Short YouTube interview (uploaded by Dr. Charles Mok on 2012-11-05) in which a patient, Jane, recounts non-surgical varicose vein removal. Jane sought treatment for cosmetic reasons, reports minimal procedural pain, disliked wearing compression stockings during recovery, and is "thrilled" with the results.
Okay, Jane, so what procedures you have done?
I had vein removal for varicose veins.
And what made you decide it was time to remove your veins?
Because they looked horrible.
Okay.
Because I didn't want to put a swimsuit on this summer, and I didn't even want to wear capris.
And how much pain or discomfort did you have with the vein procedure?
Actually, it was pretty minimal. Probably the thing I disliked the most was having to wear the compression hose. Yeah, of course, nobody likes it. The actual procedure wasn't painful at all.
Fantastic. How, like, how are your legs feeling now?
They feel great.
Are you glad you did it and got this done? I'm.
Thrilled that I got it done. Trying to talk my husband into coming in now.
