A reflection on the film A Thousand Words and the theme of missed connections. The speaker draws parallels between the movie's plot, where a young man hesitates to approach a woman named Naseem on a train, and real missed-connection posts on Craigslist and city newspapers. The core message: act on spontaneous romantic moments, because the person you admire might be waiting for you.

Hi, I just watched the video "A Thousand Words," and it was basically one of the things that I have recently blogged about at my blog site. My blog is www.infoqueen11.blogspot.com, and it's about missed connections. I really spoke to how on Craigslist in particular there's these, there's a post called missed connections, and perhaps in some city papers that you've seen across the United States, there's been moments when someone saw someone, much like the young man on the train in the video saw Naseem, and thought, oh, how nice, but then didn't take that opportunity, and could be an opportunity that may never come back to him. Hopefully it will. I mean, you know, luckily he was able to locate her and did a lot more because that was still a big reach. But I encourage people after watching this video to really grasp those opportunities when you see someone like the young man saw Naseem on the train and just go for it. You never know, they could be looking for you just like you've been looking for them. You could be the face they've been waiting for their whole lives or looking for. So don't let a missed connection be the reason that you didn't go for something, you know, talk to that girl that you've been smiling at all the time at the coffee shop, or talk to that guy that you see on the train. You just never know. So anyway, that's it. I just want to say that it was a great movie and it totally exemplified my point. So again, please visit my website, www.infoqueen11.blogspot.com, and read my blog post called Missed Connections. Thank you. Bye.
