Two speakers argue for taking unplanned career risks. They say betting on yourself opens up new skills, expands who you can reach, and creates paths to passive income and retirement savings you wouldn't have otherwise.
What advice would you give to somebody who was thinking about making this transition? Or maybe they're like you and they weren't thinking about making the transition. I kind of just fell into their lap. But you were willing to take the risk. Anybody who's listening, what do you want to say to them?
Yeah, I think if you are at a place in life where you can try something new, take a risk and you want to, you want to do something big. And I think that's what I love about this. You have so many options or I have so many options. We can do, talk to someone. Like it's not one on one clients. You know, we can bring on so many people and work with so many people and it's worth it. I mean it's worth, I think discovering yourself and things that you didn't think you could do and I think that's been rewarding. It's just kind of like I said, doing the organic marketing and being able to talk about certain technical things. Sometimes I wish I didn't know, but then it's kind of cool, you know?
Yeah.
So I think it is worth just again developing a new skill, learning and then you have, we have like I'm always thinking about retirement. I, you know, we always say, you know, as retirement, as a therapist, we can always do, you know, therapy. But now I'm like, I've just opened up more stuff for retirement and future passive income.
Yep, you're exactly right. Take a risk, bet on yourself. You're your own boss. You get to have an extension of you and have this creative outlet. You can save for retirement, have this passive income, loving what you do, reaching more people.
