I'm Chelsea Miller, and I make knives. I've been making knives for 12 years now. So the knife that I made when I first started out looks nothing like the knife that I make today, which is a more refined, exacting chef's knife. These are repurposed from horseshoe rasps. And what I was so drawn to is this amazing crosshatch texture. It has this beautiful history to it. Today I make several types of blades. One of my favorites is a really cool all-purpose kind of blade, and it's a Western style. Another knife I make has a rocking forward motion blade. Another knife that I make is either for steak or for fruit. And then my favorite thing is to just make wild and weird unique pieces. Like, if you see this, something really special and unique.
