15 yr old cold calling a business

Hello?
Cold calling at 15. Solid.
Hi there, is this the owner of Construction?
Asking, is this the owner of blank? This infers that you don't know who they are. This is not good. Starting off on the wrong foot. Yes, I am.
Yeah. Hi there, boss. You have 20 seconds really quickly.
Asking for permission to talk. Good.
All right, thank you for your time.
Saying thank you for your time, this infers that your time is not as valuable as his. Lowering your status. Not good.
It's Tamar, and I'm currently ringing to help out my local construction companies.
He doesn't really care about you or your name. You to come up with the value or focus on his problems first. You got to get quicker to it.
Before I get into anything, I want to let you know I am offering a 14-day free trial. You have nothing to lose.
Immediately when you start offering a free trial, when somebody hears free, they don't see it as valuable. So again, lowering our status. Again, not good.
I'm not trying to take your money.
Saying to him, I'm not trying to take your money. It's like saying to him, don't think of a pink elephant. Just don't say it.
Doing is I'm looking to help construction companies in the area by taking care of their whole entire social media client process.
Tie this in social media client process, we got to tie it into an actual outcome. What is the outcome that he's producing? It's not really going to connect as much to what he's actually doing in the business. We just need to use simpler terms that actually connect to what the prospect wants.
If you don't mind me asking, do you get most of your work from word of mouth? I get it from the big companies and main contractors. Okay. Okay. Well, all the way from generating the leads for you.
So he understands how he gets prospects and then goes right into just pitching him more. It would be better if he dove into, well, hey, are you completely booked up right now? With too many people, or could you take on more jobs? Getting a need first before you start pitching, this is going to work so much better.
Qualifying the leads for you, you know, to make sure you don't deal with time wasters all the way to booking them in on your calendar for a quotation. So essentially I handle everything for you. You don't have to do any work. Does it sound interesting to you at all? No, not really. No, no. You're not interested at all?
Getting rejected, it happens. It's just going to happen no matter how good you are at cold calling. But kudos to him being 15, diving into the fire. Definitely a lot more than what I did at 15.
