Charlotte Kemp, former PSASA president, invites professional speakers to a futures workshop exploring how trends will reshape speaking careers over the next 5-10 years. The session maps current threats and opportunities, then builds strategies to help speakers stay relevant as their industry changes.

As professional speakers, we stand at a point in history where so much is possible to us, and yet there are still so many threats that could disrupt our own professional speaking careers. Join us at the Cape chapter of the PSASA to explore how to apply futures thinking to our speaking careers. We're going to look at 4 specific areas. What are the trends that affect our profession? What happens when those trends intersect? What do those intersections look like in 5 or 10 years' time? And lastly, how do we respond? What is the strategy that we need to follow in order to still be relevant as professional speakers, as subject matter experts in the future? I'm Charlotte Kemp, futurist, professional speaker, past president of the PSASA, and I invite you to join us at this exercise where we will facilitate thinking that is fit for the future.
