Aleka Shunk walks through her keyword research routine for growing organic traffic. She researches keywords daily, maintains an ongoing list, and says thorough research takes a couple of hours but can be done monthly instead.

I literally will keyword research words every day just because I, I love doing it. And if I find a keyword, just if I. And I randomly come across them every day, I'll search it up quickly and see if it's something I'm going to add to my. And I do have an ongoing list, then I do it, you know, every day. But you don't have to. You can do it in, you know, monthly increments because I know it takes time, like, to do quality, thorough, deep keyword research. Should take you a couple hours.
