Chris Haroun argues that getting fired can mean you're not aligned with your passion. Michael Bloomberg was fired from Merrill Lynch before building Bloomberg. Walt Disney was told he wasn't creative enough. Haroun says real passion feels like fun, not work, and you do it even on vacation.

Today I want to talk about famous people that got fired because they were doing what they're not most passionate about in life. So I'll kick it off with Michael Bloomberg. He got fired by Merrill lynch, and he started his own company, Bloomberg, a big financial software company. It's worth billions of dollars. Pretty amazing story. Walt Disney was told that he's not creative enough. And a lot of famous actors got actually fired from jobs because they weren't passionate about what they're doing. You know, Confucius said, find an occupation you love, and you'll never have a job for the rest of your life. And so if you're about to get let go or you hate doing what you're doing, or if you've been let go in the past, fear not, because it might be a reflection that you weren't passionate about what you're doing. So how do you know if you're passionate about what you're doing? Well, if it doesn't feel like work to you, if it feels like fun, then that's something you should do for the rest of your life. And so I always ask myself, and I tell my friends, the way, you know, you'll find your passion in life is when you get up and you're on vacation and you keep doing what that job is. That means you're doing what you're passionate about. You love doing what you're doing. So I'm gonna go back and spend some time with Andrew and Dylan. I'm getting confused which one's which. My dad used to do that with us. So if this was helpful and only if this is helpful, please hit the like button and subscribe, and I will see you manana. Thank you.
