This YouTube interview (created and uploaded by Carly Hill) features a conversation between two speakers about moving from one-to-one clinical therapy into online coaching. The guest describes discovering Carly's Therapist to Coach accelerator, feeling understood by the program, and learning practical skills she lacked—particularly online marketing tasks like creating Facebook groups and writing in a copywriting style—to build a sustainable coaching business beyond private practice.
And then what led you to Therapist to Coach accelerator, or what was even your emotions coming into Therapist to coach accelerator? You knew you wanted to be a coach. I'm assuming you were just like, I don't know, the floating pieces to actually make this come to fruition.
Well, first of all, your, your content like really, really spoke to me. And I remember that we had a call together before I think you even had a setter. It was like maybe two years ago. And I just felt like you got it. You got like how therapists are stuck in these one to one paradigms and how the business model is not sustainable while we're supporting people with their mental health. And you could just tell you have the blueprint that I needed because I didn't know where to start. And now that I've already done the program, I'm so happy that I did because even if I googled it for the rest of my life, I don't think I could have put these pieces together. It's taken a lot of, to learn how to like create Facebook groups. And I'm, I've always been a great writer. I've never learned how to write in copywriting style. That was a huge transition for me, learning how to, to formulate my words in, in that format.
It's totally different than building a private practice. It's so different. It really is being a coach, especially in the online space because it is a saturated space. There's a lot that goes into it.
