Christina Haftman records a home kitchen video demonstrating how to make a vegan thin-crust tomato-basil-style veggie pizza using pesto (no cheese). She lists ingredients (fresh basil from Shenandoah Mountains, fresh pesto from Wegmans Mediterranean bar, baby portobello mushrooms from Costco, organic baby spinach, vine-ripe tomatoes, Vidalia onion), brands (Archer Farms thin crusts from Target), and equipment (AirBake ventilated pizza pan, herb scissors by Silver Mark). The video focuses on ingredient sources, equipment tips for a crispy thin crust, and simple prep notes (snipping basil, removing pizza to a cutting board before slicing).

Hey there. It's Christina making this video from my kitchen, vegan kitchen. And tonight we are making thin crust veggie pizza. Tomato basil pesto based pizza. And we haven't made this in, like, it's been so long, like, months, but we're making it tonight. So I thought I would do a video and show you what I have here. Dan got all the ingredients. I have them out on the counter. We ready to go. So we've got some fresh, fragrant, organic, locally grown basil leaves. And these are from Shenandoah, Shenandoah Mountains. And we have two bags of those. We have some fresh pesto sauce. We don't use, like a tomato base. We use pesto. So this is a basil pesto with high quality olive oil and things like that. I think. Is there pine nuts in here? I'm not sure. So we have that. It's fresh made today. We get it from Wegmans, by the way, their Mediterranean bar. So you always want to have that fresh. And we have baby portobello mushrooms. These are from Costco right here. And peeled garlic. Look at that. He's Italian, so you have to have garlic. And we have baby spinach. Organic baby spinach leaves, vine on ripe red tomatoes rich in lycopene. Oh, they look so good. Am I making you hungry? I'm getting hungry. Doing the video. And we have some dried spices, too. McCormick basil and oregano. Come into focus. There we go. All right. And we have a sweet Vidalia onion right here. And these are our pizza crusts. There's two of them. They are thin crust, and you can see how thin that is. So that's less carbs. And the brand is. Let me show you. Archer Farms. And they're low fat. And we get these from Target. So all these ingredients are from different places, but that's why I wanted to tell you where I got them in case you want to get them. Okay, so those are. Be gentle with them. Those are the thin crusts. And this is our pizza pan. And it is special. It's air bake. And you see all of these holes in the bottom, this ventilation? This is what makes the pizza crispy. Yes. You want it thin crust, veggie pizza. You want it to be crispy. You don't want it to be soggy. You don't want the crust to be soggy. So I don't know, there's probably about, I don't know, 200, 300 holes on this pizza. But that's pizza pan. That's what makes it crispy. It's a big pan, and it's non stick. Okay. So had to hold it up because it's kind of dark and it's blending in with the counter. We have our pizza cutter here. When you're done, you don't want to put metal on metal. So you want to remove the pizza to a cutting board and then slice it into the eight pieces or whatever. You don't want to put metal on metal or you'll ruin the metal nonstick coating on this pizza pan. And then the final thing that we have is these. Let's move back over here. I hear puppy paws behind me. I left here paw steps in the kitchen. They're wondering what we're doing. They think it's for them. Okay. So the basil. We want to snip the basil. So I have these. These special, like, scissors, herb scissors. You can also use this for lettuce. And these are going to snip the basil leaves. Let me see. Let me switch hands and show you. So they have. They're like a spring. And snip the basil leaves like this. And what's the brand of these? Let's see. Silver mark. So there we go. We've got everything ready, and we've got the video done. Upload it a little bit later, but we're gonna get to starting this pizza because we're hungry. Just wanted to give you some inspiration about something that you can make, and it's very flavorful. There's no. We're not using any cheese and all fresh ingredients. Thanks for watching, and I'll see you on my next video.
