Christina Haftman, a digital marketing strategist, deconstructs an explainer video for Blueprint Storyteller, an enterprise software that helps teams capture stakeholder input and illustrate user stories. The commentary walks through the explainer's narrative: setup (isolated idea and user stories), problem amplification (missed needs → rework), solution introduction (Storyteller centralizes input), benefits framing (prioritization, ‘transforming’ software development), and a call-to-action (demo/contact).

Hey there, it's Christina, digital marketing strategist and founder of creatingdigitalassets.com and in this video I am going to deconstruct an explainer video and kind of show you what they're doing in it and why it's so effective. So I am on blueprint Storyteller webpage. And this is enterprise software for software development teams and requirements analysts. And basically it is a way in which to illustrate user stories and use cases and different scenarios for the software. And it's integrated so that all the stakeholders, all of the organizational stakeholders, they all have a different vantage point, a different priorities, different needs. They can weigh in on what they need the software to do and you know, contribute from the point of early on so that there won't have to be things redone. So let's take a look at the explainer video.
Once upon a time, someone in your organization had a great idea. They took.
Okay, this is how it begins. And it is trying to appeal to target audience. So they want you to see yourself in this cute, novel, entertaining little video.
Took that idea to the person responsible for the product. Together they wrote a user story and another, and another little.
Okay, so together, entrepreneur has an idea, has a vision, maybe drew out a little prototype, takes it to someone who could implement it, and the two of them are working in isolation coming up with some ideas. However, there's a problem.
Little did they know these user stories touched so many parts of the business. Once these other players stepped in, implementing the original idea was no longer straightforward.
Amplifying the problem. Look at the change of their facial expression.
There were so many other considerations.
Even all these other people have to weigh in on this.
Scarier was the possibility that certain considerations had been overlooked. Yeah, this scenario was all too familiar.
So they're amplifying the problem.
As missed needs and interests surface later in the project, these workers knew they would become reworkers. Reworking, Rework. Confusing. Yeah. Messy.
Uh huh.
Productive.
Really. Amplifying the problem. Look at this. Big bold words. And the guy just fell off his chair.
Not at all. But this was not the end.
All right. Here they introduce the solution.
Storyteller. Storyteller captures every stakeholder's input in one place.
Now he's going to talk about the benefits.
Keeping the big picture always in sight. Seeing the big picture and knowing the why allows you to prioritize work for each Sprint. Storyteller transforms the way your business builds software.
Did you catch that? We don't improve the way you build software, we transform it That's a more superlative word and a bigger promise.
The moral of the story. You can improve the quality of user stories, and your ideas can shine brightly with Storyteller.
Okay, so just kind of encapsulating your organization the way it is today and contrasting that to the way your organization could be in the future.
Blueprint today for more information.
Ends with a call to action. Call us. They're probably going to set you up with a demo and show you how it works.
