Right, Fred, you've got to give him the toy!" which gets the response, "It's not fair!" Try this instead. "Oh no! Gosh! Two little boys and one pink 'Pram!' 'Oh dear!' 'Hmm, I wonder what you're going to do about it?' When you're dealing with friendship or sibling squabbles, it is so much more effective to put it back on them to come to a solution rather than getting involved yourself.
