Short excerpt from a YouTube interview (Therapist to Coach accelerator participant) in which a participant describes benefits of joining the program—especially the supportive community. Key points: community reduces isolation, enables collaboration (not competition) among therapists-turned-coaches, and complements accountability, momentum, and coaching calls.
What? Is there anything else before I ask you, you know, some advice that you would give to clients that are thinking about making this leap? Is there anything else that's been really beneficial for you in this month of joining the Therapist to Coach accelerator? Besides the accountability and the momentum and all the different coaches and calls?
I would say the community has really been great. I know other programs come with a community, and this isn't completely. You're not able to control for it completely. But the group that I'm with right now, everybody's, like, very attentive on the calls and, like, helpful with adding comments or their own advice or what lands with them. And that has been a game changer, too. I don't feel so, like, isolated in it, and I really, really, really appreciate that.
Maybe that's just because you're in a community of other therapists. It's just the therapist in them, they want to chime in and give that feedback.
Yeah, yeah. And maybe it is that. But it has felt great because then I'm not as alone in it. Right. Like, you can have other professionals that maybe have worked with kids or have. They're also doing parent coaching that we can kind of bounce ideas and it's not seen as competition, but actually, like, collaboration.
Exactly. Well, again, I'm so excited for you. I'm proud of you. The work that you've done in this short month, you have so much ahead of you that you haven't even gotten to in the course. So I'm glad you're enjoying it thus far.
