The video introduces Tomorrow University of Applied Sciences' online program, emphasizing three core pillars—sustainability, entrepreneurship, and technology—as essential competencies for 21st‑century learners. Speakers argue that current education is merely a digital copy of offline teaching and must be rebuilt from the ground up using modern digital tools. The program offers fully remote, flexible learning that lets students study from anywhere (e.g., a beach in Costa Rica) and integrate study into their daily schedules, supported by collaborative platforms like Slack. The mission is to empower and educate changemakers who can drive scalable positive impact, fostering a shared ambition to learn together and change the world.
Chapters
Sustainability, entrepreneurship, and technology are the topics of the 21st century. So we need people that are able to think in sustainable ways, create solutions, which is entrepreneurial thinking and acting. You're discovering a problem, you're seeing the problem as an opportunity, and then develop a solution. And we need people that are literate when it comes to technology. And these are the core pillars of every learner in the 21st century, and that's why Sustainability, entrepreneurship, and technology are core of our program.
And what Tomorrow's Education allows is the possibility for all of us to change ourselves as our lives change, and a lot of different circumstances unfold unexpectedly in our lives.
We have this huge shift in terms of digitizing the whole society, but education right now is not digitized, it's just brought online. It's basically a copy of the offline in online, but what needs to happen is to We think education completely from scratch by using modern digital tools, and this will completely change the world in terms of education.
To drive positive change at scale, we empower and educate the changemakers for a better tomorrow today.
I make use of my time so that I don't sit in some classes and using time just because I need to be there. We never have to be. somewhere at Tomorrow's Education.
Yeah, it's interesting that you say comfort, right, because it's fully, fully remote. The combination of an application that is— you can even do it, and I know we have a student in Costa Rica right now that learns at the beach, right? That's possible. But you can also learn on during your work session, during lunch break, and, and use that time effectively with your laptop. And combining that with, let's say, Slack experience that enables people to interact with each other and then online sessions that more or less round up the learning environment.
Combining entrepreneurship, tech, and sustainability is a recipe for success.
It's not about them being the best school graders, it's not, not about them being the best performers, but it's actually this shared ambition of learning together and by doing that changing the world.
