Live Interviews with some Tribe Sisters of my Inner Tribe! || The Social Easel

In this live streamed interview, host Christie Renee Hawkins welcomes several members of her online painting community, the Inner Tribe, to share their personal journeys, creative breakthroughs, and how the membership has impacted their lives. Debbie Hightower recounts transitioning from in‑person paint parties to the online studio, using it to teach kids and plan paid paint parties. Linda Webb describes overcoming fear of painting, using mixed‑media pads and palette knives to gain confidence. Tish McGee highlights the flexibility of on‑demand video lessons, one‑on‑one interaction, and turning her art into products. Linda Stewart explains her shift toward children’s art after a summer camp experience, emphasizing community joy and local fame. The conversation repeatedly underscores the supportive, collaborative nature of the tribe, the value of shared resources (technique tutorials, guest artists, bonuses), and the practical benefits of the membership (three new paintings per month, access to a large tutorial library, early‑bird bonus paintings, pricing at $47/month or $470/year). Christie closes with a call‑to‑action, reminding viewers that enrollment closes in two days, offering extra tutorial bonuses, and urging listeners to join the private Facebook group to experience the community’s “superpowers.”

Are you going to ask it? Like, are you going to tell us when to talk?
Yes, we are going live right now. And so I will introduce you guys and let you know when it's your turn. So let's see here. We are live. So I'm going to— and there's my annoying voice. I don't want to listen to that. Hang on. I have to go. I have to watch us in the Zoom screen because it's too distracting to watch the delay on Facebook. So sorry, we're live, everybody. So I just want to say welcome. You guys give a quick hello to everyone out there.
Hello.
Hi. And I'm going to see if I can get these comments coming up. So as you guys are joining us live, we are not going to be painting tonight, but this is a chance for you to get to know some of the women that are inside my inner tribe and hear their stories of why they joined and what has happened since they've joined. Just some fun stuff going on with these girls. So if you guys will do me a favor— so I'm seeing one screen and then another over here. I'm looking at your comments. If you guys will go ahead and comment for me. And let me know everything looks good, sounds good. Say where you're watching from, whatever you want to do. And then while you guys are doing that, I'm going to start introducing— Pam says hello. Pam is one of your other Tribe sisters. So these ladies are just getting to know each other too. This is the kind of cool thing is we are all over the United States and we have Deborah in Canada. Who I met when I went to Paris with my mom, and then she ended up joining my painting membership. So that's how, that's how we have a friend in Canada also. Hi, Christina. Okay, so we'll start at— I'm trying to look and see what your view is. We're going to start in the top corner. Is Miss Debbie with the blue curtain behind her? This is Debbie Hightower. Tell them hi. Hi, and then we have in the middle there is Tish. And then on the bottom we have Linda Webb in the blue. Hello. And then we have Linda Stewart in her tie-dye.
Hey, y'all.
So I am gonna let the ladies have a chance to kind of share a little bit about their journey. And we'll kind of do this so it's not just one big monologue and give you guys kind of a chance. So Debbie, I'll start with you and you can just tell them where you are from. And I guess kind of how you found me and what brought you into the Inner Tribe. And then when Debbie— sorry, when Debbie's done, then I'll jump down and I'll tell tag another one of you.
Okay, so I met Christie when she was doing paint classes at the Social Boutique. Can you hear me?
Yes, yes, you're fine. I'm meeting everyone else right now just to get rid of background noise because I think that's going to help, and then I'll unmute.
Okay, there was some stuff. I didn't know if you can hear me. Alright, so I went— I Arranged a paint party there. It was the poppies. I love the poppies. And I got some friends to go and I loved it. And then she started teaching everywhere around town. Oh, Springfield, Missouri, by the way. I'm local. I'm a local girl. And so she was teaching all over and I just couldn't go. My kids were younger, schedule wouldn't permit. And really, I'm a teacher and it's kind of expensive to go for $40 every time. So when she opened up the online paint studio in April of '18, I jumped. I was like, heck yes, I can get all these paintings for a great price and I can do it at my house. I did have to make myself a little craft room, but that was good too. But I can paint when I want and what I want and wear what I want. Yeah, buddy, except for tonight. And it's just been great. So that was about a year and a half ago, and I'm getting ready to retire in a year. I'm a teacher, and I'm like, I'm young. I'm, I'm, I'm still young. I'm going to do something. And it dawned on me how much fun these are. And I'm going to start teaching kids with the Spark program after school and do that once a month and kind of practice this year and then maybe do a little paint nights every once in a while in restaurants and, and paint with the teachers after school. So I'm kind of getting my feet wet, but my, my business is Painting Junkie. Like, like me on Facebook.
Yes.
But yeah, my first party is tomorrow. My first paid party. I've been teaching my class for years. Well, for a year now, but they're going to pay me for the first time tomorrow.
Wow, that is awesome. So, so that's, yeah, that's Debbie, how kind of Debbie got started and pulled into Tribe. And then I'm going to jump down to Linda, just so we break the Springfield people up a little bit because she's from Springfield too. So Linda Webb, She is actually brand new, so I was excited. She hopped on here with us tonight and she just joined Tribe. It was yesterday or the day before?
A couple days ago. Yeah. Okay.
I think you got in early with the Fall Chapel Challenge. Okay. So if, if the ladies took the Fall Chapel Challenge with me, I actually let them in to try a little backdoor sneak in. So she's got to be in a few days early. But I was so happy that she came on here because I think what she was feeling prior to joining Tribe is how a lot of you feel out there. So Linda, I'll let you kind of tell, tell your part of that.
Well, like I said earlier, I have been wanting to paint for about 3 years now, and I started collecting materials. Paints, brushes, canvases, mixed media books, everything that you need to paint with, everything that you said, this is what you need to start with. Well, I had it all. But I was just too afraid to put the brush to— with the paint on the canvas or on the paper because I didn't want to mess it up. I didn't, and I had no clue where to start. What do I paint? An apple? A pear? A pumpkin? I don't know. That's my granddaughter, and she very much wants to do this with me, so we're going to kind of do this together. I told her I would kind of get started and then I could— then I can help her along the way. But yeah, we're really excited. I'm in Virginia, by the way. That's why I have the accent.
I love— we all have accents.
Yeah, but mine's pretty thick. Virginia is like the dividing state, but I live in the southern part.
So, um, um, tell them what you— so you took the Fall Chapel Challenge. If they don't know what that is, um, this was something I did— was that last week? And it was my fall chapel, which I don't think I have that in here, it's on the floor over there. Um, but I broke it into 4 days for the women to learn, um, and it was a challenge that she signed up for. And like she said, she'd never painted before that, or one time she said she went to one paint night. I'll let you tell that, and then you joined the Fall Chapel Challenge.
I think my granddaughter's going to actually get the picture that I painted at night. It's really bad. We went to— my daughter and I went to a paint night and it was an elephant. Yes, if you can—
oh, that is not really bad.
Exactly.
I can't—
yes, be proud of that.
It's all in the picture, but it I mean, it was fun, and that was kind of like the start of, I want to do this, I really want to do this, and I want to be good at it. I'm pretty meticulous about a lot of things. Can you shut the door, honey? And, um, I, uh, so, you know, just poking around. I've done a lot of poking around on Facebook trying to find different creative outlets, and painting is of course one of those. And I happened to run across you about 3 weeks ago. And I saw the Fall Chapel Challenge and I thought, okay, I'm gonna try this. And of course, when, when I watched the video— or I watched it live every day— I didn't do it, not the first single day. I just kept watching. And then I rewatched the videos and I thought, okay, I'm gonna start today. And then I rewatched the videos. Okay, I'm going to start today. And finally, on Friday— Thursday night. Was, was the last day that you did it, I said, okay, I'm starting tonight. So I did part of it Thursday night and then I finished it. I worked on it various times on Friday and I finished it and I was just, oh my word, I can't believe I did it.
That's awesome.
It was so awesome. And just by the way, the palette knife, gotta love that, gotta love that.
Yeah.
That was my favorite thing.
I know, and isn't that funny? Because I mean, I think I speak for most of us out there, unless you come from a very super artsy background and you've worked with a lot of different mediums in painting. Most people haven't used a palette knife, and I think I maybe did one time when I was in college for art, but I had only started painting with it about, well, about 2 years ago, and I fell in love with it. And now it's in a lot of my paintings inside the membership, but it's so fun. Do you have that chapel painting there?
Yeah, she just went and got it for me.
Oh, that's awesome. That looks so good. I love it.
I just did mine on the mixed media paper because I did get a palette board, but I was afraid to put it on there, so I wanted to do this. And now all my friends where I posted it on Facebook are like, you need to frame that, you need to frame it.
Absolutely.
I may just frame this and not even put it on palette board because I really like the way it turned out, you know. It was—
I mean, yeah, I would definitely frame that, but I say try it again, or maybe even change it up or change some colors that you do on the palette board or something.
Yeah, I saw one that somebody else did where they did more of a springy colors, and I know it was so pretty, and I thought, well, maybe I should try that, but that You know, that's an idea to do the palette board with that way.
Yeah, and now you've already got your techniques down and you feel more comfortable. So going to the palette board won't be as scary. And I'm glad you brought up the mixed media pad because I tell everyone in my membership, like, that's really one of the first things I want people to buy because there's something about painting on a black canvas that intimidates us and it scares us and we feel like it's final or has to be perfect. And painting on a mixed media pad is like a sketchbook. So if you're not happy with it, just turn the page, start over again. You know, you're not—
you're not—
this, and it's given you a chance to get comfortable with your brushstrokes. And I just feel like it's really, really important when you're first learning how to paint to have one of those. And then, just like you said, if you do something that you really love in there, you can take it out and frame it. And I've done that with several of mine. So it's a, it's a perfect combination. And I know Linda Stewart does a lot. You do almost all of yours in your mixed media pad, don't you, Linda?
I do, I do.
Yeah. And so anyways, that's a, that's a great place to start. And now it got you past that, that out of your comfort zone and feeling a little more comfortable with it. And so now we're just excited to have you and, and see what you start painting inside the group. Alright, we are going to jump over to Miss Tish McGee over here. Tish, you want to tell them? I was trying— she asked me earlier to look up when she joined. Okay, here I got you. Oh, I did it. Okay, now you're unmuted. She, she asked me earlier to look up when she joined and I couldn't find a fast way to figure that out, Tish, but I want to say like It's been maybe a year or what do you think?
It's— I want to say it was about— it was the first one that you had opened after January. So was that April?
Um, uh, yeah, it was either March or April. Yeah, I can't remember what month I did it last spring. Yeah.
Okay.
Um, I'm from Rogersville, Missouri. Um, I am local, thank goodness, because I get to see Christie whenever I want to. I went to one paint night, which I used my very first painting as my, my beginning painting. And then you look back at it and you go, oh my gosh, what was I thinking? I mean, it was still good, but we've learned so many new techniques and processes that you can just take what Christie shows you and teaches you, and you can just do whatever you want with it. I mean, you can paint on anything. And any surface or pot or a table, anything you want to paint on, you can do it. So I've really enjoyed the one-on-one interaction because it's not like she's teaching a whole bunch of people. She's talking directly to me when I watch her video, and I'll talk back to her. She can't hear me, but I didn't get that. I didn't get that. So, but, and to be able to go online, and if, you know, you have a birthday or a friend that loves something, you know, let's say the chapels, and then it's like, oh, I can do that. I haven't painted it in, you know, 6 months, but I can just go on to the video and paint it real quick, and I got her, and I can pause her if I need to go make dinner, do whatever I need to do, and come back. So, but doing live though is pretty fun because then you feel like you're part of the—
Yeah, the live ones are fun. But so for those of you, because two of you are local, this is my opinion, but you guys, I'm thinking it from a teacher's perspective. From a student's perspective, don't you feel like learning online, you get a better view of exactly what I'm doing with the brushstrokes versus towing to a paint night.
Yes, right down on it.
Yep. And the way you have your view, we can see how you're moving your hand every time you say, don't just move your wrist, move your whole arm.
It sounded kind of like you were mocking me, just—
but I can see you doing it, and then we know, oh, okay, I need to really get in there and move my arm around. So, but, or the way you flick, you know, that fan brush. I'm learning, but it does, it, it really helps. And to be able to pause it and it's like, okay, yeah, I'm going back because I'm going to do that again. I'm going to get it. You can do it as many times as you need to, like sunflowers.
Right. I know it's like everyone's nemesis, isn't it? The sunflowers.
You have like 3,000 hits and I think probably 15,000 are mine.
You and Becky Walker, she had, she had the same problem and she went back and did her sunflowers. I don't know how many times, but now they're amazing. And I mean, that's the thing, you just keep trying and you you're on nobody's time schedule but your own. So I mean, there's no like limit to when you have to get this and there's definitely no catching up. So like even speaking to this group that's in here right now, some of you have been in here. Debbie was a founding member. Tish came a few months after that. Linda's been with me, or Linda Stewart has been with me for several months now. And then Linda just joined. So there are people at all levels inside the tribe. And I think that makes it a really great learning environment. Because just like Linda Webb was saying, she was inspired by somebody else's painting in our fall chapel group. And that's what happens inside the tribe too. And it's so much better than painting alone or just doing a YouTube video by yourself. Don't you guys think the community— you guys can all speak to this, but the community is what I think— better together. I think that's what holds us together and what makes it so much fun because you're in a group of women who are all going through the same experiences, struggles, and successes that you are.
Absolutely.
Yeah.
Yeah. Um, let me see if I have any questions. Oh, Pam said yes because heads don't get in the way. That is another good benefit. Um, but yeah, so when I'm teaching— and I've done some lives like this, so if you followed me for a while, you may have seen some of those where I'm really close up But it does give you a nice overhead view, and I do think that's what is helping you guys really be able to focus on the techniques and learning them, because you can watch my hand motions and my arms, just like Tish was saying. So, Tish, tell them what has just been going on for you since you got your she shed.
Oh my gosh. Um, We started out, my husband and I, with a hobby, and he still says it's a hobby. It's not a hobby. And it just— we started carving, and he carves and he cuts out stuff for me, and we do door hangers, and, and it just, it exploded. I mean, overnight. I have a full-time job, and my weekends and my evenings I'm in my she shed and I'm trying and trying to keep up with everything. It puts everything into perspective. It's like I'm one person. And Debbie and my husband had suggested that we hire you for 99 cents. So I was supposed to ask. Yes. Yes. But it's been so much fun though. I mean, family and friends have been so supportive and We're just, we're having a great time. And it's, I mean, I wouldn't have ever picked up the paintbrush if I hadn't just said, hey, you know, well, let's go to this paint night at the pizza, at the Pitch. And, and then I fell in love with Christie Renee Hawkins.
It was over.
Just her personality, and she's so easy to learn from, and she makes you feel like you can do it. Even though it looks like cat scratches and a 2-year-old did it. So it really was, it was a great experience, and I'm excited. I'd like to retire like Debbie, but you never know.
I mean, and that's what is so exciting. And for those of you that are new that are watching, a part of being a part of the Inner Tribe, you do have rights to to the paintings for local paint nights or to sell. I know, so Debbie's doing local paint nights with them. Tish is doing a combination of things. She's gonna— you already did one class, right?
I did.
And you're selling a lot of like one-off items because just like she was telling you guys that you can paint on anything, she paints on everything and it's like any surface you can think of, she paints on and she's selling this stuff. And it's just, it's awesome. It's exciting to see.
It's great.
Well, let's move on to Miss Linda Stewart. And you can just see Linda is like a little rock star. You see all those paintings behind her? Her studio looks like my studio. But she is just a painting queen. And then she took my kids. Summer art camp, and, um, tell them what happened after that.
That was really the defining moment for me, was the summer camp. I started back when Tish started, and, uh, I, uh, so February I did the boot camp, but I've been stalking you on YouTube and watching all of your stuff, and I knew I wanted to paint with you. But I didn't join. I don't know why. And my kids were encouraging me. I have 5 kids. I'm 60 years old. And so I have like ranging from 40 to 30 ages of children and their grand— my grandchildren. I have 14.
Oh my goodness.
I really only got the summer camp to paint with them. And, and I think I'm in the paint party painting business.
You did it.
Because I've had 3 parties plus my camp and I've done some repeats for kids that were on vacation in the summer. We've done the sloth with a couple little groups. Of course, that was everyone's favorite. But I think this is going in a direction that has been really wonderful for me because I'm noticing something that I've never noticed before, and that is that Children don't ever have a large canvas and a plate full of paint and a brush in their hand all at the same time. And so what has happened for me is, it's been quite magical because through the camp, the pictures were coming— well, I shared them with you I was amazed. I did the painting with you and then we did it together with them. We had you on live, we were watching you and we were following the steps. And I mean, it just, it just happened. And now I'm going in the children's direction for sure. It's not that I don't like the girls that are in my age group. It just seems that I'm being magnetically connected to the children, and that's okay for me because I spent the whole entire day today with a 1-year-old, so I'm still flushed from it. I mean, but, um, it's been a wonderful, wonderful experience. I live in a small town in East Texas, and, um, I've become a little bit famous.
Woo-hoo!
And I've lived here for 36 years. And now I am the lady that's— I used to be the barbecue. I've managed a big barbecue restaurant here for 19 years and I'm retired. So I was known for the lady at the barbecue restaurant.
And now you're the paint lady, right?
Now I'm known as, I want you to come to my party and I want you to paint cows. And I'm doing a, a cactus. I showed them the cactus trio. Of course, they wanted more children-like, so I'm definitely going that direction. And I have a chapel party coming up. So I never really thought about painting. I never thought about painting. And I really don't even— I hate to say care if I make the money because the time that I'm having with my people in my community has really made a difference for me personally. So for that reason, it's— I find myself painting children's paintings and looking for children's paintings. I can't wait to see what you have For the holidays.
Do you want a sneak peek of one of them?
Did I already show you?
I would love that.
Hold on, let me get it. I finished it the other day. So this is the first one. So this is something coming after, after we close doors to Tribe and I get everyone situated into the group, the next thing to come up For the Social Easel is my kids' basically like holiday camp, or I should say holiday bundle. The kids are going to get one Halloween painting, one fall painting, and one Christmas painting. And this is a little spider.
You show it.
I can't see it.
Did I go away?
Oh, oh my gosh. That is so happening.
So I'm like, I'm kind of like, I go back and forth. Like, I love teaching women, um, because just like she said, how it makes her feel, that's how I feel when I'm teaching you guys. This is like my dream. My, my dream has come true. Like, doing this with you guys is my dream. That I get to teach you how to paint and then see what it's doing in your life and then watch you turn around and give it to other people. Do you guys see what's happening? Do you see the ripple effect that happens just by us sharing our— and how much our world needs it?
Yes, absolutely.
We don't— everything is all technology right now, and I know we're on technology right now, but What we're doing is creating a place for people to get their hands on paint and canvas and art and experience those feelings that you go through when you paint. And so it's just huge, and I love hearing you talk about it and what it does for you, because I mean, it is— it's so satisfying. And when you see kids light up like that, it's the best because they don't get to do it enough. There's not enough opportunities for kids out there to get their hands in art.
Yes. And you know, I've had parents that say, you know, do I just leave them as a— and I tell them, the best thing that you can do is to just leave them. And, or I had a birthday party and the parents were so controlling with the children. And when they left the table and the kids were just doing their own creative thing. It's— I can't even describe it. It's just, it's amazing. They feel so free. They— I'm telling them to scoop up paint, and I tell them, you're never going to have an opportunity where someone's going to say, scoop that paint up, and they're driving it through that paint. And there's— their faces are— well, I've sent pictures. I mean, it's just, it's just wonderful. And I have kept my prices low, but I still, I'm still way ahead of the game because I really don't really— I just want to get it to them. I just want to get it to them. And so that's, that's what inspires me is getting that, getting them in front of that canvas and watching them create something. It's, it's wonderful for me. And I thank you for that because I can't believe the sport— the floral boot camp started the whole thing for me. And now all the littles in my town are making beautiful art that they'll have in their homes forever. And that's just, that's just a wonderful thing. If that's the only thing I do, I will be pleased.
No, it's so awesome. And I mean, I am not crying. I'm not crying. Heidi's trick.
So I follow Heidi too.
But it is just really, it's just really exciting to see what you guys have done with it. And I just love it.
Let me—
and we'll just kind of go in, you know, the same order that we went in before. What would you say to someone who is watching this right now and they may be thinking, well, that's cool, that's their story, and it would never work for me because I literally have never picked up a paintbrush before. What would you tell them about Tribe and whether or not you think they should just take the leap and do it? And kind of— does that make sense? What am I rambling? What my question is, what would you tell someone who was on the fence about joining because they're nervous or worried that maybe it's not going to work for them? I'll start with you, Debbie.
Okay, so just try it. Like, try it out for a month, and if it doesn't work, there's no, you know, requirements that you stay for any length of time. But once you do it, you will never leave because just the bank of paintings from the last year and a half are so wonderful, and then they just keep coming. And so, you know, even if you— you don't have to teach, teach paint parties if you don't want to, but just to be creative and let go and just try it. You won't be disappointed. Was that old commercial?
Yeah, something. I don't know. Tish, we'll go to you.
And I have painted every one of Christie's things. And now everyone— and all over the house. So now I have them separated and put into, um, with my holiday decorations, and I bring them out. So, um, but It's your own pace. If you, you can get on, you can practice and do a couple strokes, and if you don't like the way it comes out, then start over and redo it. But like Debbie said, is once you do it, you're hooked. I mean, I'll feed the kids hot dogs. I will not give up my membership with Christie Renee Hawkins. This is like a necessity. Plus, it gives you your me time. You know, we're, we're— most of us are moms or grandparents, and we have so many responsibilities that hit us every day. And this is your me time. I get to de-stress, and I'm in control of what I'm creating. And it's just— and when it comes out good, you're like, yeah, you didn't mess it up. So, but it's a good— it's good for you, and it's been, it's been good for me. So just do it.
Linda Webb, I know you just started, but what, what would you say to people who were maybe in the same place that you were?
You won't know till you try. And 2 weeks ago, I didn't think I could do it. But, you know, again, this right here, she got this out of me, and I never thought I could do this. That's the only one I've done so far. And, you know, today I've been watching the, the one you did last night, the Autumn Road, and I cannot wait to start painting that.
And you just have to try.
I put it off for too long. I wish I'd started earlier, because if I started earlier, then I wouldn't have found you, probably. So I'm glad I waited.
Well, we are, we are glad to have you, and I can't wait to see what your next painting looks like. So it'll be fun.
Yes, I think so.
Miss Linda Stewart.
What I would say if you were on the fence is I was on the fence, so I can honestly say that get off that fence and get, get you a few supplies. And I got— I started with a media book. I didn't— it was— I did several pieces before I ever went to canvas, and I've done some palette pieces. I think that you said something one time to me, Christie, and you said that we are all created with a creative you know, gene inside us, and we all have something to contribute to the universe, if anything else. And I think if you're on the fence, you should definitely get your media book and, and a pack of $5 brushes, and, and you may just change your life, just like it has changed our lives. And the joy, which is what we're all striving for, is within the work, this art, the paint, the canvases, people that we're going to meet. It's in there. It's somehow connected. I don't know how. I haven't figured that out yet, but it is.
That's awesome. Well, I just want to thank you girls so much for jumping on with me tonight and sharing your stories. And I'm like, so proud. I'm not going to cry. So proud of you guys. And it's just, it's so exciting to see. And I love what you're doing with it. So really quick, I just want to recap for those of you, you're probably, you probably like really tired of hearing me say it now. But it's closing in 2 days. So I'm going to say it a whole bunch for the next 2 days, and then you're not going to hear me talk about it again until spring of next year. Because we only open the membership twice a year. So what you get when you join our inner tribe and join this group of women, this is just 4 of the over 300 women in that group right now, which is just crazy pants, but we're having so much fun.
Amazing.
It is, it's, it's so crazy. But like this month, that truck that you see back there, the witch's kettle, there's another one hiding. I think it's hiding somewhere. But this Thursday is going to be the first one we do as our big new tribe. We're doing the fall birch trees, and we're going to do our welcoming ceremony on Thursday to welcome all the new members. And then we are doing our first painting together as a new big tribe. So we are so excited about that. But you get 3 paintings per month with me. 3. Yeah, when Debbie started, it was 2, and then I just kept adding on.
And bonus, bonus, bonus.
Yeah, I really, really love what I do.
Such an overachiever.
I like to spoil. It is, it is part of— that's one of my love languages is gifts. And so I like to give you guys little bonuses all the time. And but you get 3 paintings per month with me and a guest speaker, which is either a guest artist. So we have Casey Hope coming in to teach a hand lettering project soon. Tamara Bennett's going to come in and do another door hanger with us from Southern Adornments. So those are just an example. But you guys know I have like the best creative friends ever. So if I can't teach you, they can, and they get to come in and be guest speakers in the group. And then the other side of my friends are these amazing business minds. So for those of you in that place where you're start— like, and I will say, these 3 women right here who have started their businesses, that was never their intention when they joined. The tribe. It happened by accident for all of them. So it may be something you're like, well, that's cool, that'll never be me. You never know. So when you get to that point, um, you may want to say one—
can I say one more thing? I forgot to say something that was very, very important that I wrote down, and I'm so glad I did. The women that are in this tribe are I don't know where they came from, but they are sent from above because there are times when I send a picture that I'm not really sure about it. I think it's— and their encouragement is— I mean, when you're looking at home and your husband's going to tell you it looks fine, everything you wear looks fine, the picture looks fine, everything looks fine. But when you show it and your girls start to tell you that the the trees, or this is amazing, or the colors you picked. And you're thinking to yourself, I did, I did pick those colors. That, that, that's really, that's wonderful when someone is affirming for you that you, what you're doing is, is, is pleasant. And, and that, that having a group of friends like that, like I couldn't get all my girlfriends here. They're all busy and they have lives. But when I get up in the morning and I go to my, my inner tribe, I feel like I get like some superpowers from them. And it's that, that's the thing that I really wanted to tell you, that the superpowers that I get from these women that I'm looking at their faces now, I get to see who they are, is, is phenomenal. So For that, I am eternally grateful.
That is awesome. I agree 100%. I mean, you guys hear me talk about it all the time, but if you were inside our tribe and could have a little peek in there and saw just what a loving, encouraging environment this is, and it is sacred to me, and I will do everything I can to protect it and keep it that way no matter what size we get. Because we are there to love on each other and encourage each other. And just like she brought up the word joy earlier, and when I was at my business conference a few weeks ago, you know, we were asked to pick a word for our intention for the next year of our life. And my word was joy. And that is absolutely my goal in this membership is to bring joy to others and then to watch you guys go out and spread that even further. And that is exactly what's happening. And I've seen it boost these women up and build their confidence. And it's just a— it's a huge blessing, and it's so much better than going at it alone. Listen, I painted for myself alone a long time, and I told these girls the other day, I was teaching them, and I said, you know, it's kind of boring for me now to like paint and not be talking to people while I'm painting. Like, I have to have music on or something because I'm like, I'm kind of lonely. Like, I'm usually I really like talking to them while I'm painting, and I think all of us kind of talk back and forth to each other, even though we can't hear. But, but that's what, that's what makes it fun. So yes, the community is a huge part of it. You get to be a part of this private Facebook group. And that's where all, all the interaction is, is inside the Facebook group. And then if you want to go back to those older videos like the ladies were talking about, we have our whole separate website. That my web designer Christie has redesigned and made absolutely gorgeous and easy to find things. So all you have to do, all the painting tutorials are on one page and you can pick exactly what anything you can pick from a library, whatever you're in the mood for. And there's no catching up. Just because I released 3 paintings a month doesn't mean you have to paint those in that order. Everyone is working on something different. And that is also fun because then someone will paint something from a long time ago and then someone else will be like, I didn't even know that was there. Now, you know, and we've already got a full fall and Halloween and Christmas season from last year that you guys can jump right in if you're already in the holiday spirit, or if you have a business and you're already needing some of those paintings, you can jump right in and do those as well. Um, And the last thing I want to say— well, two things, two things. These three bonuses I went over in our time tonight, and I was going to end this early bird bonus at 8 PM, but I am going to allow you guys to go ahead and still take advantage of this. If you join tonight, you get all three of those paintings that you see back there: the Bird's Nest, the Cactus Trio, the Abstract Flowers. Those are all extra paintings that are not part of Tribe. But if you join tonight, you will get those separate tutorials and they will be emailed to you. So that's an over $90 value right off the top if you join tonight. And you get all of this— the entire membership is $47 a month, or you can do the annual plan and get 2 months for free. So it's $470 for the year. And I will tell you, if you are on the fence, this is the last time it will be that price. When we open doors again in March 2020, everything that you see here will not be the same. So things will increase because we've been at the same price for almost— well, it will be 2 years by the time we go to that. And my library is gigantic. So the value in there is over $5,000 right now of all of those past tutorials. And that's the other thing. You who are on here, all current tribe members, And if you join tonight at the $47 a month, you are locked in at that price. So that is why I'm saying now's the time to do it. Don't be on the fence. Like, like they said, you can jump in. You're not committing to anything, but you can at least jump in and try and lock that rate in before—
you won't be sorry.
Yeah. But yeah, you lock that rate in. So no matter what it increases to at any point during the future, you get to stay at your current price that you joined at as long as you are a current member. So that is a, that's a huge change that's coming. So I want to make sure that people know that as well. So thank you, Susan. We've got 2, 3, 3 new ladies who just joined today. So welcome to Tribe and bear with me as we're getting in there. If you're getting the early birds, they are coming to you if they haven't been emailed. Um, yet I'm trying to wait until everyone gets there and then I can send out one email to everyone with the early birds. And, um, and then you will make sure you get your email. You're going to get an email from me after you sign up. Check your spam, check your promotions folder, because sometimes they go there, and it's going to have a link to our Facebook group. You want to get in that Facebook group as soon as you can. So you just need to request to join and then wait for me to add you. I just have to verify email addresses with registration. And then once I do that, you're added to the group and you get to be part of this amazing community of women. So we are looking forward to welcoming more tribe members. And if you have someone, if you're watching this and you have someone that you think needs this in their life, please share it with them too. The things that I'm watching happening inside of there and the lives that are changing are super exciting. This is a whole lot more than just painting. So it starts with our desire for that, but it's so much more. So thank you ladies so much for being here.
You're welcome.
All right, we're going to jump off. Bye guys.
Bye.
