Topical HRT and Cardiovascular Protection

A German-language YouTube monologue (by Dr. Charles Mok) summarizing observational registry evidence that women who start topical or intramuscular hormone-replacement therapy (including pellets) at menopause have lower all-cause mortality and fewer cardiovascular diseases. Reported cardiovascular protection increases with longer HRT duration. A large Danish study cited an 18–50% reduction in cardiovascular disease for women on HRT (not oral contraceptives). Additional US and international studies of testosterone replacement in menopausal women are reported to show reduced breast cancer risk with or without concomitant estrogen.
