She notes price (~$5.99 each), quick preparation (boil ~2 minutes), pairing suggestions (tomato-basil sauce, basil pesto, Earth Balance + salt), and that availability may vary by Whole Foods location. Hey there. This is Christina, and this video is.
For anybody who is vegan or considering being vegan or recently making the transition to vegan and looking for some delicious options, particularly if you have always loved cheese and also if you are someone who enjoys Italian cuisine like ravioli. And that's something that I really enjoyed in my life before I was vegan, loved fresh ravioli like these. And I'm so delighted to find at Whole Foods, La Pasta brand fresh ravioli in the refrigerated section that is vegan and absolutely delicious. So they have two varieties here. I love them both equally, so you can just pick up whichever one is your favorite or both. There's a dairy free mushroom ravioli right.
Here and it has a mix of oven roasted mushrooms sauteed with onions and thyme and parsley. So that's what's inside of them. And then this one is a vegan.
Spinach and cheese ravioli where it has.
The spinach sauteed with roasted garlic and nutmeg and a mixture of fresh vegan cheeses. So they're probably soy based, but organic soy. And let me tell you, this is so delicious.
And each of these are about $6 each, like $5.99.
And you just boil some water and just put them in the boiling water for no more than two minutes or so.
So it's so convenient and so fast.
And so good for you and so delicious.
But hey, don't take my word for it.
Try it the next time you're at Whole Foods.
Now, I will say that all Whole Foods locations don't have this exact ravioli variety every time everywhere.
So you'll have to look.
But it is in the refrigerated section.
Next to the fresh pasta and the fresh pasta sauces.
There's actually a really amazing tomato basil, Roma basil tomato fresh sauce that is.
Near this, that Whole Foods makes.
It's delicious, if you are interested in that.
And there's also a really nice, this.
Goes really nice with a fresh basil pesto with high quality olive oil. Or of course you can just use some Earth balance and some pink Himalayan sea salt if you want to keep things really light. But I wanted to show this to you just to let you know that there are alternatives that people are putting on the market for us. And they absolutely are delicious.
And I love buying them.
They're reasonably priced.
I mean, $6 for a meal.
Yeah, that's economical to me. Sometimes there's this misconception that things are.
Expensive, but.
You just have to do some research. You know and experimentation and go into the store with the spirit of exploring every time and you'll find some really great things, really great products. So I just wanted to pass this along to you and if you have an opportunity to try them, let me know what you think. Let me know if you're as excited.
