EP0012 Your Brand Manifesto

In this solo episode of the Daily Motivation Podcast’s Brand Builder playlist, host Cauveé (the “Inspiration Engineer”) walks listeners through the process of creating a personal brand manifesto. He begins by urging creators to define a single word that captures their brand identity, referencing Rich Keller’s One‑Word program and sharing his own word, “edify.” He then stresses the importance of articulating core values—illustrated with his own “3,000% transparency” principle—and explains how values shape the perception of a brand. Cauveé recounts the evolution of his own brand title from generic CEO to “Inspiration Engineer,” showing how titles and positioning can be refined over time. He offers a step‑by‑step mindset: start with values, reverse‑engineer a manifesto, and continuously tweak the brand narrative. Finally, he highlights the need to align the manifesto with SEO, AEO, and GEO frameworks so that the desired brand concepts surface in search and AI‑driven discovery. Throughout, he calls listeners to engage via comments and location sharing, and points to additional resources like the One‑Word program.

You already Now what it is, welcome to another episode of the Brand Builder playlist where we are building personal brands for the creator economy, where creators become brands, brands become businesses, helping creators build brands that last and define categories. Whether you are a speaker, investor, author, consultant, coach, fill in the blank, and everything in between, this is your place and your space to thrive. So with that said, I am super pumped to get into today's episode where we're talking about what they call your brand manifesto, all right? Your philosophy around your brand and your identity. What are the thoughts? And I want you guys— challenge— oh, by the way, uh, leave us in the comments or share or publish, post, all the things, where you're located, uh, where you're tuning in from, where you're getting this information, so that me and my team know how to connect and make sure that we're doing a good job. And just want to make sure that we can support you wherever you're located. Back to what our topic is of today, um, brand manifesto, brand authority, brand philosophy, right? I want you to think about, if you haven't done this exercise this program called One Word. Highly recommended. Shout out to my brother from another mother, Rich Keller. Haven't talked to him in a long time, but what this program is designed to do is to get you to think about your brand, your identity, in one word. One word to summarize everything that you are as a brand, as an identity. My one word was edify, right? Which was crazy that we were already working on the EdifyU brand at the time, but the word that came back was I'm an edifier. And there's a process how you get to this one word, all right? We're not going to talk about that today. What we're going to cover today is within your manifesto, within your philosophy, and here's the key word I want you to write down What are your values as a business? Majority of businesses have core values. You go and work there and they tell you what their values are. Normally it would be like honesty and integrity and all these beautiful things, right? But they're very common. Not that there's anything against something common. My point is, when you start thinking about your brand, when you start thinking about how you show up in the world and what you want the world to think about you when you show up what one word or words come to mind? And I would recommend starting with your values. Ray Dalio says your principles, how you show up. Let me give you a few examples. One of our core values that we brought to the market is 3,000% transparency. Why did I bring 3,000% transparency into business? Because my personal belief is that marriages, businesses, country and sovereign dynamics and all these things would be so much better if human beings would choose to be transparent instead of trying to hide whatever's going on. And so with the reason, if we're not talking about, you know, there's no reason for someone to ask me about like my sex life or something like this unless it's someone that I'm dating and someone that we're moving in, in that way, right? But there's no reason for an entrepreneur to ask me that question. But my point of— reason why I bring that up, for the most part, I'm an open book, and I want our community internally to be an open book with each other so that we can really have trust and we can really build great relationships because, you know, this person's not holding back on you. And when you don't know, does this person really have my best interest at heart, it impacts the relationship. So 3,000% transparency is one of those values that I stand behind, even though the ultimate one word— when you think about Cauveé, we want you to think about someone that is going to speak light and love and hope and all the beautiful things over you as an edifier, Inspiration Engineer, right? Now, even saying Inspiration Engineer, that is something that goes along with the brand of Cauveé. When you see the logo, when you see my face, you immediately think Inspiration Engineer. And majority of people are like, what does that mean? That was another word. That's another part of the brand identity. All right. And so as we're talking about your manifesto, we're talking about your philosophy, and we're talking about your values, we're also talking about your identity. And what is it that you want people to think about when they think about you? This is super important. All right. Now, it doesn't mean you got to come up with it all today. Mine has just over time it has continued to evolve. It hopefully will not continue to evolve, meaning that hopefully we got it, like we, we know what it is. But it went from building authority to building legacy to now it's really about serving the creator economy at the highest level and bringing legacy into that from an incubator accelerator venture perspective to be able to support what we say awakened dreamers at the highest level. And that is what we're looking to do. Now, I also say that same— it didn't start off to be that, right? I don't know when we got the awakened dreamers part. It was just Cauveé Inspiration Engineer and wasn't even the title. Then the title came in thereafter, you Inspiration Engineer, because I didn't like CEO and head of this, and, uh, it just wasn't really me. So I was like, Inspiration Engineer is my title. And so then we just kept gradually getting more aligned to what the brand really represents. And that's what we want you to start thinking about, is what is the word or words you want people to immediately think when they think about your brand. And I would start with the things that you value, okay? Because your values are really going to set you up as getting the juices going and really getting the flow going. So that, assuming you don't get to go through the One Word program— I mean, not everybody's going to get to work with Rich Keller 101. He's the only one— he's the only person that I know that has this program. Um, and you know, he'll tell you his story as to how the program came to be and all the things. But not everybody's going to get that level of one-to-one access. So I'm giving you some higher level things that you can do in order to start narrowing it down. And think about it like a sculpture, right? You just keep chipping away. Or like a person that's digging up dinosaur bones, right? They just keep brushing away. An archaeologist just dust by dust and just piece by piece. And that's what it is when you're really getting into your, your brand. But again, getting to that manifesto and getting to that philosophy and getting to the words that you want associated with you when people think about you— start thinking about your core values first, and then reverse engineer and keep adding and keep tweaking, keep evolving, and keep positioning. All right, now one last thing I want to say before we get out of here. Today's episode is very short. Is you also want to think about this from an SEO, AEO, and GEO framework. It used to just be SEO, and that's the only one I'm gonna cover for today now that we've got AI that also scrapes and does all the things to find out what it knows about you. But anytime someone does a search, to keep it simple, whether it's on ChatGPT or Claude or whatever AI in the future, or Google or whatever, you want to make sure that those same things that you want known for populate in your content. All right, and so you want to somewhat regularly— and we don't publish really our values outside of like me sharing it with you right now. We don't publish the 12 values that we have internally amongst our ecosystem just because we don't feel the need to. Right. But the things that we talk about, the topics that we talk about, the things that we bring thought leadership to on a regular basis, those things you can find on our blog assets and on all of your content assets that you want to be evergreen. Remember, you want it all to point back up to the same concept, theme, topic, category, value, philosophy. Manifesto. They all tie together. It's your boy Cauveé Inspiration Engineer. I love you, I appreciate you, and until the next time, you already know what it is. Peace!
