Watch me Future Pace a prospect on a $7.8k deal

Christian Polk walks a prospect through future pacing to move them from $10K to $30K monthly revenue. He gets specific: a corner apartment in Tokyo with skyline views, cheap food, travel to Vietnam and Japan. Then he contrasts that with what happens if nothing changes: boredom, depression, feeling stuck.

So help me understand, man, because we're going from $10,000 per month to $30,000 per month. Like, that's not a small jump, but at the end of the day, it's just numbers on a screen, right? It's what it does for you. What difference does that actually make for you?
It's just a stupid answer. Like, oh, I get more money. No, that just opens up more options. It's obvious when you say it.
Oftentimes the obvious answer is like the most profound answer. So when you say like open up more options, because like, dude, I'll talk to 100 people, I'll get 100 different answers. Like, what do you mean like open up more options?
I mean, $10K after expenses is one thing. I can maybe travel more. I just don't have to look at the bill anymore when I go to go to a restaurant or buy something.
And when you say like travel, where would you go? I don't know, somewhere in Asia.
Why? It's a new culture.
I don't like the way the US is right now, politics. I get it, man. I just got back from Vietnam. But you, you mentioned something interesting, dude. Like you said, freedom. Where does that drive come from to like really pursue and like have more freedom? Or why is that so important to you? I just don't want to be stuck in the same routine all my life. It's just boring. You breaking out of the routine, like is there a certain country like in Asia that you'd really want to go? Japan or something. I like it, man. So you being able to like break out, like have more of that freedom, not have to worry about the bill, like just do more of the stuff you want to do, like take that trip to Japan.
What does that actually do for you? Like personally? I'd say I just grow more. I'm just happier in a place like that.
Is there, is there like a certain like city or like location? Like what do you want the setup to actually look like?
I just want to eat cheap food and just not worry about bills and just chill.
Yeah, dude, if you had to like picture, like let's just say like you're in Tokyo, you have like a corner apartment, like you got an amazing view, like that's where you're taking your fucking sales calls. You being able to actually like look out, see the skyline, and actually feel that level of freedom, like at that moment, how would that feel? It's awesome. But I have to ask, if nothing does change with our skill set and the amount of money that we're making, how likely is it that we're going to be able to have that level of freedom, move to Japan in the next 6 months? Very unlikely. Why not? Not make enough money, thus I don't have much options there. What happens if nothing changes? Like we stay stuck, we don't have the money, and we don't have the freedom.
I just stay in my hometown all day. I just see all these other people doing the same thing I want to do.
Well, some people are fine like staying the same, bro. Like, be real with me, what would be the actual day-to-day reality impact for you 6 months from now? We're still stuck in the same spot. I'd be depressed, or eventually get depressed, because nothing's progressing, nothing's changing. And do we want to accept that reality? Because ultimately, that reality is a choice. No, don't be the cage.
