NEVER do what this rep did, financing and leaving the call

Short YouTube transcript (two speakers) giving sales advice: do not send a financing link and then leave the call. Instead, the rep should guide the prospect through financing on the call to avoid drop-off, overcome objections, and close the deal immediately.

Give you 6k right now. But I don't have a 6k on the. Well, it's not 6k. It's like you could do two payments. So if you need to do 3k and then you need like 30 days to do 3k, you can do that. If you want to pay in full, you'll save a thousand dollars. Yeah. I really want to work with you financing. Let me send you the invoice for it. I'm going to hop on like a few other calls. I'm going to have you just see if the financing option does go through for you and that if it does, then we'll use that.
Why are you sending the financing and then hopping off the call? Just walk them through the financing. It's your job to close the deal. So what can happen is if you send them the financing and just for whatever reason, they have an objection. If you're not there, the likelihood that they're going to go through it just lowers. It's going to take you an extra five minutes to just go ahead and help them go through the financing to get them on board right away. Just go ahead and do that. Never send the financing and then hop off the call. Just text the person that you have booked like, hey, I'm going to be five minutes behind due to a meeting. Okay. If they're actually going to show up, the likelihood that being five minutes late, they're going to say, oh, you. I'm not going to hop on this call is very low. Just close a deal that's in front of you. Burn the hand is worth two in the bush. I'm pretty sure that's what that saying is. So just close the deal that's in front of you. Walk them through the financing. It's super simple. Do not send it to them and just hope that they fill it out on their own. Just lead them and walk them through the process.
