Are you ready to get started? Let's go. Welcome back to 5 Minutes of Momentum. Today I want to talk to you about what premium clients require. If you are in this shift in your business where you're wanting to attract more premium clients, now what that might look like for you is going to be different to other people, but I want you to think about like premium clients are usually people who will pay high ticket prices, people who really will do the work, that will show up, that will value what it is that you're doing and will be a really great, incredible client to work with, right? That's the way I look at premium clients. Now it might be shifting the level or stage of business that you support people in. So if you support other people in business, it might be recognizing that, hey, I've been serving people in the startup space and I really want to start focusing on people in the growth phase. Or I've been focusing on growth phase and I really want to focus on the scale phase because people are further along in business. So if you are in that stage and you're really wanting to start to attract more premium clients, there are certain things that those premium clients require from you. And some of this might be confronting, other parts could be like, yep, I get it. I just know I need to step into that more, right? So premium clients require you to show up before they show up. They require you to lead rather than follow. So I want you to ask yourself, where in your business are you leading versus following, and vice versa? Where are you just following and not actually sharing your opinion, not standing up and actually communicating clearly and with conviction in order for people to feel like you are the leader in the space? Premium clients want to work with leaders. They don't want to work with people who are umming and ahhing about their service offerings or how they help people. They really want people who you are going to stand up with conviction and communicate effectively. So it does come back to clear communication, and underlying that is definitely grounded confidence. So you need to determine how are you going to really bolster that confidence within yourself in order for you to show up with strong conviction and clear communication. So for some people, that's really diving into valuing the service offering that they have, so believing in the value that you deliver. So if it's been a while for you to do some reflection on the clients that you've worked with in the past and the results you've been able to achieve for them, and also the results you've achieved for yourself within your business, maybe it's time to do that. Like recently I had a client had a $56,000 month and we did a full backtrack of like, okay, what did— what worked well? What have you done? What changes have you made? And for her it was huge identity shifts. And it was also believing and working through the imposter syndrome, believing the value that she has to deliver is so worthy of charging well. Secondly, it was that she was positioning herself as the go-to person in her industry in order to attract that premium client. So we dived into a few things. We dived into her offering. We dived in how to communicate clearly the value that she delivers and how to communicate her as the premium person to choose. Right? Why her? We dived into why the people in her industry would choose her over anybody else. Sometimes that can bring up a lot of insecurity, or it can be a little bit of doubt, or sometimes it's because you have a bit of imposter syndrome and you're seeing other people as better than you. When really, the women that I love to work with, they are incredible. You are incredible, right? And you are delivering really high-level value, but you don't believe that you are yet. And so for premium clients to choose you, they have to see you go first, see you lead, they have to see you as a premium option to choose. So that could be reflected in your pricing, it could be reflected in your messaging, it could be reflected in the clients that you're still accepting. So I want you to ask yourself, like, if you are wanting to attract more of your clients, right? If you look at the list of clients that you currently have and you attracted more of those clients, would you say that they're premium or not? Because if they're not, then you want to ask yourself, what is it within me that doesn't believe that I can serve premium clients? Because if you keep accepting less than you deserve, you're saying to yourself that I don't have the skill set or the qualifications or the ability or the confidence to be able to serve clients at that next level. So we backtrack it and actually ask ourselves, like, what is it? What would I need to believe about myself in order for me to serve premium clients at that next level? And sometimes that helps us really look at what needs to be improved within the business. Maybe there are the way that you serve people, your boundaries, Maybe it's the way that you show up and serve people in a really unique way. Maybe it is really owning your value in a whole different light. Maybe it is communicating the results that you achieve for people and really owning that so then people know you are a premium choice. Maybe it is your collateral. Maybe it is your branding. Maybe it is your website. Like, maybe there are some things that you do need to improve in order for you to be seen as premium. But honestly, it's always gonna come back down to the identity. Who you believe you are and who you believe you're capable of serving.
