This is a YouTube video titled "Interview Horror Stories #4 Worry about Yourself!" containing a monologue by a career coach sharing an interview coaching story. The coach discusses a candidate who was overly concerned about other interviewees, advising viewers to focus on themselves during interviews. The content is aimed at helping job seekers avoid common mistakes and improve their interview success.
Foreign with career coaching now. And welcome to interview horror stories. As you guys know, I do both interview horror stories and interview success stories. So this is number four, and it is worry about yourself. So this is about a candidate who I was coaching on, doing some interview coaching with her. And she was. She just kept talking about, well, who else is interviewing? And. And how do I find out who else is interviewing for the same position? I kept trying to tell her, don't worry about anybody else. Just worry about yourself. Well, it literally consumed her, just worrying about every other candidate that may or may not be interviewing for this position. She went into the interview and actually asked the interviewer, you know, how many other people are interviewing? She started asking them about their backgrounds, which was absolutely. It was horrible. I can't believe that she did that. But it actually, again, her just worrying about all this consumed her. So worry about yourself. There's going to be other people interviewing against you. That's just the way it is. For every position, there's anywhere from two to sometimes six and seven people that are interviewing for the same job. The best thing you can do is just worry about yourself. Don't worry about anybody else. I swear, if you worry about yourself, you're going to get through the interview very, very easily. Just put everybody else out of your mind and worry about yourself. All right, I'll be back again with other interview horror stories and interview success stories. And again, these. I do these so that you guys don't make the same mistakes. And I share the success stories so you guys can copy those. All right, I'll talk to you guys soon. Bye.
