A short YouTube video by Christina Haftman showing a recently purchased bundle of locally grown fresh mint (Virginia). Christina describes drying the mint, notes the cost ($2 for one bunch), and outlines plans to use it for watermelon mint juice and mango mint salsa (ingredients: champagne mango, red bell pepper, optional purple onion and cilantro). She emphasizes the herb's beauty and fragrance and may share recipes in a future video.

Hey there, it's Christina. And another video from my kitchen. I just got home with a bundle of fresh mint. It was locally grown here in Virginia, and I'm just drying it out because it was in some water. So I have it on a paper towel here. I got one bunch for $2. And. You can see how much is in here. A generous amount. These are fresh mint leaves. And, yeah, I absolutely love mint. And if you have followed any of my videos, you probably know what I'm going to do with this. Going to make watermelon mint juice, but don't need all of it for that. So I think what I'm going to do with the remaining, I think I'm going to divide it in half, and then the other half, I'm going to make a mango mint salsa. So I'm going to use champagne mango, red bell pepper, and maybe some purple onion. And I don't know if I'll do cilantro or not. I think I'll just do mint. And, yeah, I'll do a mango mint salsa, because that's really good, too. So I just wanted to show you what beautiful fresh herbs are. Beautiful fresh herbs look like, how beautiful they can be, and just a few ideas of how I'm using mine. I'm sure there's a whole lot of other stuff we can do with mint, but, yeah, it's just so fragrant, too. Unfortunately, on the video, you cannot smell the fragrance, but it's just so refreshing. And if you believe in aromatherapy, it's very energizing and positive when you have mint. So, yeah, so I'm going to make my watermelon mint juice and my mango mint salsa. And if it turns out pretty good, I will share it on a future video. Okay. Okay. Thanks for watching. Bye. Bye.
