Behind the Scenes of my Tribe and Live Q&A!

In this live behind‑the‑scenes session, Christie Renee Hawkins walks viewers through her Inner Tribe (VIP) membership, explaining pricing options ($47 / month or $474 / year), the limited‑time early‑bird bonuses (six exclusive painting tutorials worth $37 each), and what members receive: monthly new paintings, guest artist sessions, a growing video library of over 85 tutorials, technique and process videos, live Q&A replays, and a supportive private Facebook community. She contrasts the Inner Tribe with the lower‑cost Painting of the Month Club, clarifies that the Club is included in the Tribe membership, and outlines how access works after cancellation. Christie details how to navigate the two platforms (the membership website and the private Facebook group), highlights community values (joy‑giving, positivity, optional faith‑based devotionals), and shares several member testimonials and success stories. The session includes a rapid Q&A covering topics such as template availability, worldwide access, faith inclusion, and enrollment deadlines (closing Tuesday midnight, with future openings limited to once a year). Christie ends by inviting viewers to a live painting session later that evening and encourages sign‑ups before the deadline.

Hey everybody, I wanted to jump on live with you this morning and we're going to do a little behind the scenes so you can see what being a part of my tribe, um, looks like. So I want to be able to share that with you and, um, yeah, give you a little bit behind the scenes. We're going to do some screen shares and show you what it's like, and then I'm going to answer any questions that you may have about joining the tribe because we are only open until Tuesday night at midnight. And I'm pretty sure last night during the Facebook Live I kept saying Wednesday, and that is wrong. Um, we close Tuesday night at midnight, so tomorrow night at midnight. Um, while you guys are jumping on, I would love for you to, uh, say hi to me in the comments. Let me know you're here, where you're watching from. Welcome, Martha is a brand new member. We are so happy to have you. And while you guys are doing that, I'm just gonna pull you up on my Facebook feed as well as through my streaming device, just so I don't miss any comments. Make sure I'm in the right spot here. Can you guys see this? Pickles is trying to get in here to say hi. Pickles, can you fit? Come here. I guess she changed her mind. Okay. Oh, here— oh, it's Piper. Piper's other puppy. Did you see Piper run up here? The doors are meant to prevent them from coming in here when I'm live, but that doesn't seem to be working this morning. So good morning, everybody. Um, I'm gonna start off with just kind of going over what Tribe is, what Painting of the Month Club is, and what is available in my store. So basically, there are 3 different ways you can paint with me. You can buy single tutorials in my store, you can become a part of Painting of the Month Club, or you can become a part of my Inner Tribe VIP membership. So I'm going to kind of break these down and go over all of them for you this morning. I'm realizing I didn't bring my water in here. Hey Carol, welcome! Thank you, you just became, um, and she thinks she needs to become a Tribe Sister. We would love to have you. Um, so really quick, um, we have about an hour and a half left for you guys to join and become a Tribe Sister and get the early bird bonuses. So, um, let me show you that first. I want to talk about Tribe first because there's a limited time for you to sign up and be a part of this and get the early bird bonuses. So I want to cover that before we do anything else so you can see exactly what you are getting when you become a Tribe sister. So give me just a second, we're going to go to Chrome tab. I'm going to pull this over here. Okay, Valerie says she's super excited. We are glad. We are so glad to have you. Um, and I'm going to put up— because this is one of our most common questions— is the cost to become a part of the Inner Tribe. So I'm going to leave that up while I'm talking about it. But, um, so it's $47 a month You have two options: $47 a month with no commitment, you can cancel anytime, um, or $474 the year, and that is a one-year contract, and you get two months for free. So two options to become a Tribe sister. Hello, Miss Carmel. Hey, Barbara. Hey, Tori. Um, okay, so this is the early bird bonus. And these retail for $37 apiece when they go into my store, and you're getting all 6 of these painting tutorials loaded directly to your membership library as soon as you become a member. So it's all automatic. Um, I wonder if I can zoom in on this. Let's make it bigger. Not much, but, um, so you get the Funky Fall Flowers, you get the Spring truck with my little birdies. You get the Spring Chapel, you get our truck with sunflowers, which has been super popular. Um, sunflowers in general, right? 3 out of the 6 of these have sunflowers in them. Um, sunflowers in a mason jar and my lovebirds. So right now these are not available anywhere else, um, except through my membership. So these are exclusive deals right now, um, and you're getting all 6 of them for free if you join before noon. That is Central Standard Time, and again, you have about an hour and a half left to be able to join and take advantage of those. So what do you get with TRIBE? Now we're going to talk about that. I'm going to pull this up and we're going to switch screens. And make sure I'm clicking the right one here. Okay, so this is the difference between the different ways I have that you can paint with me. So we are going to talk about— again, we're going to talk about Tribe first. It's the one in the middle. So, um, Christie's Inner Tribe right here. Let me pull this over here so I can Better show you. So we're talking about right here, the $47 a month. You get 3 new painting tutorials with me each month. You're going to get a guest artist each month— or say guest artist, it should be guest artist, um, business coach, or crafter. So we have a variety of people coming in there. Brooke Riley from Refra— Refabbed, uh, Damon Oates from Deco Exchange, who is my personal business coach, and he's also come into our group and given you guys training on Etsy and sell on there because you can take my designs and paint your version of them and sell them on Etsy. Um, unlimited access to our video library, which this also needs to be updated because now we have over 85 to choose from. Technique videos, live Q&As with me. Um, the best part, I always say this, is the Inner Tribe membership community. So this is your tribe sister community inside our private Facebook group. It's the best part of the group is because It's all about doing it with a group of ladies who are like-minded and learning the same things that you're doing. It's an encouraging, uplifting group of women. Um, I will say, if you— let's just talk about this for a second. You can either be a joy sucker or you can be a joy giver. If you tend to be a joy sucker, um, this group is probably not for you. If you tend to be a joy giver, then it probably is. So we keep this group super positive. No negativity is allowed. I'm very protective of my community and Um, we just don't let any, as my friend Casey Hope would say, stinking thinking go on in there because there's— girls, we got enough drama and negativity in the world. I'm not gonna let it be a part of my group. Um, you get bonuses and freebies like being a part of my challenges. I do challenges inside the tribe as well where you guys can complete bingo cards and do different things, and you get bonuses and prizes for doing that kind of stuff. Exclusive tribe discounts, which is 50% off of like my kids camps, kids tutorials. Um, there will be like boot camps coming later this year. As a Tribe Sister, you get those 50% off. You get free access to the Painting of the Month Club. And, um, so you see that $20 over here and the $47 here? This is included. You do not have to pay anything extra for that. Um, and then last but not least is you get the devotionals with me very open about my faith. I share a lot about God's love and truth inside the tribe. And if that's not your cup of tea, that is 100% okay. We just don't want anything negative being said about it because it's my business and my group, and that's how I choose to run it. And you can skip the devotionals if that's not— if that's not your cup of tea, but that is a part of it. And right now I do them on Monday mornings. Throughout the month on the Mondays that I am home. So that is everything you get as a Tribe Sister. And then before I go on to Painting of the Month Club and the single tutorials, you guys can read those. Um, I'm just gonna jump over here and check for questions. Um, oh, I love this! Diane said, good morning, I joined after doing the Spring Funky Flowers, which I love, and now my Facebook feed is filled with joyful flowers. Isn't that awesome? We can change what we view, change what we take in, and we are what we surround ourselves with. So surround yourself with some positivity and love. And then Miss Linda Stewart, she is also a Tribe Mentor, so she's in the group kind of like a big sister. And she's been with me, and she said she joined over 2 years ago. How things have changed for her life and family. We all loved paint. My friends always want to paint with me. There are so many paintings all over my house, and this has been so, so much in my life. And, uh, I'm just going to share a little bit of Linda's story with you too, is when she started painting with me, hadn't painted before, and before she knew it, she ended up teaching kids classes in her local town. And it just became, like she said, this whole part of her life. And so it's so exciting to see, um, how it does change your life, sometimes in ways you can't even expect, because God's plans are bigger than yours and you have no idea what he wants to do with you and the creativity that he's put inside of you. Um, thank you, Dot. Um, let me see, there was a question up here. Beth says, good morning, I joined with the recent spring flowers class. So far it's been very fun, everyone has been so supportive. And I'm so glad because that's what we are all about. Um, Sue said, I am a member of the Painting of the Month Club. Will Tribe membership be on top of the $20 monthly? So I think I just answered your question. Um, if you, if you are currently, Sue, a member of the Painting of the Month Club and you would like to be in the Inner Tribe instead, all you have to do is sign up for the Inner Tribe and it will automatically cancel your $20 a month payment for Painting of the Month Club. So it replaces it. Your $20 will cancel and then your $47 will start today. Um, uh, Jeannie, good question. If you're already a member, will you get those 6 loaded into your library? Of course. So I always take care of my tribe sisters first and foremost, and every time I give a bonus to the public, you guys automatically get that. They will actually be loaded to your library today. Um, thank you, Nina, said, I'm so glad I joined last fall. Um, Christie is so inspirational, and painting has been good for my mental health. Absolutely. You and me both. Jackie says she has joined and excited to be a part of this group. Hello from Georgia. Debbie's asking, she already purchased the Funky Fall Flowers. Can she change to the Spring Funky Flowers in the 6 bonus paintings? We can't change anything out because it's one set bundle. But the good news, Debbie, is that the Spring Funky Flowers is already included in Tribe, so you will get that as well. Um, okay, so let's talk about the Painting of the Month Club. You guys can see it up here on the screen, but the Painting of the Month Club, for those of you who are maybe not ready to commit to doing the $47 a month, um, but you still want to paint with me and, you know, paint my designs, we have the Painting of the Month Club. These are exclusive paintings that I have hand-picked that are not available anywhere else. They're not in my store. I keep them in a vault and I save them for this membership. And you get one tutorial a month with me. They are uploaded to your membership home on the first of each month. You have 24/7 access to them. So it's like painting on demand. You can paint whenever you're in the mood for it. You just log in to the website and it's there for you. It comes with the resources, a template if needed, a color and supply list. And, um, so that's the Painting of the Month Club. So $20 for that, which is open right now. Let me show you if we— I wonder if we have it on here, Allison. We should. Yep, right there. So, um, Allison is my graphic designer, web designer, all the things. She helps me behind the scenes. So this is our current Painting of the Month Club painting. So you can sign up for this for $20 a month, but this is included in the Tribe membership. So if you become a Tribe sister, you will automatically get access to this painting. So that's Painting of the Month Club. And then last but not least is the single tutorials. If you go to shopsocialeasel.com, you will see all the different tutorials that I have for sale, and you have lifetime access to links to those, um, the color list, all the things. And this is just no commitment. You can buy what you want, um, and just kind of browse around there and check those out. So, um, let's jump back over here to some comments. Um, see if I have any questions. Sam says she's been a Tribe Sister for over a year. Great therapy for post-stroke recovery. I'm so glad that it is good for you. Adriana is asking, is this only available in North America? No, it is available worldwide. So, which is just still crazy to me, you guys. I started in Springfield, Missouri teaching local paint classes, and now I teach thousands of women a month how to paint all over the world. We have members in Australia, the UK, Canada, America, United States. Those are just the four that I know of. We may have people from some other countries that I didn't name, but I know we have several members from those countries, and it's still just bizarre to me. Um, Sherry said, I can hardly wait to get started with Tribe. Uh, I can't read the comments about myself, makes me uncomfortable. I can't wait to make connections with the other Tribe sisters. You guys will love it. Um, Gala joined Tribe last September. With all the mini paintings available, I made all my family presents last year. So much fun. That is awesome. Um, Jamie, good question, said, do you always paint with acrylic for Painting of the Month Club or watercolor? For Painting of the Month Club, up until this point, I have always done acrylic. That's not to say I wouldn't choose what I call a watercolor version of acrylics for a future Painting of the Month Club painting, but I haven't done that yet. Um, but it wouldn't be actual watercolor, most likely it would be watered-down acrylics that I treat like watercolor. Um, Karen said, I'm so glad I joined, had so much fun doing the funky flower. I've painted on rocks for over 7 years for the kindness movement, and I'm so happy to now be a part of learning to paint on canvas. Absolutely. And now think of those pretty rocks that you're going to be able to paint from all these different— all different painting inspiration. Um, also a good question, Cindy. Um, she said, for Painting of the Month Club, would I have lifetime access to the paintings purchased each month? Yes. So for Painting of the Month Club, you do get lifetime access to those. So let's say you joined for 3 months and then canceled. You would have access to those 3 paintings, one per month that you paid for, and you can log back in and view them any time that you want to. This is something similar that transfers over to TRIBE, and I want to be very clear about this. As a TRIBE sister, the same would be for you. With the Painting of the Month Club painting. So if you cancel your Tribe membership, you lose access to everything listed here except for the Painting of the Month Clubs that were there for the months that you paid. Okay, so because Tribe is 3 years old, we're celebrating our 3rd birthday, that is 3 years worth of content. So it would not make sense for me to let you sign up for 1 month and gain 3 years access. To all of that and then cancel and keep that access. Does that make sense? So, um, the Inner Tribe works like Netflix for painting. As long as you are a member, you have access to everything. When you cancel, you lose access to all of that except for the Painting of the Month Club paintings that happened during your time as a Tribe sister. Um, Barb is asking, is it all through Facebook? The community and my live teachings are through Facebook. Then we have a website where all past— where you see this unlimited video library, um, the technique videos, those two things, that is on our website. We have our own membership site home. So there are two places you access the information. Awesome. Darla said, I just joined Tribe last week and was in Painting of the Month Club for a year. Awesome, you've been with me since the beginning of Painting of the Month Club. She said, you will love this group, it's so positive and fun. Um, Vicki said, is a traceable available for all your tutorials? No, because, um, just like the two flower paintings, the Funky Fall and the Funky Spring, um, those aren't something that you need a template for. My landscapes are not something that you need a template for. So it depends on the way that I teach it. If I feel like you need a template for it, then I will provide one. Otherwise, I show you step by step how to do it. And I will tell you this right now, do not let that deter you, um, from becoming a member. Because what you will realize the more that you do paint with me is that you don't always need a template. And I, I literally teach in such simple, small steps that anyone can do it regardless of their experience. Um, so yeah, I've been doing it for almost 8 years. We're at like 7 and a half years of me teaching, and I've taught thousands and thousands of women how to paint, and I would say 95% of them have never painted before. Um, so if you're in that group who has never painted before, maybe you're new to it, you will not be alone inside the group at all. Awesome, Kim said she's going to join the monthly club. We're excited to have you. Um, okay, that's all the questions I see right now, and so now I'm gonna switch to giving you guys a behind the scenes view. So let me stop the share on that page, and I think I already pulled it over here, didn't I? I did. I have two monitors so that I can do this with you guys. Well, I'm lying. I thought I did. Let me type this in real quick. Okay, here we go. Going back to share. Okay, so, um, um, Diana, let me answer your question real quick. She said, I bought Abstract Birds. Where, where do I find it other than email? Um, if you bought it from the store, my shop, socialeasel.com, you got a link for it. We sent you a welcome email with all that information, and you have a Vimeo link where you go and view that whenever whenever you want to. So you just need to save that, like bookmark it or something, or just save that email so you can refer back to it anytime you want. Um, okay, so now here's the fun part. You guys want to see inside the Inner Tribe? This is everything you get access to when you become a member, and you got about an hour left to join and get those 6 bonus paintings that I promise you you're going to want and you're going to regret if you don't go ahead and grab them now and get them for so you don't have to pay for them later. Um, so when you come into the membership hub, you're gonna see this. I want you to hit this play button. I'm not going to play it because I don't want to watch myself, but this is a welcome video from me, and I'm going to explain to you where to find everything. My biggest piece of advice for you when you come into this tribe is please go look at all the information we've provided. We have done video walkthroughs, we have a getting started checklist, we have all the things to help you get organized and understand where things are so that you do not get overwhelmed, as long as you follow what we've provided. If you don't and you just try to go at it on your own and you're just looking all over the place for all the things and you're not following our welcome letter and you're not following this welcome email— or I'm sorry, this welcome video— you will feel overwhelmed. So make sure you watch this. And then we put— just keep it easy for you— we have a link right there to join the Facebook group. So these are the two places right now. I'm on the membership website, and the other place where our group is, where I do my teachings, is inside the Facebook group. But I want to show you all the fun things that we have in here. So let me click on Vault, and I'm going to give you a sneak peek of some of these paintings. So this was my farmhouse series that was insanely popular. They're just fun little animals. We're going to be adding to that this year. Again, you get 3 new paintings with me every single month, so this is just what you have immediate access to and you can go to anytime you want. Um, we've got a couple different bunnies, we've got a flamingo and a peacock. Abstract Birds is part of Tribe. If you like sea life, I've got a seahorse and a jellyfish. I don't know why that's on that, um, but there's a really pretty jellyfish there. Um, starfish and an anchor. Tons of flowers. So if you love florals, girl, I got you covered because I love me some flowers and there's a whole bunch to choose from. And what I'm showing you right now is just from the last 3 years, my very most current lessons that I've done with the girls in— what month are we in? April. So February, March, and April are all in the Facebook group. So there's, you know, 9 other tutorials in our Facebook group in addition to these. So I just kind of want to scroll through and give you an idea. Landscapes, I've got several different landscapes. We've got a lake, a Tuscan landscape, several beaches, Paris because I love Paris. We've got a couple different barns. I'm actually working on a new one that will look completely different than these two. So that kind of gives you an idea of that. Mix media, kind of like I did with you guys last night live, palette knife technique. And we have a lot more to add to this. So if you haven't worked with a palette knife before, you're going to learn how to do that. And then let's talk about the holidays, because I love some holidays, and we have all the holidays covered, and you have a plethora to choose from no matter what you want to do. So I'm just going to kind scroll down here, let you browse that a little bit. Here's your spring birdhouse again, already in there for you. Some summer paintings. I love fall, so we got lots of fall paintings. Um, and I'm going to pause right here for just a second. This is another type of tutorial I teach you guys inside. So if you are to the point where you are wanting to learn how to create your own art and you don't always want to just copy my designs and learn how to paint those, but you really want to get to the point where you're making your own compositions, I give you guys inside Tribe what I call learn the process videos. And this is where I take you behind the scenes with me and kind of let you into my brain and let you see how I come up with my ideas and how I come up with my own designs. And this was a great one where I show you how to, number one, make a still life how to take that still life and put it on canvas, and then how to turn it into a painting. Um, and that's just an example of one of them. I've done this several times inside the group, and I will continue to do so because, um, feedback from my group is that it's one of the most popular, um, ways that I teach because they love— it's literally live. Like, I, like, I am taking the idea from my head and you guys are watching me create it. So they tend to be longer tutorials because they are run that way, but it also allows you to see me make decisions and help you become a better artist and build your compositions as well. Um, and then we have all the winter, and I'm done scrolling. Um, I'm gonna go over here to the side column. So see this over here? That was just all the Vault, just full tutorials. You also have the technique videos where you have values and color mixing, backgrounds and shading, brush strokes, um, how to do buffalo plaid, just some extra little techniques that I've shown you guys. And then we have some of our guest speakers in here. This is a very valuable section of the website. This is our live Q&As from the past. And again, in some of the challenges that I've done with the tribe they have loved going back to these and watching them and are amazed by how much they learned from previous Q&As. So all of this is a part of the membership website, the membership portal, um, that you have access to. So again, I'm just going to go back to my member hub right here, and that's what it looks like. And then you're going to scroll down this column to look at the different things that you have to choose from. And I'm going to show you this again just in case you missed it. If you want to see that preview of the paintings, then you click the word Vault, and then those little mini previews, um, come up for that. And then I'm going to go back up here to My Library. So remember I told you Painting of the Month Club is included. So where do you find that? You find it here. Christie's Inner Tribe is going to be at the top. If you've bought previous challenges or like your 4-day video series from me, those will be there. And then you will see your Painting of the Month Clubs all in separate products, and you just click View Product just like you do the other ones inside of the tribe. So, um, let me jump back over here. And then I'm going to show you a little bit inside the Facebook group too, but this was the main area I wanted to show you. Um, this is a good question, um, Angela. She's saying, where, uh, if I can talk, will there be any information on how to do lives or any behind the scenes technological options to learn. I do not teach the business side of things. I have guest speakers come in and do that for me. So, um, Heidi Easley is one of them. She's one of my best friends, and she has her own membership, and she teaches women how to do paint parties. She's been a guest in my group several times, um, and then we also kind of partner together a lot. So if you're wanting to learn how to paint, you come to me to learn how to paint, um, and you heighten your skills as an artist. And then Heidi teaches the business side of things, and I have a special link for her, um, if you want more information about that, that you can email support if you want that as well. Um, Kathy said, I watched but still overwhelmed for a couple days. And hey, listen, it takes— don't, don't let that discourage you. It's all new, and if you've never been a part of an online community before, it's going to take a little bit to get used to. So just take it, you know, a day at a time. Don't let it overwhelm you. Just enjoy what you can. Start where you can. My advice is, the sooner you pick up a paintbrush and start painting and practicing in your mixed media pad, the less that fear and that anxiety is going to paralyze you and stop you from trying out the new things. Um, oh hey Dot, um, Dot is asking if I have any kind of lifetime membership. I don't right now, Dot, um, but we do have the yearly, so, um, that is the, that is the best deal I can give you right now. Um, Shirley, who actually started local paint nights with me here in Springfield, um, and then I love this story because, um, Shirley's daughter came to paint with me long before Shirley did, and then she brought her to one of the paint nights. And Shirley was a little nervous and, uh, didn't know quite what to think of everything. And then she fell in love with it by the end of the class and, um, came to several more and was one of the very first to join my membership when I offered it to my local audience. And now Shirley is teaching her own paint classes. Classes. So Shirley said, I love having a membership for so many reasons, not only the great variety of tutorials and technique instructions which I can use to help my own paint classes, but the support and encouragement of all the other members is priceless. And I agree 100%. Um, Lori said, I'm with Kathy on, um, short-term memory issues, so to go to the tutorials, where do I go? So again, Lori, two places, only two places. Right now you are watching me on the public Social Easel page. This is not for tribe members. You guys can be here and watch them, but that is not where I do anything for tribe. We have our private Facebook group and we have a membership website. I just showed you the entire membership website. So there's only two places to go. So once you just realize that, save them on your computer. You can bookmark them. One tab for the membership website, one tab for the Facebook group, and save that Facebook group to your favorites on Facebook, and it will make it easier for you. Um, Laura said, I'll never leave my house again. Oh, that's so funny, man. I just skipped over a bunch of comments. Hang on. Um, Awesome. Debbie said, I just joined. She's so excited. Um, Sue's asking, how do I find your Amazon store? Sue, if you go to thesocial easel.com, it's just my website. If you just Google Social Easel, I'll come up, and you go to my blog page, um, the Amazon store is on that page. Stephanie just joined. Welcome. You guys are gonna love your bonus. Mistresses, we got about an hour left. Um, Cindy said, um, I know this is a wonderful painting group because I bought some classes with you. Do you have to be a Christian to join this group? Absolutely not. Um, I know this is basically a Christian-based group, and I'm pretty open to joining any type of group that is different than my religion. I'm pretty open-minded. Can you advise, please? So I don't want you guys to ever feel like you have to share the same faith faith as me to be a part of this. You absolutely do not. But I also want to be very open that I do share my faith. So, um, if that is bothersome to you, then you probably don't want to be a part of this group. If you're open— and I had a lot of women join the Funky Spring Flowers, and I shared devotionals in that group, and I had some hateful attacks. And, um, you know, I ended up crying about it on day 2, but I had some people attack me for sharing my faith even though I was very open that that was going to be a part of it on the page that you signed up for. Um, attack my faith, attack me as a business person, um, for choosing to do that and telling me I know nothing about business because you don't mix the two. And I, I beg to differ, and I do share about my faith. So I just want to make that perfectly clear. But you do not have to believe the same things as me. I just want to be very open with you and let you know ahead of time that I do. And several women who were supporting me during that time and sent me personal messages that I appreciate so much were saying, even though I didn't have— I don't share the same faith as you, I still found the messages encouraging and motivational. And take from it what you can, because at the end of the day, we're all struggling in this world. None of us have it all figured out. And my hope is that I can encourage and lift you up up as much as I can. Whether or not you share the same faith as me, I just want to create an environment that is full of love and joy and happiness. And it's so funny to me because I used to tease my parents growing up, and I was like, I think I was born in the wrong time period because I should have been a hippie. Because— but not really, um, because I don't agree with everything they do. But I really— I just want some peace and joy and happiness. And the world has enough negativity that I certainly don't need to contribute to that or allow an environment where that is contributed to. I want our group to always be a happy and joyful place, and that is my goal and that is my purpose. And so that is how I lead my group. Good vibes only is what I say. Um, Kay is asking, I joined the Funky Flower, I loved it. I don't have a lot of time or place to do it. I'm new to painting. Should I start with just monthly? Um, yes, I would start with $47 a month and join the tribe, because when you're new, you're going to want that community aspect to it. And you got to be a part of the Funky Flowers, and so you saw what it was like to be inside a group of women like that and how encouraging and just positive. I mean, look at your newsfeed. It's just positive, positive, positive, beautiful flowers filling it up. And it's going to be the same when you join Tribe. It's going to change the way you look at Facebook because it's going to make it a much happier place. And I have, you know, several of you have said, you know, like, I hate Facebook. I don't want to be on it. You can control what you see on Facebook. And if you choose to get notifications and make Tribe a priority, you could literally come over to Facebook and just go to our Tribe and hang out with your Tribe Sisters if the rest of Facebook bothers you. And to be honest, that's pretty much what I do now. I will quickly browse, but it's just filled with too much drama and negativity for me. So again, staying in my happy zone. Welcome, Sue, said she just joined. Um, Billy said Painting of the Month Club is always on it. No, um, Billy, Painting of the Month Club is on this same platform. So see down here all these different Painting of the Month clubs, they're all on our membership website. Uh, Cindy said, I'm so sorry you were attacked, that was wrong. Everyone should under— yeah, and you know, those people that chose to attack me were, you know, swiftly removed from the group and our environment, and we don't have time for that. And I'm not gonna— you know, I told the girls in the group you know, I let it affect me. It crushed me that night, but that's going to happen when you put yourself out there. Um, but I'm still gonna do what I'm doing because, um, God is the one who gave me this business and this platform, and I will always glorify him for that and lead with him first in the membership. But again, I just want to be perfectly clear about that with you guys. Um, so let's go over here. You guys want to see inside what the Facebook group looks like. So I showed you inside the membership and now I'm going to show you inside the Facebook group. So when they're— I'm going to kind of show you how to navigate this and how to not get overwhelmed. Now it's going to look a little different because I'm on desktop. If you're on a phone or an iPad, It'll be slightly different, but the same things are there. Okay, the first thing I want to show you— I wonder if I can do it from here because mine's going to be a little— okay, so you have these three dots. If you're looking at it from your phone, it's going to be in the top corner, and it might even look like a shield. They have different things, but just kind of play around with it. But one thing I want to show you to help you not get lost if you're not used to navigating Facebook groups and that kind of thing. Right here, mine says unpin group because it's already pinned, but you will be able to pin your group. And then when you log into Facebook, every time you get on your phone and go to your Facebook app, your computer, your iPad, or however you access Facebook, you will see Tribe at the top and it will pin it there for you so you don't have to search for it. So that's That's my number one piece of advice. Number two is get very familiar with these two subject headers right here. Discussion is where you're going to see all your tribe sisters' artwork and where you can go and love on them and let them love on you. Okay, guides is where you're going to have all the information that you need to learn to navigate the membership, and also that is where we keep past tutorials inside the group for the last few months. Announcements is the biggest one. When you come into the group, my advice to you each day you come into the group, whether that be, you know, one day a week or every day of the week, anytime I want to tell you guys something important, it's going to be in the announcements. So you want to get very familiar with the announcements tab and checking that for important information. Megan is our community manager. She is a amazing, and she has created a nice getting started welcome Tribe Sister post here to give you all the important things, just easy reference, helpful links. Um, that's just— I was telling you guys last night about my PJ Paint Party, making sure that Tribe Sisters know where to go. Um, again, our Facebook group, but you can see the announcements also keeps my most recent tutorial So we did the Rustic Chapel. We had Heidi Easley as our guest speaker this month, teaching you how to do paint parties both locally and online. Um, this is where the calendar is. So for instance, for those of you coming in right now as new Tribe Sisters, on May 1st you will get a calendar uploaded for May, and you can just keep that in your calendar, jot some notes down so that you remember when we do things inside Tribe. You don't have to be there for any of the lives ever. They're on available on replay. Again, you just kind of saw me go to announcements. They're always going to be here, okay? They don't go away. Um, we also do this thing called Happy Mail because you guys love— I'm all about spreading joy and happiness. So if you scroll down to the Tribe Sister Happy Mail, then if you choose to, you can put in your address and put yourself on that list to receive happy mail. And then you can also browse that and send happy mail to other Tribe Sisters in the group. So that is Announcements. Again, want you to become very familiar with that. When I go over to Guides, this is where I want everyone to go. When you become a member. Don't forget to click those dropdowns. There's a welcome ceremony which I highly recommend. Um, Linda, who is another team member, she created timestamps for that welcome ceremony. And when you click on this, it's going to tell you at 5 minutes and 33 seconds Christie talked about this. So whatever it is you have questions about, you can literally fast forward right to that point of the video and find that. There's group rules, what I allow, what I don't allow, getting started checklist, which I highly recommend printing off and just using as your guide when you get started. And then again, we've got welcome— or not welcome, walkthrough videos on how to navigate the website, how to log into the membership portal, all the things that you need to know. So that's guide number 1. Guide number 2 is shopping with me. Where you can get aprons, where you get special priced things for Tribe Sisters. And then we go to like Guide 3, 4, and 5 are going to be the, the last 3 months. So we've got April, March, and February. Again, click those dropdowns. These are my most recent paintings with you guys inside the group. So that is about it. For our Tribe Sister Facebook community. And I'm going to go back to some questions, and then I'm going to be jumping off of here. Um, you guys can join me if you want to paint with me again. Um, you can join me tonight. I'll be coming on at 7 Central Standard Time, and we're going to do a painting that I call Spring Path. Um, and I think I'm going to change it up a little from the way that I had it in the original. So I'll be doing that with you guys live tonight at 7. Um, and Allison, you're watching. Allison's like my right-hand, uh, man here, but, uh, I haven't even told her this yet. I'm gonna change up my schedule just a little bit, okay? So, um, we're gonna do the whole Spring Path, um, painting tonight at 7, and then tomorrow night, because I'm, you know, a big believer in, uh, putting my family and my friends and my faith first, and um, one of my daughter's best friends, and we're family friends, is having a birthday dinner tomorrow night, and I was going to have to miss it because I had told my team I was going to teach at 7 tomorrow night. So I am rearranging tomorrow night so I can be at, um, her birthday dinner. Um, so you guys watching publicly didn't know that anyway, so it didn't affect you, but letting the team know I'm gonna go to dinner with her, and then I'll pop on and do one last painting with you guys, and then we close cart for Tribe for new members. Um, so I'm just gonna check questions really quick. Thank you so much, Lainey said she just finished her first painting. Such a blessing in the community, is so encouraging and fun. Keep spreading the love. Um, Linda's asking, can you join Painting of the Month anytime? You can join it every month, but we, we open doors on the 15th of each month and then we close them at the end of the month. So it's open half the month of every month, if that makes sense. Awesome. Pamela said she joined the Sisters for a year. Looking forward to being in such an uplifting, uh, space. Could we do an octopus? My daughter's favorite, the Kraken. I can't promise that, Pamela. I don't know if an octopus is going to make my list for the year. I got a lot of ideas that I've got planned out for the next few months. Michelle is asking, if I join the Painting of the Month Club, can I swap over to Inner Tribe at any time, or would I need to wait for the next open enrollment next fall? So I do special opportunities for Painting of the Month Club members to upgrade to Tribe. Um, but I don't have those set in stone. So I will tell you, there will be another chance for you to join before fall if you choose to. And you can even email our customer service team and ask that question whenever you decide to change your mind. Um, Kate said, what do I do with all my paint, all that I paint? Um, you can give them away as gifts. You could give them— I'll tell you what I'm going to start doing with my paintings is I'm working with a women's shelter, and I'm going to providing paintings for the ladies in the shelter and for them to take to their homes when they move out of the shelter. So look at ways that you can just spread the love with your art. If you're worried about space, let's say you just want to paint but you're not worried about having things to hang on your wall— sorry, allergies— um, you can paint in your mixed media pad and then it's just like an art journal. So you can just flip through that and keep your paintings in there. Um, Karina's asking, are Painting of the Month clubs live? No, they are not. They are pre-recorded and uploaded to your library. Um, awesome. Caitlin said, I'm so excited, I'm a member of Heidi's Paint Party Headquarters and I'm excited to learn from you too. We share a lot of members, so there are, there are a lot of, a lot of ladies that are in both of our groups and we love because we're able to teach you guys both sides of the business. Vicki's so funny. I just joined, I'll be 70 in August. Hope an old dog can learn. You are not alone. And I wonder, is Miss Pauline on here? Pauline is on here, I hope. If not, I know some other Tribe sisters that are on here can give you some encouragement because so many ladies started later in life just like you, some older than you. And they're like, why did I wait this long? Like, I can't believe, you know, at 75 I started to learn how to paint. And they love it. So you are absolutely never too old to learn how to paint. Um, Laura says, what size is your painting on tonight? I haven't decided yet. I'm either going to do it in my mixed media pad, um, or a 16 by 20. So I don't know yet. It'll be an 11 by 14 or 16 by 20 in size. Um, awesome. Barb said, I just joined and I'll be 70 in October. Tony says, I was one of them. All right, Susan Nether says, I'm with you. See, look, 70 is the new hot number, y'all. Pamela says, I'm a '70s hippie. Oh, thank you, Pamela. So yes, you are never too old to join. So Um, last chance for questions. I've kind of given you guys a behind the scenes of what it's all about and what it's like to be a part of our community. Um, and then like I said, if you want to paint with me, come back at 7 tonight. If you want to join Tribe and you do not want to miss out on those bonus paintings, that you have 40 minutes left to sign up and become a Tribe sister and get those bonus paintings. So be sure to do that and email customer service if you have any questions. What size frame do the mixed media pad— what size do you frame? Um, sorry, the mixed media pad that I have is an 11 by 14, which is great because those are very easy frames to find if you do something in your mixed media pad and you want to frame it. And they look beautiful in framed— the paintings look beautiful framed behind glass. Us like that too. Lori said, this has finally given me the confidence to teach at the community art center. Yay! They have begged me to do this. Think— oh, that, Lori, that is awesome! I am so glad. See, it's so exciting what God can do, um, and you just have no idea. It could just be to give you peace of mind and to hang out and paint and have some happy time, or he may just put something else on your heart. Let's see, Vicki said, woohoo, loving it already! Yay! Barb said, what are we painting tonight? The painting is called Spring Path, um, so it's basically kind of like a little path, a little road with some beautiful spring trees alongside of it. Um, Jennifer said, are you opening again on April? We opened— so today's the 19th. We opened yesterday, Jennifer. Close tomorrow on the 20th, and then I don't open again until fall. Um, and in 2022, we will be moving to only opening to the public, um, once a year. So I will no longer do the, the twice a year opening. So the— this, this and fall are going to be your last chances to join for a while, and then we're going to move to one a year in 2022. Um, Susan's asking, when you belong to TRIBE, is everything already in your library? Yes. So Susan, if you missed the beginning of this video, as soon as I hop off you can go back and look at that. It'll show you everything that's in your library. Beth says, I'm so excited to be a part of TRIBE, and we are excited to have you. Um, all right girls, I'm gonna jump off and, um, hopefully I'll see you inside TRIBE. If not, hopefully I'll see you back here at 7 PM tonight, same place. And I'm going to go ahead and schedule it, um, with, uh, StreamYard is just the service that I use and it will save it to the top of my page. So when you come to the Social Easel page, it should have a countdown for you and that's where you'll go to catch me live tonight. Um, last but not least, if you want, let me find the right banner right here on here. If you want text alerts when I go live, please text this number. I'm going to leave it up on the screen for a little bit, and, um, when you do that, you will get text alerts before I go live. Awesome, Kate says she is in. We are excited to have you. So, um, that's all I got for you guys. Have an awesome afternoon, and I'll be back with you this evening. Bye.
