A short YouTube review by Christina Haftman (founder & CEO of Creating Digital Assets) of the book Dot Com Secrets by Russell Brunson (founder of ClickFunnels). Haftman recommends the paperback for its clear visual funnel diagrams, highlights the book's focus on architecting marketing funnels and consumer psychology, and emphasizes practical implementation: tracking key metrics on a daily dashboard, testing and adjusting email subject lines, copy, and calls-to-action, and monitoring list responsiveness. She cites endorsements/foreword (Dan Kennedy; Tony Robbins) and references Russell Brunson's Funnel Hacking Live event in Texas (2017).

Hey there, it's Christina, founder and CEO of Creating Digital Assets. And I'm making this video to let you know about this great book that I'm reading. It's called Dot Com Secrets and it's by Russell Brunson. He is the founder of ClickFunnels, which is an amazing software that helps you to architect your marketing funnel and the sequence of events that you take people through after they opt in on your lead capture page. So you really like architecting and experience and it's very strategic. There's analytics to monitor at each point. And this is a book that I've been meaning to read for so long and I finally got it from Amazon. I carry it around with me all the time, so anytime I have a little extra time I can look at it. And I kind of like audiobooks the best because I'm always busy, I'm always on the go. But this one here, I prefer to actually have the paperback because of the nature of funnels. It is a sequence of events. It's a business process flow and that's very visual and I want to see. And he has some really, really great illustrations in here and they are crystal clear, they're neat, they're clean, very easy to understand. And I recommend this book for anybody who is a digital marketing strategist or Internet entrepreneur. If you are helping other entrepreneurs or small businesses, locally, medium sized businesses, whatever, this is an excellent book to help you with lead generation and lead capture from a multiple number of lead sources and taking people down a customer journey, predetermined architected path leading towards a sale. Okay, so you know, there's a lot to it, but it is really the, it's really fundamental and foundational if you're selling anything online and it's something that you really want to implement and monitor and test. So he is really respected in the industry. He, he just hosted a funnel hacking live event in Texas. I wish I could have gone for 2017. A lot of people that I know were there and even the people that weren't there were watching on Facebook. So yeah, I mean, there's a foreword here by Dan Kenneday, Dan Kennedy, renowned copywriter and it's endorsed by Tony Robbins too. And of course personal development coach. Everybody knows Tony. So definitely pick up this book and understand consumer psychology and behavior and Internet marketing, marketing funnels and automating your business process flow. But it's not like you're automating it and forgetting it. You really do need to pay attention to what people are responsive to, to and then adjust from there. So you gotta identify your key metrics, keep an eye on them every single day on your dashboard and yeah, and make adjustments until you get this thing dialed in for your particular target audience. And you know, things that you might modify might be subject line of your email if your open rates are low, the body of your email and the quality of your copywriting if your click throughs aren't really there. And also your call to actions because I guess we're talking I was kind of alluding to email your list when you send this out to your list because the size of your list matters but also your relationship with them which is measured by their responsiveness to you or when you have a call to action. Now a call to action isn't always to buy but just like a suggestion to click something or to opt in or to take a look at this or that. We want to see how kind of they trust you and if you put something in front of them, they'll do it.
