Welcome to Tomorrow University's community meetup here in Berlin. The theme of this meetup today is artificial intelligence as a driving force for economy and society. Let's dive right in. Our Berlin meetup has been a fantastic opportunity to really pull together the last 2 weeks of community immersion that we've had within TOU, which is an opportunity for us to bring together new learners as well as our experienced learners for really deep and meaningful conversation. So over the last couple of days, we've had 120 learners from all around the world coming together, really having a great experience.
The TUU in-person meetups, they're the beating heart of Tomorrow University because that means that we bring together everyone from a global context, and it really brings this term of university to lifeā united in diversity. We have so many people from around the globe that come together, connect, build meaningful relations in order to change the world.
My session today was called Artificial Intelligence for Societal Impact Challenge, where I channeled everyone to think about all the implications that artificial intelligence has nowadays. We talked about every way in which we can address real-world challenges by leveraging the power of AI. and of course, creating positive change. I did a workshop, Brains versus Bots: Who Wins in Sustainable Marketing? Because I really wanted to test how AI can improve us getting sustainable marketing right, and if it can in fact persuade consumers into more sustainable choices or lifestyles.
So today I gave a workshop about improvisation theater. That is a theater form where you basically make things up on the spot, on stage. The reason why I chose to give this workshop to the community is to really make them familiar with a new perspective on how you can be more in the moment and react to unexpected circumstances. And we basically had a lot of fun as well.
I mean, we discussed how human skills are on the rise when artificial intelligence is growing its impact on our lives. And I think what we touched upon was this idea of artificial intimacy. So are we actually still really connecting with each other? How are our relationships forming these days, especially when technology takes so much time in our lives? And what are the competencies that we need to stay connected and stay true to ourselves? And I think the second layer was how mental health and AI are connected. And I think we figured together that AI can be a huge lever in diagnoses and prevention and early support, but that we will hopefully never lose the human touch and the deep sense of support with each other. And I got amazing questions. So we really talked about organizations and what they can do for mental health. We talked about love. We talked about fears of maybe self-diagnosing ourselves too much and how mental health is just everywhere right now.
