kids, those beautiful grandchildren of mine, they are doing good, as you know, living, living a block away from us, which is actually the best.
It's, it's— we all live— it's a grandfather and a grandmother's dream. I've got— we've got 6 grandchildren right down the street from us. It's so beautiful. Anywhere from the age of 1 to 16. It's so cool. I just— Art and I just took our 16-year-old on a ministry trip, and oh my gosh, it was so rich. I enjoyed it so much.
Yeah, but he's He's incredible. Extremely wise beyond his belief. I wish I was as wise as he was at his age.
Yeah, for sure.
He's got a good dad.
That's— He's got a great dad. Addison is an amazing man of God. Hey everybody, we are talking about the second coming of Jesus Christ. This is out of the new book called The King Is Coming. Now you can order this. You can go down, right down in the link in the description here and order your copy. But I would recommend that you would do this with friends. Because we retain very little when we go through something ourselves, but when we teach it, when we discuss it with friends, we retain so much more. It's like, it's not just double, it's a whole lot more that we retain. And this is such an important subject because it is one of the foundational teachings, two of the foundational, two of the six foundational teachings of Jesus Christ. Yeah, isn't that amazing?
Well, and not only that, but what are we doing here that they'll be able to check out?
We are going to be doing a YouTube Live. Now please everyone, if you're watching this before the end of end of February. Please plan on gathering a group. Get your friends, your besties, get your home group, your church group, whatever kind of a group, and come together because this YouTube Live is going to be on Thursday, February 26th. So put it on your calendar, start calling your friends, even start planning some refreshments or something to do because what Arden and I remember about when we did this with The Awe of God is the presence of God that came in. Yeah, people were reporting in groups, oh my goodness, the presence of God came in. They started ministering, there were people being touched by God, healed, whatever. People probably even saved.
Yeah. And that's, that's the whole heart behind it, is we want to create a momentum. I feel like when every time you release a book, it's like there's a message that gets released. There's a different anointing, a different empowering, different specific prayer that needs to be spoken over, uh, this generation. And you've done that as a father, and I feel like this event is that time period just to be able to first initial release it as this message is coming out. And so I can't encourage you guys enough, even if you're listening to this after the live event, you can actually go back and rewatch it. So you can still gather people together and you can watch it because it will be uploaded to our YouTube channel. But not only that, before we do jump in, I want to make sure I say a thank you to everyone that partners with Messenger International. Everything that we do here at Messenger International is made possible because of our partners. So if you want to partner with Messenger International, all the incredible work that we are doing all around the world, I would encourage you to check out the description below.
All right. We're going to jump into today's message or what we're going to talk about. We're going to talk about the timeline, the season, the generation of Jesus's return. And I'm going to just ask this question: What if God actually gave us a prophetic timeline? Now, I'm talking about in the Scripture, not the day or the hour. Let me stress that. But the season of Jesus's return. And what if we are living in that time period right now?
So I can't write the book 26 Reasons Why God's Coming Back or Jesus Coming Back in 2026.
No, going off. And if you don't, you and I are going to have a serious talk. And but anyway, it's kind of interesting because Paul makes a statement that I think a lot of people don't see this, and that is 1 Thessalonians 5:4. Yeah. Paul says to us believers, you aren't— okay, I'm going to stress this— you are not in the dark about these things, dear brothers and sisters. And you won't be surprised when the day of the Lord— now, the day of the Lord is the 7-year tribulation— you won't be surprised when the day of the Lord comes like a thief. Okay, so now, in the days of Jesus' first coming, and we actually talked about this a couple of podcasts ago, there were people that actually knew it was the season and actually were able to pinpoint it down to the year and even the week of his execution. And this was the Essene community because they really trusted in the reliability of the Scripture. They didn't read into it. They didn't add to it. They didn't try to put their own interpretation in. They searched carefully about what the Scripture said and they nailed it.
Yeah. And that's— we explain that out and that's why they were able— they're had the people group that were laying the palms down. And because people always saying like, how is it one week you're laying palms and then the next week you're calling for crucifixion of that same individual?
The Assyrians knew. Zechariah said, behold, your king comes to you lowly riding on the foal of a colt. Yeah, they knew.
The Assyrians knew.
They put those palm leaves down, whereas the other ones, one couple days later, crucify him, crucify him, right? Well, let's make this clear again. Jesus said, Mark 13, 32, but of that day or hour, no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. So Jesus doesn't even know. Yeah. Just like the ancient Jewish wedding, the groom doesn't know the appointed evening that he's going to go and catch away his bride. It's not until the father says to the groom, it's time, go get her.
Yeah.
So I think it's remarkable that centuries ago, before Jesus even came, God had the Jewish people devise up a wedding that actually reflects the way Jesus is coming back for his bride.
I think it's beautiful. Yeah.
I mean, it's amazing. All right. So only God knows the exact date. So we can't look at this like the first coming where the Essenes knew they could pinpoint it down to the week. No, we don't. We— and there's wisdom in this because God wants us to stay ready. Yeah, it's an imminent return. Nothing else needs to happen prophetically according to Scripture for Jesus to come back for us right now. So we want to live like he's coming right now, but we want to plan as if he's not coming back for 200 years. Yeah, because he said, occupy until I come.
Well, you said something really profound there. We want to stay ready. I think you can see the perfect example between the Essenes and then the Pharisees, of one that was staying ready and one that was not ready.
Yeah.
And the way that they responded in that time period and just the overflow of their life, essentially, it was more focused around, obviously, the Pharisees, around different expressions and emphasis rather than the Essenes.
You know, if you look at the controversy, the Pharisees actually had a concept of how Messiah was going to come, and they actually built it on Old Testament scripture because Isaiah said, "For unto us a child is born, a son is given, the government will rest upon his shoulder." shall rest upon his shoulders, and of his kingdom there'll be no end. What they don't see, they're looking for a physical kingdom and a conquering Messiah to come and deliver them from Roman oppression. What they don't understand is that there's going to be a big distance between the Son is given and then the government shall rest upon his shoulders as far as this world, earthly, natural manifestation. That's where they missed it. But that shows why today you have so much controversy and confusion around prophetic scriptures. So these people look at maybe one or two verses and they build their whole theology around it. This has been something in writing this book. This was 5 years. I mean, every time in the gym, I'm in the car, I am in the mornings, I'm reading books because I wanted to get what is the big picture. And it's just like we showed on a few podcasts ago. If you just put a couple of the pieces of the puzzle together, you might be totally wrong what you think that puzzle is going to end up. But when you put all the pieces together, all of a sudden now it comes together. And God did this on purpose because he wants us to inquire and search diligently. It's so exciting. Okay, we're going to take a break from our discussion, but we'll go right back to it quickly. But I want to talk to you about something that's very, very important, and that is your health. And I want to talk about Good Ranchers.
Yeah, yeah, Good Ranchers is an amazing company. If you've been listening to the podcast, you probably have heard about them. We keep wanting to talk about them because what they do is so incredible. You are getting American meat delivered directly to your door. A lot of times when you go to grocery stores, all the meat that you're dealing with has just tons of additives. And these are local farms that are getting meat delivered directly to your door. That's why we are subscribers, because every single month we get a box that comes directly to our door and we don't have to think about it. And it's something that's so incredible. And so I can't encourage you enough to go over to goodranchers.com, and they're doing a special promotion for our channel right now. If you subscribe, you will save up to $500 in a year. And you'll get $25 off your first order. And so all you have to do is go to goodranchers.com and use the code John, J-O-H-N. So jump over there right now.
That's right. Good Ranchers, American meat delivered. Okay, so we are expected to know the season. All right. Not the day or the hour, not the week, not the month, not the year, but the season. All right. So we're going to begin with Jesus. All right. He's on the Mount of Olives. His disciples come up to him. They say, look at how beautiful the temple is, which it was gorgeous. Herod built this magnificent temple consisting of buildings.
Yeah.
And Jesus says, hey guys, there's not going to be one stone left upon another. And they were like, oh, they said, when? So they asked him 3 questions. Number 1, when will the temple be destroyed? Number 2, What will be the sign of your coming? Yeah. Number 3, what will be the sign of the end of the age? So their questions actually deal with 2 different time periods. All right, period number 1, when's this going to be destroyed, is between 32 and 70 AD.
Okay.
But the second time period, what's going to be the sign of your return, that's 1967. Yes, I'm actually saying a day. 1967. To an unknown date in the near future.
Yeah, which, why are you saying 1967?
All right, I'm going to explain that. There is a very good reason for it, okay? Because if you look at what Jesus said about what would happen in 70 AD, in Luke 21:24, he said they will be killed. Now he's talking about the destruction of Jerusalem when Titus comes in in 70 AD. They will be killed by the sword and sent away as captives to all the nations of the world, which is exactly what happened between 70 AD and I think it's 135 the last was the Bar-Kabba rebellion in 135. That is when every single Jew had either been sold to slavery, had run into exile, or they were killed. And eventually you could find a Jewish person in every single nation of the world. All right. They will be killed by the sword or sent away as captives to all the nations of the world, and Jerusalem be trampled down by the Gentiles until the period of the Gentiles— oh, this is so important— comes to an end. Now, Jerusalem, once it was destroyed, came under— what does it mean, trampled down by the Gentiles? That it would be Gentile nations that would actually govern Jerusalem, govern the, the territory of Israel. And what are some of, of those, those nations? They were the Romans, the Byzantines, the Arab Caliphates, the Crusaders, the Mamluks, the Ottoman Empire, and it was finally the British Empire. But something magnificent happened in May 1948. It specifically was May 14th, 1948. Israel became a nation in one day. And Isaiah actually prophesied it. He said, who has heard— this is Isaiah 66:8— who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion was in labor, she gave birth to her children. Now you talk about miraculous. Let's stop and think about this, everybody. A nation of people exiled all over the world to practically every single nation for over 1,800 years. All right. From 135 to 1948. Is over 1,800 years. They kept their lineage pure. They kept their customs alive. Today they're speaking Hebrew. Yeah. No nation has ever done this in the history of mankind. It is absolutely miraculous. And Isaiah prophesied it because listen to what Isaiah said in Isaiah 11:11-13. In that day, the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to bring back the remnant of his people. He will raise a flag among the nations and assemble the exiles of Israel. He will gather the scattered people from Judah and from the ends of the world. What does he mean a second time? What was the first time?
The exile. The people of Israel coming out of Egypt.
No, right? A lot. Some people would say that. Okay. Was it a remnant? Look, it says he will bring back the remnant. Was it a remnant that left Egypt or was it the whole nation? No. When did a remnant come back? It's when Nebuchadnezzar came from Babylon, destroyed, killed most of the people. A very small remnant were taken captive. And after 70 years, the process began where God brought back. That was the first time. The second time was 1948 when it all— so it really started in the early 20th century. And it's still happening today. Yeah.
So, okay, my question too around this is obviously we've been to Israel and a large portion of Israel, or Israel specifically Jerusalem, has been given to Muslim— like the, the temple place right there is a mosque. Like it's been given over to the Muslims. So when I'm thinking about this, the first correlation obviously is Zechariah and Joshua, right? Zechariah and Joshua coming back to rebuild the temple. What does that look like right now where even so much of Israel has been given away to another religion?
Well, you had the Ottoman Empire, who a lot of Islamic people— you had Jordan actually ruled Jerusalem. I don't know when the Dome of the Rock was built, and I should have known that. That would have been something good to be prepared. Maybe we should look it up really quick. Figure out. You, you, you've, you've got the situation that the Jewish people now today rule in Jerusalem, and that didn't begin in 1948. There was a 5-day war that occurred that, um, I, I don't know if I've got the, the dates down or not, but anyway, yeah, I actually do. June 5th through 10th, 1967, which Israel Israel had a war against 5 Arab nations. And in that 5-day war, Israel won. Yeah. And the result of that winning was they took Jerusalem back from Jordanian rule. And now for the first time in over 1,800 years, Jewish people ruled not only Israel, but now more importantly, because when Jesus talked about not one stone being left upon him, he wasn't talking about all of Israel. He was talking about Jerusalem.
When they became a nation, was there a mandate put into place where it's like, if I was a scattered Jew at that time, can I come and get citizenship in Israel? Do you know anything about that? So if I was a Jew that had been scattered from my home, did they do anything to try to bring those people back?
Oh yeah. There was actually a very wealthy man, and God spoke to him to build a bunch of apartment complexes And this was like in the '20s and '30s and '40s, I believe it was. I, I've heard the story a couple of times, but because God said, I'm going to start bringing the people from all over the world. But yes, if you were Jewish lineage, Jewish descent, they opened their arms and said, come on. And there's been over a million and a half. I think it's— that's the number that have come just from Russia alone. Wow. So it's been a magnificent— I mean, yeah.
So you're seeing— I'm just saying you're seeing it take place.
Yes.
Very significant way.
Yes. Yes, yes, yes.
Of them returning back from the ends of the earth.
So in basically in 1967, Jesus's words were fulfilled. The Gentile rule over Jerusalem, the capital— and remember, that's the city God loves, that's where the New Jerusalem is going to actually come, right— had come to an end. Now Jewish people were ruling Jerusalem and Israel once again. That's huge. So then Jesus makes the statement in Luke 21 And this is verse 25 through 27. And there will be strange signs in the sun, the moon, the stars, and here on earth. The nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides. People will be terrified at what they see coming on the earth. That's a big one right there. For the powers in the heavens will be shaken. Then everyone will see the Son of Man coming on a cloud with power and great glory. Now, why did I read this? Because there's a lot of people that say Matthew 24, Luke 21, Mark 13 all deal, all happened in the first century. No, Jesus did not come with great power and glory in the clouds. That's why I said there are actually two time periods he's talking about. He's talking about the first century, he's talking about the 21st century. All right, so now we know that he's going to come in the clouds because in Revelation 1:7— and a lot of people say Revelation happened already in the first century, and how, how, tell me Who are the two prophets that prophesied that caused the plagues to whoever resisted? Who is the man? You know, we could go on and on, but Revelation 1:7 opens up with, behold, he is coming in the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him. So that tells us when Jesus returns in the clouds in great glory, I mean, mighty, mighty men of the earth are going to cry out for the rocks to fall on top of them. They're going to hide in caves. They're going to cry out for the earth to cover them because of the glory. I mean, this is God Almighty. This is the one who put the the stars in the universe with his fingers. He's literally coming back in all of his glory on a white horse with his saints with him. This is going to be quite a day, and it's something the prophets of old even wrote about long before Jesus's first coming. The prophets of old— Isaiah writes so much about it, so does Zechariah— about when he returns and he judges the nations. So we're going to take a break in the conversation. I, I will get right back to it quickly, but I want to talk to you about how I study my Bible. I mean, for decades I've used Logos. And in fact, for this podcast, I actually was in using the AI feature. Arden, talk about it.
Yeah, I mean, Logos will just take your Bible study just so much deeper. It will give you the amazing context, the understanding. And they have actually have two offers. Number one is it is completely free for any of our listeners that are listening. They can sign up and get free for up to 60 days. Then the other offers, you if you already have Logos, they have a massive resource bundle that actually includes a lot of our resources that they're selling for 90% off. And so they can find all of this information over at logos/bavir.
And I wanna make sure all of you understand the AI does not pull from the internet. It pulls only from your books that you have in your library on Logos. So when I say I used it, I asked it I asked it the question and it gave me the scripture references and what the commentaries say on it really quickly. I didn't use it to do my outline of my notes. I used it to be able to enhance what I was already going to say to you. So this is where it will greatly help you if you're doing personal studies or if you're teaching a small group. I encourage you, please go to logos.com/bavir and sign up today. This takes us now to Jesus's discourse in Luke 21 He talks about the parable of the fig tree. This is amazing, Arden. Jesus says, so when all these things begin to happen— have they begun to happen? Yes. Okay. It began to happen in 1967, right? Well, actually, really '48, but our start date is '67, right? Because that's when Jesus said that the time of the Gentiles is fulfilled. Then what? This generation is not going to pass until all these things come to pass. So when all these things begin to happen, stand and look up. Oh, I could spend time on that one right there. The Greek words for stand and look up are remarkable. There's actually a whole chapter in this book on stand and look up, what he's talking about, right? For your salvation is near. Then he gave them this illustration. Now listen, this is crazy. Notice the fig tree. Now listen to these words, or any other tree. Yeah, he didn't just say fig tree. Or any other tree, when the leaves come out, you know without being told that summer is near. In the same way, when you see all these things taking place, you can know that the kingdom of God is near. I tell you the truth. Okay. He just said, I tell you the truth. Can you believe this? Jesus Christ has to preface the statement with, I'm telling you the truth. What is it? This generation will not pass from the scene until all these things have taken place. Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear. He sandwiches this with, I'm telling you the truth, and heaven and earth can pass away, but my words won't. What is it? When you see the fig tree blossom and when what? The Jews have control over Jerusalem. Yeah, that started in 1967. He says this generation Now, let's—
do you say in that story, which I do need to correct something. I said Zechariah, I meant Zerubbabel. But 1967, that's the start date. That's the start date.
Yeah. A lot of people say it's 1948. I don't believe that because that's what I've been asking. Until the time of the Gentiles is fulfilled. It was fulfilled in 1967 when they got Jerusalem back.
When they got Jerusalem back.
Yep. But before we go there, can we talk about something else? It's really cool because he said He said the illustration— notice the fig trees and all the other trees.
Yeah.
What a lot of people don't understand is that when the Ottoman Empire fell in World War I, a bunch of nations were formed. Yeah. And all these nations have trees that represent them. So interesting. You got Saudi Arabia founded in 1932. Do you know what its national tree is? The date palm tree. You've got Lebanon in 1943. Its, its national tree is the cedar tree. You've got Syria in 1945. Olive tree. Jordan, 1946, Mount Tabor oak tree. And then Israel, 1948, the fig tree. Okay, so now Israel did vote that the olive tree is their national tree. However, in Hosea 9, Jeremiah 8, and Jeremiah 24, God refers to Israel as his fig tree. So in looking at the fig tree and the other trees in the Middle Eastern region, we are seeing all this is happening. Jesus said that generation is going to pass, right? And all these things climaxed with God's people getting rule over Jerusalem. So now let's listen to Luke 21. I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass from the scene until all these things have taken place.
So when he says this generation, what— who is he specifically talking about?
He's talking about— and, and I'm going to give you a definition of a generation. Okay. From Nelson's Bible Dictionary, a body of people who lived at the same time in a given period of history. Now stop and think about it. We have a generation being 40 years in the Bible. We have a generation represented as 70 years. And then if you look at the patriarchs, it's 100 years. Now, my dad was born in 1919. My dad passed away in 2015. That was almost 100 years. Yeah. My dad was of the generation in 2015 of World War I, World War II and World War I, 'cause World War I ended, I think in 1919 when he was born. It might've been 1917.
Yeah, I think it was.
Okay, so you see generation, a body of people who lived at the same time. There are a lot of people that were alive in 1967. I was alive in 1967. There are people that were born in 1967. So basically people live to be, about 100 years old with all of our medical things, 95. So I'm going to lean to a generation being 100 years. 100 years. Not 40, not 70, but 100 because of this definition of this word, a body of people who live at the same time in a given time in history. So now if 1967 is our start time, what does that bring us to?
Uh, 2067.
67. Yeah. So what am I saying?
You're not saying that in 2067 these things will happen.
It's— I'm saying we're in the season, we're in the time period.
Yeah.
Anywhere between now and 2067, I'm going to tell you from the scripture, from what Jesus said, I believe we're actually going to see the return of the Lord Jesus. Now there is, there is another proof of this in Scripture, and that is found in Hosea chapter 5 and 6, because you don't want to put everything on just one interpretation, right? If you look at Hosea 5 and 6, Hosea says it's going to be after 2000 years that God would revive the Jewish people. Remember Paul said that God's attention turned to the Gentiles? Yeah, until the time of the Gentiles was fulfilled. Remember James said that that God had to remove a Gentile people out, right? Okay, that has been a 2,000-year time period. Now, has there been Jewish people saved in this last 2,000 years? Absolutely. But his predominant focus has been on the Gentile nations. That's non-Jewish nations, correct? All right, so if we, if we look at creation, we're going to find out we're going to come to around the same time period.
Come.
This is where it's going to get really interesting. Okay, so stay with me. Even if you have to rewind and replay, do it. But we are told in Psalm 90, verse 4, this is exactly what it says. I just read the psalm this morning in my daily reading. For 1,000 years in your sight are but as yesterday when it's past. So in other words, one of God's days is 1,000 of our years. That's what Psalm 90:4 says. All right. If you remember, Peter said— he said, but you, beloved, must not forget this one thing. A day with the Lord is 1,000 years and 1,000 years is a day. That's 2 Peter 3:8, right? Okay. The church fathers and the ancient Jewish fathers all taught that mankind would have 6,000 years and there would be a 7,000-year that the Messiah would reign on earth. And this all correlates with creation because God created the earth in 6 days and he rested on the 7th.
Yeah.
Where are some of these? I'm going to read to you from Job. Job makes the statement in Job 5:19, he shall— you don't have it on your notes because I added it this morning. Job 5:19. So just listen to this like everybody else. Listen, this is amazing. He shall deliver you in 6 troubles. Has there been trials and troubles in these 6,000 years? Yes. Yes. In 7, no evil will touch you. The millennial reign of Christ. Satan is bound for 1,000 years. So we can see Job talking about the 6,000 years for men and the final 1,000-year Jesus ruling and reigning, and that being the time of rest, no evil touching us. I'm now going to read from church fathers. All right. Now I'm talking about people that were discipled by the people that were discipled by Jesus.
Yeah.
So first of all, the Epistle of Barnabas in chapter 15, verses 7 through 9. Listen to what Barnabas says. Therefore, children, in 6 days or in 6,000 years, all the prophecies will be fulfilled. You're not going to find this in your notes. I added this. I'm just—
I'm just looking at the notes.
Okay. Irenaeus. Irenaeus was Irenaeus is the way you say his name. He was one of the great church fathers, well-respected, right? He wrote a book called Against Heresies. In chapter 5, verse 28, this is what he says: A day with the Lord is 1,000 years, and in 6 days creation— created things were completed. It is evident, therefore, they will come to an end in the 6,000th year. Hippolytus, his commentary on Daniel, he says in chapter 2, verse 4, and he wrote this book in AD 205. All right. So in the beginning of the third century, the Sabbath is a type of the future kingdom, for a day with the Lord is 1,000 years. He's quoting Peter here. Since then, in 6 days, the Lord created all things. It follows that in 6,000 years, all will be fulfilled. Yeah, Commodians wrote in AD 240, we will be immortal when the 6,000 years are completed. So not only do we have Job writing this, we have Enoch writing it, which I didn't bring his in, and we have early church fathers. So this is a common known fact. Now here's what I want to say. The church fathers and the Jewish fathers saw time broken up into 4 ages. All right? The age of creation, or they call it the age of chaos, is 2,000 years. The age of the law, or the age of Torah, is 2,000 years. The age of grace, they actually called it 150 years before Jesus came. The Essenes wrote the age of grace would be 2,000 years, and they said the kingdom age would be 1,000 years. Now, it makes sense because what? God created the sun on the fourth day, When did Jesus— was he born? In the beginning of the 4,000th year, right? Another indicator would be God rested on the seventh day of creation. That is when we will go through the millennial rest where Jesus will rule and reign with his resurrected bride. Right. All right. So the span of the ages is delineated by key indicators. This is really interesting. Smart, smart, smart people. Have taken the Book of Genesis, the Book of Jasher, which Jasher is referenced 3 times in the Bible, and it was found in the Dead Sea Scrolls. They've taken from the Book of Chronicles, the Book of Ezra. They have been able to determine— this is mind-blowing. And this— I mean, this is really something. They discovered that Adam was actually created because, remember, it says when he was 130 years old, he had Seth. So they were able to pinpoint it. They said Adam was created around the year 3925 BC. So if you go to— if—
wait, sorry, Adam was created when?
3925 BC. Is that registering? All right, let's—
so this is my question is, what are they pinpointing the date to?
So they've been able through the genealogies to bring it right up until the time of the patriarchs, and then they knew the time period after the beginning of time is obviously when God creates day one.
That's what you're saying.
When God— Adam— this is when God creates Adam. And then you're saying we don't know how long it was from when he created the heavens and the earth till the time he created Adam. I mean, that's what I'm trying to ask. I want to leave that one alone. Okay. I know some people say, hey, strictly universe was created 7 days, 6,000 years ago. I I see some things in the Old Testament that can show that there might have been some things on Earth that happened long before Adam was created. Because if you look at Genesis 1:2, it says the Earth was without form and void. Yeah, it actually— the Hebrew words mean chaotic. And, and, um, what's the other word mean? But one of them is chaotic. I never see God creating anything chaotic. So could this been from the result of maybe Lucifer falling into the earth, creating chaos, and there had been some kind of other species that maybe they became disembodied spirits. And, you know, we could— it could be the Nephilim, it could be these, these people that were around. And I don't know if they were people, but beings that were around before. Yeah. So, but we do know—
yeah, we don't know any of that.
We do know that Adam was created in 3925 by just looking at the genealogies, right? So if you add 2,000 years, what do you get? 3925 plus 2,000 is 1925.
Yep.
Do you know that's the time that Abraham was walking the earth? Hmm. It's remarkable. Okay, now if you add 2,000 years to 1925, where you come to— let's see how good your math is—
2,000 years.
2,000 years to 1925 BC, where do you come to?
2,000 years 25?
Nope, 75.
75.
Okay, okay. You add 2,000 years to 1925 BC, you come to 75 AD. Okay, when was the temple destroyed? 70 AD. When was, when was the Second Temple in Qumran destroyed? 72 AD. So you can see all the animal sacrifices stopped in 72 AD. Oh, isn't this interesting? Age of the Law. Now, even though Jesus came in 32 And by the way, the Essenes, you know what they taught? That most prophecies would be fulfilled the final 50 years of an age. So think about it. The age ended, the age of the law ended in 25 AD, and the final 50 years was 25 to 75. Jesus crucified in 32 AD, and then we've got the temples being destroyed in 70 and 72. Isn't that interesting? Yeah, that's what the Essenes wrote. Come. Okay. Now, if you add 2,000 years for the Age of Grace to 75 AD, where do you come to?
2075.
2075. Now, remember I said if you put a generation to win Jerusalem, just take it, you get 2067. So do you see that our two different references are coming out around the same time period? Yeah. So do you see that we are absolutely in the season? Peter writes, 2 Peter 3:2-4, I want you to remember what the holy prophets said long ago and what our Lord and Savior commanded through your apostles. Most importantly, I want to remind you, in the last days, scoffers will come mocking the truth, following their own desires. They will say, what happened to the promise of Jesus' second coming from before the times of our ancestors? Our ancestors— other translations say fathers. So you can see these people are not unbelievers. Yeah, everything has remained the same since the world was first created. So they believe in creation. They call the church fathers the fathers. So you can see there's actually believers making fun of the very fact that Jesus will return. That's scary. So Peter goes on to say they deliberately forget. Deliberately that God made the heavens long ago. By the word of his command, he brought out the earth out of the water and surrounded it with water. Then he used the water to destroy the ancient world with a mighty flood. And by the same word, the present heavens and earth have been stored up for fire. They are being kept for the day of judgment when ungodly people will be destroyed. You know what he's saying right here? Are you forgetting the fact that God, like, caused an entire ocean to split and people to walk across on dry ground? Yeah. Are you forgetting the fact that God gave people 3 million people and their animals drink in the middle of the Sinai Desert? I mean, he goes, this is what he's saying. All right, so in essence, he's saying you have lost sight of how powerful the God is that we are serving. But then Peter concludes with this— he doesn't really conclude, he goes on to say, but you must not forget one thing. What's the one thing he tells us not to forget? A day is a thousand years, and a thousand years is a day. To the Lord one day is 1,000 years. This is your third one. You ready for the third one? Hosea 5:14-15, Hosea 6:1, 2, and 3. Now, I really go into this in depth in the book, but I'm just gonna say this. He said, I'm going to tear Israel into pieces and I'll return to my place. To return to your place means you had to leave it and then go back. Jesus left his place by the Father, came to this earth, in the first century, and then he went back to his place with his Father. And in that very same first century, Israel was torn into pieces.
Wow.
Okay. What does he say will happen? The very next verse. Come, this is Israel speaking. Let us return to the Lord, for he has torn us, but he'll heal us. He has stricken us, but after two days he will revive us. Paul said God is going to take a group out of the Gentiles, and he said, and then all of Israel is going to be saved. All of Israel. If you look at the book of Zechariah, Zechariah says that two-thirds of the Jews are going to be killed by the Antichrist. Yeah, the one-third that remains alive will go through the fire, they'll go through the trials, and they will come out as pure as gold. God's going to revive them during that 7-year period. On the third day— what's the third day? The third thousand year after two days, '75 to 2075. Yeah, there's a— that's, that's— and we're not saying it's exactly— our calendars can be off. We're in the season. I'm going to take out Gentiles, and then at last, seven years before '75 comes, I'm going to turn my attention to Israel. And all of Israel, Paul said, is going to be saved. Yeah, they're going to realize this is Jesus is their Messiah. And on the beginning of the third day, what's the third day? What's the third day? 2075 to 3075. That's the thousand-year millennial. On the third day, he'll raise us up that we may live in his sight. So it's going to be something that Jesus is reigning and ruling. Yeah, physically from Jerusalem. Yeah, go ahead.
No, I think my question is going into, obviously, if we're looking at these timelines, the shifts that are to take place within kingdoms, the shifts that are to take place within mankind, a lot of those shifts before Christ's return, I'm trying to figure out what does that actually look like? One thing that I've had this question for a while is like, obviously Daniel talks about the four different kingdoms. But then when the last kingdom he's talking about, he's talking about specifically a kingdom that's mixed. He's talking about mixture of iron and clay.
Yeah, some are going to be weak kings and some are going to be strong kings.
Yeah, I've actually seen recently another version of that in terms of like an understanding of that is could that be the mixture of man and technology?
A lot of people think that, and that is a very, very good point.
Because just what we're— the societal advance. And I'm wondering about that as we're looking at the different kingdoms coming up. I mean, look, I don't—
I don't want you guys to quote me on this, but I sometimes wonder if the false prophet talked about in Revelation is not AI.
Really?
Artificial intelligence. I mean, I, I'm not saying— I'm not saying—
we're not saying AI, but could it be?
And I don't want— I, I don't like going there. I want to stick with scripture.
Yeah.
What I know to be true, but sometimes my mind floats over there. And the other thing my mind floats over is, where is America?
Yeah, because it's not—
where is America in the end times?
Because you referenced all those different trees and it's not—
well, I mean, it's— no, he was talking about the trees in that region, in the Middle East region. You just don't see a presence of the United States in the Book of Revelation. So It causes me to think a lot and pray hard. I'm still praying about that. But the thing that's important is we're in the season. We're in the season of his coming, which tells us, hey, that bride— let's talk about this. That groom, he would make the covenant with the bride and her family. He would go back and build a room off his father's house. And about a year later, because they always knew it was about a year, it wasn't exactly, it could be a few months before, a few months after, the father would say, go get her. Yeah, we are living in the time that I believe the Father's going to look at the Son and say, go get your bride. Now here's where all the controversy comes up with, with people. Okay, does he take the bride before the 7-year tribulation, in the middle of the 7-year tribulation, or at the end of the tribulation? No, I didn't want to talk about it, but I spent 4 chapters writing about it in the book.
Well, we've talked about that too, even on this podcast.
Very little.
I do want to say this is I think this is really important because as you're talking about all these things, my mind's going back to what we talked about with Simeon and how we looked at the three attributes of Simeon, what he was doing, which was that he was a man that was righteous, righteous, and then he feared the Lord, devout, devout, and then he was eagerly waiting. But then the Bible specifically says that he was filled with the Holy Spirit. And one thing I think within all of this, even that question of AI and thinking about that, is I could see people start almost having that panic mindset like, oh my goodness, is, is AI of the devil? Or is this of the devil? Is this like, what am I supposed to do? Are we, are we, we are in the end times like that season. And what I love about it is that the Bible specifically highlighted that the Holy Spirit was with them and prompted him in that manner and form. And I think as we are entering into this time period or in this time period, we have to be hyper-aware as believers of the leaning and pressing into the Holy Spirit. Having that awareness, making sure that we're living— you're saying, yeah, living in the fear of the Lord, living in a devoutness, because understanding that the Holy Spirit is going to be our guide in this place, it's going to be able to shift through what is flesh and what is not, what's spirit, and be able to look at something and say, no, that's just my flesh speaking.
I don't—
I'm not living with a spirit of fear. I'm, I'm living underneath the Holy Spirit. And so that's what I just want to remind people, because I think this is a good Good thing, because I could see people kind of maybe start panicking.
Yeah.
About this difference.
Well, you know, Arden, I, I cried out to God. I said, first of all, I don't want to write a book on this. Yeah. And now I— now that I've written it, I see the fruit of it. Yeah. What it did for me and what it's doing for the people that have already read it.
Yeah.
But I cried out and I said, Holy Spirit, I can't even write a paragraph in this book without your help. And I kept crying out, searching diligently. Yeah, the Scripture. Because the last thing I want to do is lead people astray. Now, this book is really more about— it's not about timelines. Yeah. Now I touch it, but it's more about transformation. It's more about being prepared and being ready. One of the ready, wise virgins who's filled with the Holy Spirit, right? Who, who goes in with him.
But that's great.
There's 28 chapters. For the chapters, I cried out to God and I went through the scripture and God started showing me things in the scripture I had never seen before about the time of— is the bride going to go before the tribulation, mid-tribulation, or at the end of tribulation? And you know what? I think maybe the next podcast or two I'd like to talk about it. Okay. And I will stay with the scripture when we talk about it, with the exception of when I give a little brief snippet of what the early church fathers wrote in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd century of the church. And so that's a little teaser to not miss our next couple of podcasts. Is there anything else you want to share?
No, I think this is great.
Don't forget, if you're watching this before the end of February, the YouTube Live, get a group. And don't forget, you can order the book. You just go into the description, the link is there. We want to send you to your favorite retailer. We want you to get this book as easy and as fast as possible. And I just want to encourage you, please. The early church had meals where they talked about nothing but prophecy because the second most written about subject in the entire Bible other than salvation, second most. And God made it this way because he wanted us to talk together, to discuss things, not to argue, not to be dogmatic, but to love one another and to encourage one another with these words. Paul writes that twice when he's talking about the catching away of the bride. He says encourage each other, not put fear into each other, not to scare one another, but to encourage and comfort one another.
That's great.
And this encourages me, this comforts me, it excites me. I can understand why Simeon had eager expectation. Yeah. And why we are told to have eager expectation for the coming of the Lord.
That's great.
Well, until next time, this has been the John Bevere Podcast. And, uh, Arden, thank you for joining me today. Of course.
