This is a YouTube video titled "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ALNfoB3X8Q" containing a monologue or single-speaker discussion about the use of different botulinum toxins (Xeomin, Botox, Juveau) in cosmetic procedures, focusing on precision and pricing aspects. The speaker explains their practice's approach to treating forehead muscles and the introduction of Juveau in 2019.
When we see that so quote unquote Spock brow where somebody brows like this here that sometimes is from something like this port here that spreads a lot or from overdoing the forehead center forehead. We don't really have a preferred one. It depends on where we're at but we typically in our practice use Xeomin and Botox. We don't use all Botox or all Xeomin. We use Botox in the frontalis muscle of the forehead and Xeomin on the glabella and the rabicularis muscle. We want precision. Then out came 2019 juveau and juveau was designed to overcome one of the limitations of toxins. They don't have any interest insurance indication so they can mess with the price more allows them to bring the price down. So I think that's put a little bit downward pressure on pricing toxins. Not a lot of good studies on it comparing to other toxins but appears to have spread similar to Xeom and more precise so we might use in the same areas.
