"Gimme a day to think" vs. $8M Closer

Christian Polk coaches someone hesitant about a high-ticket program, cutting through self-criticism to expose the real block: fear masquerading as laziness. He pushes past the need to feel ready and forces a choice: let fear freeze you or use it to commit.
Maybe just think about this for a few days.
What do you actually need to go over in your mind? Just to see if I can help.
I don't know if I can tell.
If it's worked for hundreds of other people that do exactly what you do, is there any particular reason why you feel like it wouldn't work for you?
I'm just an idiot. I guess sometimes I'm lazy.
Can I share perspective on that?
Go ahead.
I've trained thousands of guys and I've had a good number of people telling me they're lazy. It's never been the case that that's actually the true issue. For example, if you had a winning lottery ticket, you know you're going to make millions of dollars if you cash this lottery ticket in. Do you feel like you'd be lazy to cash that thing in? On the other end, if you had a lottery ticket, you didn't know whether it was going to win or lose. You feel like at that point maybe you would be a bit lazy. So it's like just right now we haven't had the winning lottery ticket. We haven't had the right knowledge to actually start making the type of money we're looking to be making. Therefore, we can't get motivated to do jack shit. Why are we stopping ourselves right now of actually getting that winning lottery ticket to get the right knowledge so we can actually start making the money we're looking to be making? Like, what's really holding us back?
Maybe it's because there's a puppy that I was looking at.
You believed in everything, right? It could be a very awkward conversation. But what's actually behind that? You've seen the videos, you've seen the testimonials. What more do you feel like you actually have to see in order to make you more certain? And then if you even saw somebody who's basically like your twin brother and they did the program, they got amazing results. You've seen that they got amazing results. Does that actually solve your problem? But does it actually solve your problem? What's the only way you're going to know if this actually works for you specifically? There's nothing I can show you that's actually going to prove that it works besides just doing it. So what makes you want to be so sure before hopping in and actually giving this thing a try?
I just don't want to do it. I just don't want to do it without fear.
Who said this is something you had to do without fear?
No one.
Who do you know who actually grows inside their comfort zone?
No one.
Well, if you're sitting over there cool as a cucumber and you didn't have any fear whatsoever, it means we wouldn't be talking about anything important. So this feeling you're feeling right now, it's exactly what you're supposed to feel. The only thing we actually get to do with it, because it's not going to go away, is we get to just choose how we use it because we really have We have two options. Number one, get this feeling and we can allow it to constrict us and we don't do anything about this. The second option is use it in taking massive action. We put some skin in the game and we make it work because it has to work. Which one would you rather do? Allow it to constrict you or shape it into taking massive action?
It's both.
Why shape it to do massive action?
It's in my best interest to do that.
But what happens if we allow this fear to constrict us and we just don't do what's in our best interest? What happens then?
Nothing changes and we'll back on out.
Are you cool just with nothing changes and you staying where you're at?
No.
There's a difference between a want and a need. Do you actually need it? What do we need to do to make sure we're actually doing the things that are required of us to put ourselves in the best possible position to actually start making the money we need to be making?
