Hi, I'm Brad Wilson, general manager of the USA office of the Three Waiters International. Today I'm going to talk to you about our show, the Three. How our company started, what the show exactly entails, and then why it is probably one of the most unique things that you can propose for any event. First of all, how did our company start? Our company started back in 1998 in Sydney, Australia. Now, this was an accident in many ways, although the thought process behind it was not accidental. My boss, Mark Bradley, was asked to do entertainment for one of his friends as a favor at a celebrity party that he was organizing. And so Mark got together some of his friends, actor friends, singer friends. He had a concept in mind, an idea that he thought would be really unique. And the show went off really, really well. And he began to develop the idea, and it got bigger and better and bigger and better. Soon he started having requests just pouring in for the show, and he decided to call the Three Waiters. From there, it grew. They opened up an office in Sydney. They opened up an office then in London, then in the United States. Now we have 100 employees worldwide working for the company. We have performers in most major cities in the countries in which we operate. Our Sydney office has performers in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Our London office has performers all over the UK and they perform all over Europe and the Middle East. And in the United States, we have our office in New York City, and we have performers in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Chicago, Orlando, and several select cities as well where we don't have complete teams. So, oh, yeah, you might want to know how successful we are. We've done now just about 10, 10,000 shows worldwide since we began in 1998. By far during that period, the most popular corporate, private event, act and fundraising event in the world. You probably haven't heard of us, and the reason you haven't is we go by word of mouth and by basic advertising towards the corporate event planners, private event planners and party planners around the world. Somebody that's showing you this video is probably a friend or colleague in the business, because the show that we do is a surprise. The Three Waiters is a surprise prize show. What we do is we appear as if we work on staff in a way that doesn't draw undue attention to ourselves. The three waiters assume identities that make sense. Alfredo is the banquet captain. Jean Marc might be a sommelier. The third waiter might be a chef or a busboy. And these identities establish the reason that we're there. We're there, because we work there and the audience accepts us as part of the staff. So what we do later on is, however incredible it might be, is always viewed through those eyes of watching the service staff in action. At one point in the evening, Alfredo, the banquet captain, stands up. He's Italian, and in an Italian accent, he makes a brief announcement. He comes back later and resolves that announcement. And during the course of that, he sings Vincero, Vincero. You know, it catches people quite off guard and, you know, it's surprising to hear somebody sing that well in such an usual environment. He goes on to explain that someone in the room asked him to had a deal he couldn't refuse. You know, it's a party after all. So, you know, somebody, maybe the president of the company wanted to break things up, noticed he was Italian and said, I'll give you $50 if you stand up and sing. The audience believes that we're there to do our jobs, and they believe that we're doing above and beyond our jobs by doing what we've been asked to do. So this show grows from there. The second waiter, the French waiter, says, well, someone else, later on, someone else offered me twice as much money to sing even more. And then his boss comes back and he's not pleased. And an interactive show happens while the people are having dinner right among the tables. About 90% of their show is among the tables while people eat. So they really enjoy this interaction, this amazing thing. To think that their waiters are this good and this function funny and this interesting. And slowly but surely they begin to figure up it's a show. The light bulbs start to go off around the banquet hall, and by the time the third waiter comes in, it turns into a three Tenors concert. The three guys challenge each other to sing who's the better singer? And it gets bigger and better, and pretty soon they're friends and it turns into a concert. Now, you may wonder if the three waiters isn't well known in the general public, you know, and it's all by word of mouth. How could word of mouth spread so quickly? Well, every time we do a show, every Friday night we do a show or Saturday or whatever, and on Monday morning we come back to inquiries based on people seeing us at these performances. We've done performances for five different royal families, for corporations ranging from IBM to Ford Motor Company to Cristal to Cartier. Anything you can think of is involving high end events. We've also done fundraisers for the March of Dimes, We've done the American Heart association fundraisers around the world in different countries. And these events are enhanced by unique entertainment.
You're about to witness. The world's best kept entertainment secret. The only act to win Entertainer of the Year twice at the USA Event Solution Awards. Loved by royalty, VIP guests and mothers of the bride. The three Waiters are the highlight of weddings, private parties, corporate and charity events all over the world. Which is amazing because the three Waiters is a secret. In fact, the three waiters might be at your dinner function right now. But you wouldn't know it until the head waiter stepped up to the microphone.
Excuse me, ladies and gentlemen, May I have your attention for one moment? There is a problem of lost property. A lady silver sequin handbag with a gold shoulder strap. So if it is yours. Well, it's funny you say that, sir. One more thing while I have your attention.
The head waiter returns to his duties. And everything appears to be back to normal.
Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Jean Ma Mark Moutier. I am the sommelier for tonight. You remember earlier when my boss Alfredo was asked to sing a little bit of Pavarotti for you? I just have been offered a $100.
He only a Frenchman though, okay? He cannot sing opera like an Italiano can sing.
Oper.
Ladies and gentlemen. There's been for very many years a rift happening between the French and the Italians. And back and forth all the time. Because when the Italians sing, you do not sing with any passion.
Suddenly, the operatic battle is joined by a third waiter.
Today the minutes seem like hours. The hours go so slowly and still the sky is light. You guys were magnificent. And they looked like waiters too. So they had us all the food.
What follows is a funny, sophisticated and totally interactive experience.
I tell you something, my friend. Passion is our middle name.
The Three Waiters continues to surprise and delight audiences all over the world.
We love that. The wit, charm. Yeah. The voices, they were so great. They were wonderful. The show was fantastic. I'm gonna tell all my friends. And I want your card. You were absolutely brilliant. What can you dream? And you know you're not dream. Great fun. Everybody had a ball and I couldn't believe the great quality voices that were out there. Everybody had fun and I would love to see it again. That's how great it was.
The original Singing Waiter show. The Three Waiters is the very definition of surprise entertainment. And is simply the best way to enhance your next event. They look like waiters. They work as waiters. They are the three waiters.
That was the easiest $50 Alfredo has ever made as a waiter.
