The important thing you want to remember if you haven't used palette knife before is you're going to hold it like this. You're going to use the back side of it, not the top side. Okay, and most of the time, especially when I'm doing like petals, I'm putting more of my pressure towards the end. Lightly I'm holding it. I'm not pushing down super hard. I'm just kind of lightly scraping in some of that color. We don't need a ton of it. I just like it a little here and there, closer to the center.
