The video records a two‑day Frankfurt meetup organized by Tomorrow University’s Master of Science in Sustainability, Entrepreneurship and Tech, held at Deutsche Bank headquarters. Program Director Sami Asad introduces the theme: career growth and job opportunities in the new era. A panel of speakers—including a Bosch HR leader, a Plug and Play investor, an early‑stage founder, a project leader of the Impact Festival, a Rentenbank strategy manager, a bachelor student, and a master’s student—share perspectives on emerging work trends. Key points include the importance of mission‑driven entrepreneurship, continuous upskilling and collaborative adaptability, gratitude‑focused non‑toxic leadership, challenges of measuring sustainability impact, institutional startup support through programs like Idea Camp, the need for deep human communication despite AI/VR proliferation, coaching for human‑centric skills as automation rises, and personal resilience against limiting expectations. The session concludes with a motivational call to pursue one’s strengths and an invitation to future meetups.

Hi, my name is Sami Asad and I'm Program Director for the Master of Science in Sustainability, Entrepreneurship and Tech at Tomorrow University. And I'm here in Deutsche Bank headquarters, who are one of our partners for the Frankfurt meetup. Our topic for the meetup: career growth and job opportunities in a new era. So let's see what we've got on.
I think the meetup today with the panel was really interesting because the topic we discussed is really about the future of jobs in the new era and what does it mean when we want to build growth. So having that perspective from Marie, who is from Bosch leading HR, having a perspective also from Anna from Plug and Play as an investor, and myself as an early-stage founder with corporate experience prior, I think really helps then to see where the opportunities of the next steps are.
Since we are an early-stage investor, pre-seed and seed investor, the most important for us was always the team. You know, in a sense, what we look for is really the founders that come with a mission. So not the founders that come and want to build a company because they want to be rich, because usually it will fail. You really need to— in order to be a successful entrepreneur, you really need to believe in what you're building.
We need people who are willing to do upskilling, to reskill, do different things. People who can easily adapt, people who want to collaborate.
I think the ability for leaders to look at gratefulness and gratitude, to create non-toxic environments, an environment that cares, is also the trend.
So my name is Linda. I'm a project leader of the Impact Festival. I find it really interesting how people respond to the Impact Festival and what we're doing and how our sustainability measures are at the moment. I would just like to try to develop the discussion further on, yeah, how do we measure impact in the end? is that possible? And I was already approached by 2 of the students, and I think it's really great that the discussion can go on and we can talk about how we can, yeah, maybe dive into more collaborations even.
I'm Lukas. I'm Referent Strategy and Innovation at the Rentenbank. I take care of all the startup programs. The purpose of the keynote I had today was to present a little bit our activities in the field of of startups. We wanted to show the Idea Camp, which is part of our startup program where we help young founders to get the knowledge, to get coaching in order to start their business in a structured way.
My name is Louis. I'm in the bachelor's program and I hosted a session on communication and the 3 levels of communication today. It's my mission to educate people how to bring out the best versions of themselves Because in our day and age, we stray away so much from each other. You know, we have AI, we have VR, and it's really important we get back to us because collaboration is the key. If we just work together, we can take on most challenges we face.
Hi, I'm Flor. I'm a master's student at TUU, and today I gave a workshop on coaching, coaching for everyday people. This is important for the future jobs. Because the more we work with machines, the more we need to be human, and coaching approaches that.
Don't let people talk you down. They want to keep you average and mainstream, not because of bad intentions, mostly because your ambitions are above their scope of what's possible. It is the people who stand out that achieve the most remarkable things. You know what's inside of you. You know what you're capable of. Connect to your strength and keep pushing, even though others don't believe in you.
So that wraps it up for our 2-day meetup in Frankfurt. We really hope you enjoyed the program and we look forward to seeing you next time.
