Dr. Charles Mok argues that fear of HRT causing breast cancer is overblown. The Women's Health Study found fewer breast cancers with estrogen-only therapy, and combining testosterone with estrogen may reduce risk further, based on 15 years of research.

Look at the breast cancer concerns. Breast cancer is obviously a big concern for women for righteous reasons, and we need to survey for it. But the fear of using hormones because of the cause of breast cancer is actually very misplaced. Again, the study, the Women's Health study, showed women on estrogen only the premiere and had less breast cancers. And combining testosterone with estrogen markedly reduces breast cancer risk. According to studies over the last, say, 15 years. Estrogen does protect against cardiovascular risk. Testosterone does to some degree.
