QuickCoaching 03 Creating a Hook

A coach explains how to create hooks that get people to sign up for webinars and hand over their email. The focus is on keeping hooks simple and using them to build your contact list.
So hooks can not only get somebody to register your webinar, but they can get you the most powerful thing in your business, which is contact information. Are you with me? All the hook does is takes a person, okay? And just makes them curious so they register for your webinar. All the hook is trying to do is get you to register. What's the point of a hook? To register, okay? Now watch what happens when they register for a live webinar, for an auto webinar. It doesn't matter. What do you gain when you register? You gain an email address, right? And a name. You get their info, okay? This is what you got. What's the most powerful thing in your business? Your list. Right? The most powerful thing. So even if they don't even come to your webinar, you've obtained the most powerful thing in your business by giving a good hook, okay? So hooks can not only get somebody to register your webinar, but they can get you the most powerful thing in your business, which is contact information. Are you with me? So hooks important? Not really. Not really. The reason is, is because they're simple. They're simple because a hook is just simply how to benefit without pain, okay? This is all hook is. They're really simple, actually. They're not even crazy. You know where people get in trouble with hooks? When we overthink them, we overthink them, okay? So here's what you're going to do. I want you to think about who's doing this, okay? So you have to think of a particular audience, okay? Everybody know your audience? Who's your audience? What does this audience want to know? How to blank without blank. Right? That's what they want to know. Right? And so if audience can see how to blank without blank, what are they going to do? What's peaked with them?
