When kids stamp and roar during tantrums, they're releasing cortisol, the stress hormone. Verbal regulation takes time to develop, so physical outbursts are normal and healthy on the way there. Parents don't need to worry about the noise.

I love this question, and here is what I want to say about it, which is actually, if they stamp and roar to express an emotion, that's a good thing. Because when your body is full of emotions, it's full of cortisol, which is a stress hormone. And if you can let out the stress hormone by stamping and roaring, it's an excellent way to let it out. Obviously we want children to be able to stay calm and not have necessarily explosive emotions, but that takes time, and helping them to express it verbally takes time. So I would say encourage the stamping and roaring, don't worry about it. And comment below so you can get my great new free guide, The 10 Best Ways to Manage tantrums and mood swings.
