Hey guys, it's Christie with The Social Easel, and I am not teaching you how to paint today. Instead, we're just gonna do some fun box reveals. So I hate it when I forget to turn notifications off. So I don't buy too many clothes. So that's what that is and there's 5 pieces of clothing. You get a discount if you keep them all. If you don't want them, you can send them back. But you pay a styling fee and these stylists are awesome. It's— well, it smells like roses. It actually smells really good. So that's a hydrating facial spray, so it gives you a little hydration. This is— it's called Grace and Stella. I know it's backwards. Facebook is still glitching and won't let me flip the camera so you guys can read correctly. Grace and Stella Spray All Day Rose Spray. Oh good, Debbie, she said you got me started on these. It is— is that Callie? Callie says she has it. Oh, this is fun. Wish Exfoliating foot mask, smooths and softens. Well, I need this this time of year. Paraben-free, sulfate-free, phthalate-free, lots of things free. So this is good for you. That's a glare, but this is a foot scrub or a foot mask, exfoliating foot mask. Let's see if it's got a seal on it. It smells good. Oh, no wonder, coconut milk, coconut milk and verbena. So softens and smooths your feet. Easy enough. Apply liberally and let it dry. Go to bed and wake up with softer feet. That's my kind of mask. No effort whatsoever. And then we have this pretty. Ultraviolet brightening purple clay mask, Generation Clay, and this is to refine your skin. Wait about 10 minutes until it starts to tighten and use water to rinse it off. So this is to brighten your skin. I have loved the stuff that I have gotten in my FabFitFun box, and it is honestly crazy to think the price you pay. So mine is— my first month was $39, and now it's $49 a month, but it's over $200 worth of product. Oh, I love these. If you haven't tried these before, these hair rings, they're like ponytail holders, and it looks like you would totally get your hair in a knot. Hi, do you want to come join? Emma wants to join, but the girls like these too. So yeah, we've got, we got like nude blonde color. They must have known that I had blonde hair. Okay, but they look like little stretchy cords that would get tangled in your hair, but they do not.

And they're stretchy, they're very stretchy.

Emma's messy buns are way prettier than mine because she's got a whole lot more hair. And naughty hair. Okay, so while Em's putting that in, I'm gonna show you— ooh, I love a good liquid eyeliner.

I do it every day.

Well, you know what's awesome? So I— not that I'm addicted to any of these boxes or packages in the mail or anything, but I also have Ipsy. I've never been an Ipsy thing. I don't know if they have an affiliate program or not. I should probably look into that, but I have not had to buy a liquid eyeliner and I don't even know how long because it's like they know when I run out from Ipsy and I get— oh, this one's waterproof. I'm sorry, waterproof liquid eyeliner. You guys want to see me put it on? I might be able to put it on over top of my other one.

I like these because some of them, they show like the indention marks But this one doesn't show that much.

Well, I can't. We have to have water and stuff. I'd have to like take them in the bathroom with us and I'm not doing that. I can't really smell it. It's got a seal on it. So these are just silicone squishy wine glasses, so those are fun. I'm not gonna take them out of the package because I might be giving them as a gift to someone. Well, that's a good gift. The one I got for spring had that really pretty like robe in it, and I wore that in Florida when we were out on the beach. I love that thing. This might be a scarf or another kimono.

In case you don't know, I love kimonos. Yes, see Becky, that would be a great gift with a bottle of wine. I almost flashed you guys, sorry. Yeah, leaned over a little bit too much.

Okay, so this is my Stitch Fix. Last time I got a Stitch Fix box, I kept everything inside.

Wait, you can sell it or like—

you just return. They have this bag. So if you don't know how Stitch Fix works, this is your box. It's all wrapped up. You get a little like postcard thing that shows you examples of the outfit. I actually try not to look at these before I open my clothes. I don't want to spoil the surprise. But anything you don't like, you just shove back in this bag and stick it in your mailbox. And you're done. And then you can just check out on their website. So it's super simple. But if you do buy all 5 items in your box, you get 25% off. So what I have found is most times that basically means I end up getting a shirt for free. So even if I was kind of like not sure how much I'll wear it, it's like, well, it's free anyways. So I'm leaving for Canada the 21st for my Tribe business conference and to be with all my creative friends that I'm super excited excited about. So you guys know most of them— Casey and Heidi and Tamara and Sarah. Um, you know, some of us haven't even met. Like, Heidi and I have never met in real life, and we're getting to spend 5 days together in Canada, and there's 10 of us in one house. I'm super, so excited. And now my dogs are here.

We are gonna go ziplining over Niagara Falls together. How fun is that? Paisley, I don't think you should be in here. You're not listening to me. These are my dogs. This is Paisley, who chewed my breakfast socks. This is pretty cute. Can you guys see this?

Yeah, like little dandelion puffs. I was trying to say that. So this is cute. Wear like a sheer little, like a tank top underneath it. So the material is kind of sheer in the back. So let me know if you guys like this one, shirt number 1, with a cute pair of jeans. Yeah, and it's got the— I love the sleeves like this. It's got a 3/4 length sleeve with the buttons. So I'm thinking I like this one. Just barely turn it on.

But I love these colors. It's like a navy and like mustard yellow. Flowers, and it has like a little rope kind of top that holds the tank together. So that's super cute too. What Debbie say? I can't read her comment.

Ooh, it's so cute. Okay, look how it See this at the bottom? Yeah, what Emma's touching. So it's like a crossover and it kind of like bunches up at the bottom. This is so cute. I love this one. What do you guys think of the red?

I think the red is really pretty.

I don't wear stripes. Well, like floral. I wear a lot of floral. We like the red one. What do you guys think of this one? I just don't think it looks like me. No. Elaine says no. I think I agree, Elaine. I mean, it's cute, I just don't think it's my style.

Too old for you. Yeah, Donna, that's kind of what I was thinking. I mean, not— not— I love my mom, but she is older than me, but I was thinking that would be really cute on my mom. But, but I like the— I like the other kind. Now I love I love this fabric.

I like, yeah, I felt it earlier.

Oh, this is a dolman shirt, which means it has these big, this like hanging part of the sleeve right here. I love these. These are like one of my favorite styles of shirts and they're super simple and you can wear them. I'm going to show you how this hangs down as I snag it. No, I didn't. Anyways, you can wear this with leggings or jeans, but this is like a gray kind of material. Can you see that? It's super, super soft. So now here's my dilemma. I liked 4 of the 5 things. Oh, Lucy, you're too sweet. I like, I like loose things around the midsection. I like the loose style. But yeah, so this is— and some of these actually, they do fit a little bit tighter than what they look like when I'm holding them up. I think that I really love this one, and I love gray. A lot of my closet is black and gray and navy. Let's see. Yeah, Donna, well, that's what I was thinking. My mom's not watching, but I was wondering if that would fit her because it would actually be really cute. Because here's what's probably gonna happen. I haven't looked at the prices yet, but because I like 4 of the 5 of them, usually it makes sense to get them all, especially if you know someone you can give one of them to. But I for sure like the gray one the most. Kelly says 1, 2, 3, and 5. Yeah, Kelly, that's what I'm thinking. I have to keep this unless I put it on and it just looks terrible on me. I hope it doesn't because I really like it. So hopefully this fits me good. And then this one's cute. It's one of those I really have to try it on to know whether I'll like it or not. This is that tank top one with the rope ties, but we are going to Mexico for Thanksgiving, so I could wear it down there even since we're transitioning to fall.

Elaine said, how do you upgrade the fabric box?

Becky says the first one, the red one, the gray one, 1, 2, and 5. Yeah, I'm leaning towards the 1, 2, and 5. How do you upgrade the fabric box? Are you talking about the clothes? Oh, upgrade— when you go— I think it did, but I think it did a typo on her. When after you go sign up after I put my links in if you haven't signed up already there is an option on their checkout page that says you can upgrade and then you get the extra stuff. I haven't done the upgrade yet. So I haven't seen what's inside of there. Donna says 1 and 5 for sure. So this was 1. I may try these on and take pictures of them and post them in the comments on this feed instead of making a separate post for it. So people are not wondering why I'm posting pictures of myself in clothes on my SocialEasel page. So this is one. I'm going to scoot back a little so you guys can see these better. So this is shirt 1. You guys tell me after I do 1 through 5, then post your numbers that you like the most, what you think I should keep. This is 2, tank top. This is 3, the red shirt that I really, really like a lot. I'm gonna be really sad if this doesn't fit as cute as I think it's going to. And then this one, which is a no. I mean, I'm not gonna wear it myself. Anyways, I don't know if I'll keep it and give it to somebody or not. So that's 4 and then 5, which is actually one of my favorites. It is the most boring one, I guess, but it's— I think it'll be something that I wear like all the time. That's such a good fall shirt that you can wear big necklaces with or scarves. So you can dress it up with big earrings. All that good stuff. So that's my— I'm gonna leave my scissors in this box. I believe I said this on my desk. Where's the little thingy? Oh, you have it. Uh-oh, I'm on low power mode. Let me close that. Red one, Gloria says 3. Marla said model them. I am, I'm thinking I will probably try them on and then take pictures and post them for you guys. So here is, this is what they include in the box like that shows that red one that I like and some style ideas that you can do with it. So if you're not sure how to wear some of the styles this is really helpful. Then that's that gray dolman that I really like and number 1, that cotton floral or dandelions. There's that tank top and then that striped one, which is the only one I'm really not crazy about. Julie says 2 and 5 are her favorite. That's the tank top. And the gray one, right? So, um, who just asked how expensive they are? So there's different, um, prices you can set it at. I set mine to be some of the lowest, and I— you can also specify whether you want jewelry or accessories or pants or any of that kind of stuff. Mine is strictly shirts and jackets because I don't like ordering pants online. I want to try them on in the store and I get all my earrings from people who make them. And dang it, I just forgot her name. Anna Inspired made these earrings and I have a link for her store too. So if you like my cute leather earrings that I always wear, I'll post her link for those as well. So these are, these are a little bit higher price than what they normally send me. The red one, the red one is $68. So I could get all 5 for $225, or then you just pay the price per item that you want. The gray one's $58, the red one's $68. $68 and that first black one with the dandelions on it is $68. The tank top is $48 and that one I don't like is $58. So I definitely won't be getting all 5. So I'll just have to pick and choose what I like and some of them you just, you really don't know until you try them on. So I'm going to try them on. If I hate them, I'm probably not going to post the picture for you guys to see. If I like them, I'll post the picture. And show you what I'm getting. The other thing, so I talked about that styling fee, and so you pay that every— not every month, but every time you have a box sent out, and it's $29, and that's for your stylist to pick clothes out for you. And then that $29 is applied to your purchase. So like if I got the $58 shirt, they would take $29 off of it because I've already paid that, and then you just pay the difference. For whatever you keep. So that's how Stitch Fix works. And again, you can adjust your prices accordingly to your budget, and you're not required to keep anything. And you could do it once every 6 months if you wanted to, just as like a special thing for yourself. So, or if you know you have like a vacation or a special occasion coming up, that's why I purposely scheduled this one to come right now, um, because I knew I was going to Canada on the 21st, and I was hoping that Stitch Fix would just pick me out some clothes so I didn't have to go to the mall and go shopping. Because I used to love doing that, and now I just don't have the time to go walk around the mall for 5 hours trying clothes on. So for convenience, this is, this is my favorite way to shop now.
