Two people talk about finding a niche supporting adoptive parents. Speaker A describes the moment it clicked, the excitement that followed, and the fear about investing and taking the leap. Coaching and an internalized coaching voice helped them move past the fear and act.
There's always like this idea in my head, but I didn't know how to formulate it until I met you. And then I was like, this is exactly what I've been thinking about. I always thought, how can I help adoptive parents more? And when I was in the schools, I did post adoption support part time. So I always thought to myself, there has to be something more I can do. And then when me and you talked and we were talking about my niche, I'm like, this is it. This is exactly how I can do that. Yeah.
When you figured that out, you're like, this is it. This is how I can actually do it. Can you speak about the emotions that came with taking this leap of faith?
Having like that aha moment, so to speak, was exciting and I knew I wanted to do it. But there was definitely this level of fear. The investment was fearful, the work was fearful, not knowing exactly what I was getting into. And there's still, it's still there sometimes. But I will say through our coaching, I feel like I have taken a big leap over that. Or when I start to at least feel it, I. I hear your voice in my head, like, fear is not going to get me.
