Hi, I'm Dr. Tenisofsky, the dermatologist at Allure Medical Spa. Today I wanted to talk to you about the Excel V laser. Excel is used for a variety of different purposes. It is a vascular laser, so it treats rosacea, small blood vessels called phalangectasia, generalized redness, something called poikiloderma, which is a fancy way of saying areas on the chest or neck that have a lot of redness due from long term sun exposure. Now, Excel sometimes may require more than one treatment. Sometimes up to three is needed to notice the full benefit for your treatment.
