When you have a dream as a child, you do everything to make that dream happen, don't you? You do everything to pretend that you are the thing you dream of. So as adults, we start to forget that you can also continue making decisions that bring you closer to your dreams. That you can recognize what inspires you at each stage of your life and that you can make a decision to start exploring. Exploring dreams is something super beautiful because it doesn't mean that you make a definitive decision right away. What it means is that you recognize that it excites you and you start to see what it's all about. So if you're here, it's because you recognize that you're one of those people whose dream of writing a book has knocked on their door several times in their life. So a book requires these three things from you. One time in your schedule. What's not scheduled won't exist. Get used to seeing this way of building a dream, not just for a book, but for whatever is important to you. If it's not on your schedule, it won't exist because we have too many things, Presence and commitment to you. Right. Thank you. Thank you for showing up to the appointment with inspiration. And notice that what has helped me the most to build dreams like this is having what you are seeing here, a community that guides you and encourages you. That for me, has been the before and after of fulfilling and building many of the biggest dreams of my life. So I'm going to tell you why I fell in love with books so that you know a little bit about the person who is going to be your guide during this week. And after that, we are going to get straight to the heart of the class. Okay. Hey, I had an events company and we were doing very well, but suddenly we neglected the numbers. And suddenly we were in a very, very difficult moment where we had to reinvent the company from scratch. It was one of the saddest moments of my life. Because restarting or letting go of a business that you love is super hard. But we reinvented it. I mean, in the end, we rescued it. But I don't know if it's ever happened to you that when you go through a valley, when you go through a deep pause, that's when you allow yourself to get back in touch with your deepest dreams. Because I was going at a pace that didn't even allow me to look at my dreams. We were so accelerated that we were just operating on automatic. So this wall that was in front of us that we had to face, that we had to resolve and transcend. Gave me the greatest gift of my entire life, which is to slow down and see what I really wanted to do with the next part of my. And it turns out that I wanted to write a book, and I wanted to teach more people how to write a book. So it happened in little pieces. I didn't have a master plan at all to teach the world how to write. I just started building my own dream. So at that moment, when I was very sad, I started to see my partner very happy. But if we're in a mega crisis, why are you happy? It's because I'm seeing a therapist. So I said, no, I don't know if it's happened to you, because. But you say, let's see. I want to do what she's doing. So I go to this therapist, and I sit in his office, and he tells me one of the most powerful phrases I've ever heard in my life. Because I was defeated. Going bankrupt from a business. I mean, I felt really bad. And I sit down, and he tells me, let's start from the premise that everything in your life is fine, and we're just going to work to make it better. And I. How? I mean, I don't have to go to Siberia. I don't have to hide from my problems, right? So he prescribes Luis Guy's book and Louise's book, hey youy Can Heal youl Life. That's the moment that I see as the transformation of my life. Because it was at that moment that I understood that you can take responsibility for your life, for your dreams. So I set out to find Louise Gale. Just imagine, huh? And I found out that she had a course, a huge course, with like, 3,000 people. So there I go with a friend. And in that course, I was telling my friend, you know what? Gosh, I would love to take a course with Louise, but shorter. I mean, shorter quote. And the girl next to me says, hey, excuse me for butting in. I'm just listening to the story. But she gives an unannounced course for writers. They never advertise her, but since it's in San Diego, she always goes quote. And so I take that course, I go to San Diego, and I give myself the luxury of taking a course with the author of the book that saved my life. I don't know if it's ever happened to you that there's a book that transforms you in such a way. For me, it's a beacon book. For me, it's a book that continues to guide me and gives me light. Because I think that if I hadn't followed that little path, I don't know what my life would be like. But I'm sure that the decision I made changed it. So that today I can share with you everything that I'm going to teach you. Because I decided that I wanted to write a book. But not only that, I decided that I wanted to do something like what she was doing. Because what I saw was that she didn't just write books. She. She had a community and a whole ecosystem to help other authors. And I thought about it. This was 15 years ago. I want to one day have a company like this where I can help more people create this dream. And I forgot. And notice how a dream, even if you forget like those who are sharing with me here, suddenly guides you without knowing it. Because I had already forgotten about this dream. And suddenly I release my book, my first one. And many of my friends told me, hey, how cool that you self published. Because I did it all by myself. I know how to teach you the whole process. How to write it, find a publisher, find an illustrator in other parts of the world, upload it to digital platforms, find a way to print it, find the way to book fairs, and find the way to distribute it in all the bookstores in my country. So when people saw all that, they said, how did you do it? I want to know, right? Well, I'll create it as a course so that I can teach it to many people. And that's how Author W was born a few years ago, which is the course where I teach people how to write and self publish their books. And after her, I mean, it impacted me because suddenly the fact that she published turned into all this. And then after that, it turned into all this. And just look at what's happening now. This is what that brave step of deciding to write a book has become. And that is the brave step that your book is inviting you to take today. You don't know where it will take you. You think it will only be about writing a book about you, for you. But you notice how many books there are out there at that moment. Because you will realize this. Write it down along with today's date. Transcending in someone else's life is the best way to fulfill your own dreams. When you see a book written by you in someone else's hands, when someone tells you that sentence you wrote changed my life, you won't want to do anything else with your life. When you see that contribution, that is what has filled me with the most life in my entire life. And that is why I want everyone in this world to have a book. Because I know what it feels like. And it is not just for the nice feeling of someone reading it. It is because we are a mirror. We are a mirror. And your job when writing a book is to be a mirror for someone else, but to enjoy doing it. So they have two great gifts for you. Have fun writing. And also let what you're writing be a mirror for someone else. Doesn't that seem like the most wonderful thing in the world? So your mission, if you decide to accept it this week, is to start writing now. Not next week, right now, tonight. Start writing the book that only you can write. For this week's mission. You don't have to know how, you don't have to know anything. Just make the decision of, yes, this week I'm going to start my book. That's all you have to do. The other steps will be revealed little by little.
